Speaker 1:

Welcome back to another episode of the Big Dog Talk podcast. It's me, the one and only Big Charles in the building, baby.

Speaker 2:

Hey y'all, what's up? It's your girl, Big Shea, and I'm back in the building.

Speaker 1:

Yes, lord, yeah.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, yeah, yes, lord, yeah, yeah, yeah. Tell them why we're excited, yeah, lord.

Speaker 1:

Tell them why we're excited. Yeah, glob. Tell them why we're excited, yeah, glob. Tell them why we're excited.

Speaker 2:

You want me to tell them. You can start it off. Well, today is a big day for the Big Dog Talk podcast season two. We are officially recording episode 50. Yay.

Speaker 1:

Ba-ba-ba-ba-ba-ba-ba-ba, ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha. Byron, yeah, yeah, let's go.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, yeah, episode 50,. My boy, how does that feel? Child, I remember sitting in this very seat recording episode one of season two.

Speaker 1:

Yeah.

Speaker 2:

And just remembering. You know, your vision, the vision, the execution, you know and just saying we going after it. You know, and for some, if you don't understand, recording 50 consistent episodes on a podcast is not for the week. Season two, season two 50 episodes is not for the week, not for the week, baby. It's not for the week in Faint at Heart.

Speaker 1:

Hey, it's been a journey, baby. It's been a journey. I just wanted to quit. A month ago. It was a month and probably a month before that it was probably two weeks ago and I just wanted to quit day before yesterday. But we still out here pushing that God energy, pushing people back to their true, authentic, power.

Speaker 2:

We still out here unlearning and relearning and doing all the things Our souls are steady shifting and evolving.

Speaker 1:

While we have this platform, we're not just sharing a journey, we're growing together. This is like the best healing community I've ever been a part of, and my goodness you created it.

Speaker 2:

I did, yeah, glo Kubrin on Kubrin. I, my goodness you created it. I did yeah, glow coobin on coobin, I did, I created and you created it. God is good. So then let me go ahead and bring that back. How does it feel to you to be recording season two, episode five, zero?

Speaker 1:

god is amazing. God is truly amazing. No cap. I am a witness of standing firm in your true authentic power. I'm not slowing down. This podcast can be talking about bullshit. We can be blaming a man, we can be blaming a woman, I can be distracting your mind, but instead I decided to create something that go against the grain, yep, which requires more hard work, more consistency, more discipline. I'm not doing this stuff for entertainment, right? This podcast is mission driven and to stand firm in my true authentic power and to say I'm not slowing down. The world got to catch up.

Speaker 1:

We stand on faith. We stand on family. We stand on fitness, finances and freedom. We stand on self-development. We stand on doing that inner work. We stand on dealing with our darkness. We stand on finding the good, even in the bad outcome. We stand on finding a solution and not just focusing on the problem. We stand on being better than yesterday. We stand on leading people back to their power, their God-given energy. We stand on unlearning and relearning. We stand on healing and building. We stand on reconditioning the mind. Oh my God, god is amazing.

Speaker 2:

You know what. You just went off. You just went off, and rightfully so. But it's so beautiful to be beside you as your co-host, co-star, on this journey, because every day you wake up with intentionality on what can you do to continue to drive the mission of the Big Dog Talk podcast. You wake up with it, you go to sleep with it, you eat with it, you exercise with it. It is embedded in your soul and in your DNA that you figure out ways to connect with the community, the BDT community, but to also continue to grow the community.

Speaker 2:

And it's not easy. It's not easy. That's why, every time you get to this point where you feel like you've hit a brick wall, I let you get out. You know all the things and say all the things and all your frustration. But I know that it ain't time for you to quit. That's the thing. It's not. It's nowhere near time for you to throw in the towel when you hit a roadblock. Throw in the towel when you get creator's block. Throw in the towel when things don't work out the way you want them to work out or the way you envision for them to work out. It's not time for that. It's time for you to continue to keep pushing the mission and the vision forward that God put inside of you for this podcast, and it's bigger than you. I'm so sorry.

Speaker 1:

It's bigger than you side of you for this podcast, and it's bigger than you. I'm so sorry. It's bigger than you. I have to thank you for that, though. Why? Because the mission is bigger than me, and if I wouldn't have a woman, a wife, on side of me, that was very nurturing, not just of me, but of the mission, of the vision. It's been plenty of times that I wanted to quit, and it was just. It was you, my backbone, holding me up, and that's what I love about the power of the woman as well. You have the gift to nurture me. I've wanted to stop millions of times, and I know you're that one person that's going to keep it. Three thousand with me. Okay, it's time to get this up. It's time. No, we got to keep going. You can't quit.

Speaker 2:

And you know what's so hard about that? Because, as your wife, but also your partner in business, it's hard to see you in those moments, because sometimes I want to be like you know what. If it's going to cause all of this, right? If it's going to cause all of this, then you know what. We might need to have another conversation. But that's selfish, right? That's me not liking seeing you going through the trenches. But then I have to check myself and take myself out the equation. And it's not about me either. It's about the calling that's on your life to bring people into a new way of living and understanding life.

Speaker 1:

Right, that's what I love it sucks it, does it does. I remember A guy telling me. He said, Charles, the community that you want to build. It's going to be hard, but you have to keep going. You have to keep going. What you want to create is going to take hard work, but if it comes fast, it'