Bear with us on the audio on this and enjoy the episode on Magic Kingdom Rides. Are they Over Under or Properly Rated? The first one is the Magic Carpets of Aladdin. How did you write this? Can't comment.

Speaker 2:

How did you write it?

Speaker 1:

So, we've never ridden this We've never ridden the Magic Carpets of Aladdin. We've ridden another similar ride at Magic Kingdom, dumbo, dumbo. So basing it on that, I would say properly, but I can't officially say in any way, they are a little different. They are a little different with the movements and stuff, but I mean the overall is the same thing. So again, without writing it, I would think properly, but I don't want to give an official answer till we've written it.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, I'm saying can't comment as well. Alright, next one, jungle Cruise. I went properly rated. I did not say under, because this ride gets a lot of hype about it. It's usually a really long wait, but I don't hear people complaining a lot about it either. So that's why I and I love this attraction. Speaking of this attraction, talking to Kim today, she has two cast members on her staff that worked at Jungle Cruise, so we're going to try to get both of them on sometime To hear their experiences in training and stuff like that. So I put properly because it is a long wait, but 60 minutes is going to be the maximum for me. But it's a really cool attraction. The cast members do a really great job. They love their job there.

Speaker 2:

They absolutely love their job. I saw on Twitter the ride broke like the attraction completely broke down and the cast members were outside of the queue, reenacting the whole show.

Speaker 1:

Oh yes, I saw that, that was amazing.

Speaker 2:

That's, they just really love doing what they do. And fun fact Robin Williams was a Jungle Cruise skipper in Disneyland.

Speaker 1:

Did not know that.

Speaker 2:

Several big actors and comedians got their. Did that?

Speaker 1:

Yeah, because they throw so many jokes in there and everything. Yeah Well, I know this isn't how we normally do it, but I answered it in two ways. Okay, sometimes we answer it two ways so properly, as far as like the jokes and how they keep you entertained while you're waiting in line, because they do it even.

Speaker 2:

The queue is really cool yeah.

Speaker 1:

While you're in the queue, you know they, they keep the guests entertained and then, like Zach just shared that other story when you know it was broke down, you know how they acted everything out, so that I think is properly the right itself to wait like 60 minutes or more. I feel like it would. It's overly rated for that. I would maybe do like 40 minutes, 45 minutes. You're really picking this attraction.

Speaker 1:

But I just, I don't know I mean, because those lines there's days where it's it's an hour plus, and I'm just usually up to 90 minutes. Yeah, and I'm just like I don't know. I'm not waiting 90 for it. But so that's my reasoning.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, okay, all right.

Speaker 1:

All right. Next, pirates of some people say Caribbean or Caribbean. Yes, so how did you write this?

Speaker 2:

I said underrated. Okay, it's been grown on me. I like the theming, I like the surprises in there and the music's really starting to get me and the queue's really cool too. It never usually gets that long away if it's a long way. It's a really busy day in the parks, yeah, but it's usually 20 to 30 minutes and it's definitely worth that weight. So I think it's underrated. I think it's one of the more underrated or older attractions there.

Speaker 1:

Right, I put properly rated, but I'm the same way the last time or two that we've been on it.

Speaker 2:

You've gotten wet every time.

Speaker 1:

Like the one little. It's not even like a drop, drop, but just like this little bitty I don't know how to describe it Cannonball. Well, it's like a tiny little drop and then a cannonball always gets me too.

Speaker 2:

Oh, a little drop. Yeah Well, you're not really getting wet on the drop.

Speaker 1:

Oh, I've, for whatever reason. Last time I did a little Huh, but so anyway. But yeah, so it's grown on me. Each time you know a little more as far as just the overall ride, but I still think properly because, like Zach was just saying, it doesn't get, you know, usually too long of a wait. It's usually right around that 30 minute mark, Um, but I can see like the lines being longer, like on a rainy day, because it's an indoor ride. Yeah, so, but I think it's properly.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, the last time we went through it I was so excited walking through the queue I was singing in the Yohou.

Speaker 1:

I was singing the song like.

Speaker 2:

I just loved it.

Speaker 1:

Yes.

Speaker 2:

Okay, what do you have next?

Speaker 1:

The next one is Prince Charming Regal Carousel. What did you put? I put properly, I did too. Okay, we haven't ridden it, except for our very first trip, one time. Yeah, and. But you know like I think I want to ride it again because you have fun with that.

Speaker 1:

That's fine. Well, it'd be me time, I guess. But you know, it's one like we've we've passed, and you either see it and be like, no, it's all right, it's a carousel, or you just, you know, you just don't have time, You're trying to get to a different attraction, but I mean, it's a. It's a great way to just kind of relax a minute once you're on there, and I mean the, the seats that you can sit on and everything are just a little more magical than your regular carousels.

Speaker 2:

So this is where magic kingdom, my feelings about magic kingdom, become complicated.

Speaker 1:

Okay.

Speaker 2:

I love the magic kingdom, but this is where I think it's too much in your face. Like the Disney ish is too much in your face. In the carousel and fantasy land area, I do like it, but I this is where my emotions get complicated, because this is my one thing I don't really like. It's a cool attraction. It is the oldest attraction in all of Walt Disney parks. It was refurbished from, I think, like 1919 or 1928, something like that.

Speaker 2:

But I'm saying properly rated. We did it once, that's enough. For me it's a carousel. But, this is where I think you get too much Disney.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, I mean I wouldn't do it every time, but I mean we've been a few times now since then, and so that's why I was like you know I might would do it again.

Speaker 2:

Did like I don't. They're not doing it now because of COVID, but the sword and the stone in the front of it they would have like a kid, or like they would let all adults try it, and then they would let a kid try it and like the kid would pull it out.

Speaker 1:

I forgot about that part.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, that is cool. If they brought that back would be cool. Yeah, yeah, but it's a carousel. Never a long wait usually. No, usually not.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, but again, you know we haven't since the very first trip. So that's why I was like I wouldn't mind, you know, if you just needed a few minutes to take it easy and that kind of thing.

Speaker 2:

So you go do that and I'll go have me the Fruse Boo or something.

Speaker 1:

All right, moving on to Peter Pan's flight.

Speaker 2:

I put under.

Speaker 1:

Okay, explain.

Speaker 2:

Gotcha.

Speaker 1:

Oh, did you thought I was serious? That's why I kind of made a face.

Speaker 2:

But over, completely over you. What do you put?

Speaker 1:

I put overly rated as well, just because the line for this gets so so long and backed up and I just feel like the ride itself is so short that to wait an hour and a half or more it just isn't worth it.

Speaker 2:

No, it is not 20 minutes maybe, but it is a short ride. We enjoyed it the first time we did it this. When we did it last time, I was like me and our youngest were just like really.

Speaker 1:

Yeah.

Speaker 2:

I wasn't.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, I felt the same way and I don't know what the difference was, because the first time we really did like it, and maybe it was just the weight, but the weight still was about the same for us.

Speaker 2:

Maybe because we, because we went through the queue and you kind of got into that mindset of okay, we're in Neverland or where Wendy's house, and there's none and all of that that could be. But yeah, this time no, it just didn't have, didn't have that.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, yeah, I agree. So for for how long the weight is and everything. Now I mean, if you've never been on it before, yes, by all means try it, but I wouldn't wait an hour and a half. I would maybe 30 minutes.

Speaker 2:

I wouldn't even waste a lightning lane on or a fast, whatever they call them. Genie plus pick. I wouldn't even waste a genie plus pick on this anymore.

Speaker 1:

Right yeah.

Speaker 2:

It's a waste of a pick, in my opinion, Like yeah, but yeah.

Speaker 1:

But it was just a little different vibe and feeling for us the second time versus the first time and it could just be exactly what you said about the queue experience.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, no, overrated, completely overrated.

Speaker 1:

Yeah. All right. All right. Next one it's a small world. What did you put? I put overly rated, but I get all the hype about it though. Okay, because of the history of it you are seeing cultures represented, you know so, in in the song itself. You know it gets stuck in your head, but it's worth experiencing at least one time. I remember writing it when I was eight with my grandparents and stuff, so you know writing it once as as a family, with my family.

Speaker 1:

You know it's like, oh, okay, but that would be that, but that's my last time, at least until we have grandkids or something or Disneyland or yeah, or experiencing it in Disneyland, since it is a little different there, but overly as far as some that enjoy going to it all the time and waiting, no matter how long the wait is, and you know just oh. I love it. You got to experience it.

Speaker 2:

And, yeah, I don't think everybody in the history of Disney World has ever said oh my God, you have to experience it. When talking about it's a small world, I don't know. I think I put properly it's a, it's a must. Do you have to do it once? But then, once you do it once in Disney World, yeah, yeah, that's it, and I wouldn't wait more than 15 minutes for it.

Speaker 1:

I mean again, I was. I was young when I first did so. Of course I wanted to with our own kids, but I don't plan to again until, like I said, if you know, if we're grandparents in, you know years from now.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, but we'll definitely do it in Disneyland. Yes, because that's the one that Walt built.

Speaker 1:

Right, yes, and it's outside.

Speaker 2:

It's part of it. Yeah, yeah, all right. Next is haunted mansion.

Speaker 1:

I did properly.

Speaker 2:

I agree, properly ready. It can get a long wait, but it's starting to grow on me some and there is a really good backstory to this and what you see outside and the queues just scratching the surface on it.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, you know, and I don't know as much about all that as as Zach does, but as far as the queue, the outside things, that, all the detail, you know when you're waiting in line, it, just you know it. It that's part of what made it properly rated for me. We got to experience the pre show last time, like the stretch room, stretching room, yes, so that adds to the experience as well. And, yeah, you know, like I might not would wait 90 minutes, but I would wait up to an hour, yeah, yeah.

Speaker 2:

That's good, right All right, all right.

Speaker 1:

Next big Thunder Mountain railroad Under the way you'd say that Well, first of all, it's the goat.

Speaker 2:

It's the goat and best remove them.

Speaker 1:

Yes, make sure you remove your hats and sunglasses.

Speaker 2:

It usually doesn't have a super long wait, Even on busy days. I don't usually see it above 50 to 60 minutes. Normally it's around 30.

Speaker 1:

Right, well, and that's when it's neighbor ride is open.

Speaker 2:

Yes, splash Mountain is closed right now, but never really usually gets that long of a wait. It's a really fun coaster. It will whip you around pretty good. Yes, you have to sit in the back. The experience in the back is so awesome and the backstory to this theme or this attraction is really, really cool and it's a lot more in depth than people think that you can see some of that in the queue as well. When you read, when you're in the queue and kind of read some of the stuff that's in there, you can get a little bit of a sense of the story and backstory to this ride. But it's a good long coaster.

Speaker 1:

Yeah yeah, it's definitely not a short ride.

Speaker 2:

No it's a good long coaster. It's got a good backstory. Definitely underrated, in my opinion. Very fun it's the goat you got to love. The goat you got to love best remove them you got to love all that stuff. It's got everything going for it under it. Completely underrated.

Speaker 1:

Of course, because it's one of your favorites.

Speaker 2:

Not just because it's one of my favorites, but because you don't hear a lot of people talk that much about it. And it's a great ride.

Speaker 1:

I put it properly rated, it's now the length of the ride. I love the length of it because I feel like coasters, like I wish seven doors. Mine train would be that long, you know.

Speaker 1:

I mean you know, when you're trying to compare it to something just length wise, you know. So the legs I was saying oftentimes the the way isn't that long. It's a little longer when like splash mountains down or closed, but even then it's not too bad. I know on our last trip it was posted like 45 minutes but you only waited 30. We waited.

Speaker 2:

We had a lightning lane once, but then we only waited, I think, like 30 minutes before that. Okay, yeah.

Speaker 1:

So but yeah, for me it's just the whipping around. I mean it will you better hold on on certain parts, but it's fun. But yeah, you know, I think for me I've been sitting next to our youngest on the times that I've been on it and how much he moves around in his seat just kind of scares him. So I think that that mom instinct in me kind of comes out and so that takes away from it a little bit for me.

Speaker 2:

You got to have a little bit. You know that possibility of a chance that, hey, you may go flying out. You know that's part of the experience.

Speaker 1:

Just the way he looks and like, huh, you know that's having fun. Yeah, but one of the times after he was crying, so so, you can tough it up. Anyway, moving on, next splash mountain properly rated.

Speaker 2:

I agree. Yeah, can't get a long wait Worth it. Though the music is really cool, we're not going to get into the stuff right now.

Speaker 1:

Well, they haven't rethemed it yet, even through this refurbishment that they've been doing right now, but I've never heard anybody say that they did not like Splash Mountain except if you just don't like getting wet.

Speaker 2:

But even then you may get a little wet, but you're not coming off of this attraction completely soaked.

Speaker 1:

No, and it depends on the time of year and the temperatures and stuff.

Speaker 2:

You ask what you get. They don't have the jets and stuff on when it's cold either.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, I was going to say we've. We've now picked up on when we've been, when it's been cooler or when, or this past trip in the winter, like they didn't have it turned up as much to just to spray water out as much as I can. But I think that's where I've ridden it once in the summer and like half I forgot what side it was. Let's just say it was my whole left side was just soaked.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, but it was 100 degrees outside, so yeah but still like for about 10 minutes.

Speaker 1:

You just, you know, you were all sloshy walking around.

Speaker 3:

Yeah, but it's fun. Yeah, but I love it. Yeah, yeah, I mean the ride itself.

Speaker 1:

Yes, I enjoy the music. I enjoy how long it is, so it is worth worth waiting for. I would wait, you know an hour.

Speaker 2:

We put it in out. Yeah, I wouldn't wait any more than an hour.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, but yeah, I definitely whenever they do retheming it, I will miss it, but I mean I will still definitely ride it, probably every time, just because even though it might be rethemed, it's still splash mountain.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, sure, All right under the sea journey of the little mermaid.

Speaker 1:

I put this one as under.

Speaker 2:

I agree with you.

Speaker 1:

I put it as under I thought you're going to tease me.

Speaker 2:

No, it is a fun attraction.

Speaker 1:

It is fun. You know it's similar to some other rides and like the what is it? The Nemo ride? Yeah, the clamshell, yeah the clamshell, you know it's, it's, it's similar to you, know how you're moving around and everything, but it takes you through so many scenes of the little mermaid movie. You're seeing all the characters. Little mermaid was like the first Disney movie that I really, truly remember from growing up. I watched it, I guess right before my kindergarten year and then, growing up, my best friend and I like that's what brought us together and so, yeah, the little mermaid just has some special meaning to me. You know, it was the start for me, like I said, with Disney movies, because then right after that was Beauty and the Beast and then Aladdin and Lion King. So but yes, I just love how it it shares so many of the scenes from Little Mermaid.

Speaker 2:

I love it because we always give you a hard time when we go through the line. Joking aside the queue, once you get in a little bit there's flounder in the some of the screens. It's actually a pretty cool queue.

Speaker 1:

Yes, it is. Once you're in the main queue, yeah.

Speaker 2:

The first time we did it, we were walking by like oh, it's only what, was it? 10 or 15 minute wait, maybe 15.

Speaker 1:

Maybe 15.

Speaker 2:

So we left the strollers out and our friends with their. Howard was he at the time Six months, seven months, he was under a year, so they just carried him on and I guess the ride broke down when we were waiting online and we stood there for what? 45, 50 minutes? And he just fell asleep and our poor friend had to hold it like we were on the. Oh, it's only a 10 minute wait.

Speaker 2:

And then we always give Brittany a hard time, but it is a really cool attraction. I like the song, the big room when you first go in under the sea.

Speaker 1:

Oh yeah, yeah, with Sebastian. That's pretty cool.

Speaker 2:

However, the Ursula animatronic is the scariest thing on Disney property. I have to close my eyes every time they go through that part.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, I mean it's very disturbing. It can be and it kind of catches you off guard a little bit on the ride. But yeah, just I mean, but she's a big part of the movie too.

Speaker 2:

So of course it's a disturbing part of the movie.

Speaker 1:

Of course it's going to be included, but but yeah, it's just a fun ride and you know I didn't get to do it this this last trip, but it's one that I definitely wished I had. So I think, going forward, even if it's just me, it'll be one that I do each trip we go. We did miss going on this past time, but there were again we were deciding new stuff right stuff that we wanted to do again.

Speaker 2:

So some things again, just did not make the cut.

Speaker 3:

And a little mermaid yeah not make that we ate a lot.

Speaker 2:

We did eat a lot of different snack yeah that did take, you know, 30 minutes, 45 minutes that kind of stuff, so that eats into the time to have a different weight experience for my deal with you.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, because that was part of why I didn't, because if my, because you and the boys were doing your own thing, I was like, okay, let me go get a dull whip and then I'll head over there and then dull it took a little while.

Speaker 2:

Importance of mobile water.

Speaker 1:

Yes, but I should have done it like a lot earlier. So even if I had put it in while I was waiting in line, it would have been about the same time, so but yes, now I know, now I know a little more for the future, and then going to do it Now, I know for the future. So next one, the barnstormer can't come.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, I can't officially comment either, based on reviews and stuff though that I've seen, it may would end up on my underlist just because it's one of the first like coasters that littles can ride. But it seems like a lot of videos and stuff that I've seen about it like the adults that really enjoy it even though it's a short coaster ride.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, our oldest wanted to do this one, but again, this was a few years ago. No, this was this pastoral. He was like I want to go do that and I was like okay. But, again, it did not make the cut of attractions we wanted to do over versus doing new things.

Speaker 1:

Right right. But I thought you were talking about the first time, because I don't know if he was tall enough then.

Speaker 2:

No, he would have. Been fun fact about this this roller coaster goes faster than Space Mountain.

Speaker 1:

Oh okay, yeah, all right, then didn't know that.

Speaker 2:

So can't comment.

Speaker 1:

Can't officially comment. Nope, all right. Next Dumbo the flying elephant.

Speaker 2:

Properly read it I agree, yeah, they got a cool waiting area to that your kids can go and they give you like a little pager and they'll call you back once you're time to go.

Speaker 1:

Yep, yep. So it's a nice little play area, you know, gives you, gives parents a break to have a seat while the kids are running around and just just having a good time. And it's indoor, so yeah, gets you out of the heat if you're in the you know hotter months and then if you need to warm up a bit in the cooler months, so yeah and I think this is one of the you have to do it. You have to go on your least once, at least once, yeah that's one of the must do's.

Speaker 1:

Yes, all right, all right, seven doors mine train overrated. I did overrated to finally we agree on something. So my reasoning behind it being overrated. So I just wish it was a longer ride for the amount of time that you have to wait for it, because it is cute, the theming of it is cute, it's great for families. You know there's a little bit shorter of a height requirement, but for how long you wait and how short the ride is is why I'm putting it at over.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, I would agree it's. It is a great one. After a barnstormer, this is going to be the like the next size coaster you go up to and it's very smooth. But it's really cool being on the attraction in the middle of the park. I think it's really cool because you get to see a lot of the park that you're going by and people get to see you on it.

Speaker 1:

That's true.

Speaker 2:

But for the long as it gets it's not worth it. It's not worth the wait, especially with kids our age. Yeah like they're, they're, they're both like we're not waiting that.

Speaker 1:

So you know, the first trip or two?

Speaker 2:

yes, it's a must for you to spend the money for the lighting lane, then that's the way you want to do it, but don't wait in this line. It's not worth your time. Go do something else.

Speaker 1:

Yeah.

Speaker 2:

Although I do want to ride this during the fireworks.

Speaker 1:

Right, so maybe the line might would be a little shorter at that time and then catching the fireworks while you're on it.

Speaker 2:

That's what I would like to do next.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, yeah, all right. Next one the many adventures of Winnie the Pooh.

Speaker 2:

What do you say?

Speaker 1:

I was torn on this but I ended up doing properly Okay, um, because you have. I mean, I like Winnie the Pooh, but I'm not a huge, huge Winnie the Pooh fan, so but for those that are, I think it is properly rated for them. But you can tell this was a ride that used to be a different ride.

Speaker 2:

Yes, this is to be Mr Toad's Wild Ride.

Speaker 1:

Right. So certain parts of it I think they could have maybe refurbished a little better for Winnie the Pooh, um, but again, um, for those big Winnie the Pooh fans, I think it would be properly rated for them. So I'm looking at it from that point of view. Um, you know, we've experienced it once or twice, now Twice Um, and I'm I'm good to not experience it again. But if this is your only trip and you've got some younger ones or anyone that likes Winnie the Pooh, then then it would be, uh, I would think, a must do for you.

Speaker 2:

Okay, I put over. No, we've done it twice, and the only reason I put over is because I had a hard time following the story Right. It got pretty crazy there, mm hmm, my favorite part of this attraction is when Mr Toad is handing over the deed to Pooh at the beginning, and you have to know where to look.

Speaker 2:

It's on the left as you go into one of the rooms. I don't know much about Mr Toad's Wild Ride. We're going to ride it when we go to Disneyland, though, and I know it's a movie, but I just I have a really hard time. I have a hard time following the story of this ride.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, that's a good point too. That's why it kind of bounces around Like Tigger. Yeah, I just it just.

Speaker 2:

It didn't make sense to me. Yeah. I tried to follow it, I just couldn't do it, mm hmm, so All right.

Speaker 1:

Next is Mad Tea Party. I put under. I did too.

Speaker 2:

I think this is one you have to do with kids.

Speaker 1:

You have to do with kids. You can control how, how much you spin, how fast you spin, and so I a lot of times the the youngest, likes to ride it with me because he wants to go a little bit fast, but not too much. His stomach gets a little queasy easily with rides like that Queasy, queasy easily, queasy easily, um but. But it's fun. And then you know at times the music that they play with it and then at certain um special after hour parties they they do like different holiday music and lighting and everything. So it can be really, really fun with your kids.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, it is really fun with the kids I put under because I like to get that thing going super, super fast and y'all are a bunch of wusses. Won't get on it with me and our oldest. I just said because of his stomach, you know we're going to have to toughen him up some Mm. Hmm, yeah, so yeah.

Speaker 1:

When you deal with him getting sick. Okay, that's fine.

Speaker 2:

I'm sure he's not the first person ever gets sick on that ride, mm hmm, mm, hmm, but yeah, all right. All right, tomorrowland Speedway what did you put?

Speaker 1:

I put under.

Speaker 2:

I agree Under it. Yes.

Speaker 1:

Under, because a lot of times it's not that long of a line, um, usually less than an hour, a lot of times 30 or less, at least when we've been Um. This, this is another one that's fun to do with your kids, um, and you know it's great if you know there's more than just two of you, so you're either in a car in front or behind the rest of your party. Um, so, yeah, it's just, it's just a fun time to be on the Speedway and yeah, yeah, they love to crash it yeah.

Speaker 1:

You're not supposed to, but they all do.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, and you get a really good view of the Tron construction too.

Speaker 1:

Mm. Hmm, yeah, you get some good views and you know it's a. It's a relaxing but fun ride. Yeah, it's great, all right.

Speaker 2:

Next is Astro Orbiter. Wait Well, I was going to say back to you tomorrowland Speedway too.

Speaker 1:

So even if you have like a younger child or shorter child that, um, maybe can't reach the gas pedal like they can still drive, yeah, with doing the steering wheel, and the adult can just reach over from where they're sitting and have their foot on the gas pedal. So it's it's. It works really well with that, yeah.

Speaker 2:

Our boys have a lot of fun just steering and not crashing into the cars, but just banging it against the rails and yeah, it's a lot of fun.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, yep, yeah, okay, all right. Well, you had started to say so. Astro Orbiter no comment, yeah. We have not ridden this one yet. Um, maybe once we do, we'll have to do it. I think if we wrote it at night I might would say properly Um, it's very similar to your, your Dumbo ride again. It's just you have to take an elevator up. Um explain that process a little more.

Speaker 2:

You have to take an elevator up.

Speaker 1:

It's right next to people mover.

Speaker 2:

It's on top of people, yeah.

Speaker 1:

So, anyway, you have to take an elevator up, um. I think that adds to your wait time, um, because only so many people can go up and down, um, in the elevator, but uh, I don't know. Again, it's very, very similar to riding a ride like Dumbo, um, but I think the view from up there during the nighttime, and like even the fireworks and stuff, would make it possibly properly.

Speaker 2:

This is going to be a first ride we do during the fireworks, or first ride I do during the fireworks. Let me rephrase that yes. Everything okay over there. Yeah, yeah, uh, yeah. So we'll get back to you on that one. All right. Next one is space mountain, big one.

Speaker 1:

For, for others I would say properly, for me I would say overly rated and blocked Um.

Speaker 2:

I put over rated as well. Oh because I don't want that line to get any longer than it already is.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, it can get long, but then sometimes it moves really fast, it does.

Speaker 2:

They turn them things out, man.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, they do yeah.

Speaker 2:

The as long as I don't mind the queue, as long as it's not backed up outside. But if it's backed up outside it's going to be a long wait, but worth it. I think it's properly rated. It's not I'm saying that jokingly overly rated, joking. Um, once you get in the queue, the music that's one of my favorite parts. The music in there is so relaxing.

Speaker 2:

And I really like looking at all the details that's in the queue. I know it's very 1980s ish queue, but it's just so awesome. It's so 80, 1980s ish Awesome. And the music in the queue before you get into, like the main boarding area, is so peaceful, so relaxing. I could like nap in there. It's just awesome.

Speaker 1:

I don't know if I can nap in there, but I do understand what you mean about the music. Um yeah, for me I don't know. Like you know, it's just one of those rides that I freak out on a little bit for whatever reason. The last time I rode it, I don't know like tears were just coming from my eyes.

Speaker 2:

So um.

Speaker 1:

Joy, no, and so I'm just like, okay, I'm done with Space Mountain, but Zach and the boys love it. I mean, this is one of the rides when it's a shorter wait time. You know, they may ride it three or more times that day, just depending on what we have going on in the day at the park Twice this past time and then six times back in June, right In one day, but back in June was when the lines were so much shorter everywhere. Yes, Um alright. Next one is Tomorrowland Transit Authority People Mover.

Speaker 2:

Overrated. I don't want more people waiting in line for this.

Speaker 1:

Oh, it's like what.

Speaker 2:

Underrated. This is one of the most underrated attractions in all of Walt Disney World.

Speaker 1:

And I agree.

Speaker 2:

Just, it's a relaxing ride through Tomorrowland, through all the buildings in Tomorrowland. The narrator is awesome. You get to see a portion of the original Epcot Center. You go through Space Mountain, you go through around the Carousel of Progress, you go through Buzz Ranger, lightyear, spin, it's just and you get to see the park from a different view.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, and you get different angles of the castle. I mean there's just so much that you see and it is really relaxing. You know, and I know you've got to keep that line moving and stuff. But I say all the time I wish it was one of those where you could stay on it. But if I mean, if you want to get off at the end, yes, get off, but if but I wish they offered a choice like you could do, like a second trip around.

Speaker 2:

So next time we do it and the doors open up and the cast members are just like no, we pass, no, just pass. You don't think that we're not going to say, just pass.

Speaker 1:

Just pass. But I wish, I wish there was that option. But again, I know you've got to keep the line moving and all that, but I wish if it was, if there ever is a slow day again, but that you could have that option like okay, you know you get two, you know two rounds of it.

Speaker 2:

I mean, they can't forcefully remove you, Can they? I pass, just keep it going, I'm good.

Speaker 1:

But like, but, like Zach said, I mean you're, you're going in or through some of these rides, you know, and then you just get different views of the construction on Tron, you know of the castle. Just very relaxing I. I too enjoy the narrator's voice, so yeah, very good, all right.

Speaker 2:

Next one is Buzz Lightyear's space ranger spin. I said this is overrated.

Speaker 1:

Yeah. So for the this ride in magic kingdom I say overly rated. Now it's very similar to the ride at Hollywood studios. Oh, why am I drawing a blink on that name?

Speaker 2:

Toy Story Mania.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, Toy Story Mania, Um, but I like the one at Hollywood studios better the one here in magic kingdom. I just I don't know. I just feel like for how long the weight is, it's overly rated and what your, what the targets are that you're shooting at. I just don't enjoy them as much as the one in Hollywood studios.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, it's more difficult to know what you're shooting at in this one. Our boys have a really hard time figuring it out, so they don't have a good time when they do it, and the weight for this can get pretty long I mean, if you're talking 45 plus minutes for this, and I just don't think it's as fun as Toy Story Mania. Yeah, the keys kind of okay, you got Buzz Lightyear there, but overall I would say it's not worth that long of a wait.

Speaker 1:

You know the the Q um Toy Story, mania and Hollywood studios. The Q is better, um, again, like he was saying, it's easier. The one in Hollywood studios is easier to figure out than, uh, the one in magic kingdom. So, um, those are our thoughts on all the rides. We got through them all for magic kingdom.

Speaker 2:

We did so. We asked, uh, you the listener, on all of our socials, on Twitter, instagram and Facebook, all at Circle of Parks what y'all thought were overrated attractions and underrated attractions, and that's all I said for overrated the Tomorrowland Speedway thing, so they're blocked.

Speaker 1:

No, I don't even know what that is. He is kidding.

Speaker 2:

I can see if you don't have kids, you're trying to do this. It's you know. It would just be like driving.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, it all depends on who you're with the ages, things like that, and it may be something that we don't enjoy as much once our boys get older, but the ages that they've been, it's just something we've all been able to enjoy.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, because then we're just teaching how to drive.

Speaker 1:

Oh, as I get older yeah.

Speaker 2:

So, and then another listener said Peter Pan's flight. It is just too short of a ride and the line is always crazy for it.

Speaker 1:

Agree.

Speaker 2:

Agree, and for we only had two. So I guess don't be really thinks people's attractions are that overrated, except at I don't know what I'm saying right now. Anyway, all right for under and promptly rated.

Speaker 1:

Are you okay over?

Speaker 2:

there, I'm okay over here.

Speaker 1:

I think you what you were trying to say is you know, maybe those are the only two rides that people think are overly rated and everything else is maybe properly rated in our listeners. Yeah, Thoughts, yeah.

Speaker 2:

For under and promptly rated. One listener said mad tea party and Winnie the Pooh. We'll just have to agree to disagree on that. And one listener said I love the carousel of progress, especially when it's 90 degrees outside. Totally agree, 100%, except on this show. We're not talking about shows.

Speaker 2:

All right, and this episode, but I agree this is one of the most underrated attractions in all of Walt Disney World, in my opinion. I think this is a must Everybody has. If you're going to Magic Kingdom and it's your first time, you should have like a checklist that are must do is your first time.

Speaker 1:

Yes, this is on it.

Speaker 2:

Carousel of progress is a must do.

Speaker 1:

Yes, you should experience it at least once.

Speaker 2:

Another listener said I honestly couldn't say I've been to the Magic Kingdom twice in my life, although I'm moving to work for the mouse in April. Well, congratulations to you? Yes, congrats. I'm more of a Disneyland girl. Well, we'll be going next year.

Speaker 1:

To Disneyland To.

Speaker 2:

Disneyland and I asked this listener once she's there for a few months and has written everything to let us know.

Speaker 1:

Yeah.

Speaker 2:

So congratulations for working. Yes, congratulations, the People Mover is underrated. It's super fun, relaxing and gives you some spectacular views of the park. 100% agree.

Speaker 1:

Yes, okay so now trivia results.

Speaker 2:

I posted a three part question with a bonus question to the winner or who guessed it right or answer the question right in Sweeney's underscore 67 on Twitter was the first person to correctly answer all three parts of the question and they got the bonus question right.

Speaker 2:

So, the question was this week is another three part question. Looking at the picture below which, it is a picture of a submarine imprinted on rocks. What is it? Number two, where in the Magic Kingdom is it located? What number three, what is it a nod to? So the answer number one is the Nautilus picture of the Nautilus number two. It is in the queue for little mermaid.

Speaker 1:

Okay.

Speaker 2:

Number three it is a nod to 20,000 leagues under the sea that fits. The bonus question to this where what attraction is located? Where 20,000 leagues under the sea is was located? Do you know?

Speaker 1:

What was the? What did they answer?

Speaker 2:

Seven dwarfs mind train, and that is correct. So thank you, sweeney's underscore 67. You get absolutely nothing.

Speaker 1:

Yay, you got mentioned on the podcast mentioning being mentioned on the podcast.

When I listen to a Disney podcast, the first expectation I have is that it makes me feel good. After all, disney is supposed to create joy. I've been listening to circle of parks for a few weeks and keep coming back because it makes me smile. As a co-host of a father, father, daughter podcast, I can relate to the banter and differences of opinions on circle of parks. They present a simple yet entertaining format that is enjoyable for both a casual listener and the hardcore Disney fan. Keep up the good work, troy from Disney assembled. Thank you, troy, so much for that great review. And we have been listening to Disney assembled for a few weeks and they have some pretty cool content on there. They talk about parks stuff, but they also talk a lot about shows on Disney plus and movies and some different situations that they kind of discuss. It's really interesting. It's a good podcast. Let's do this, so go check them out. Disney assembled yes. Thank you so much for listening.

Speaker 2:
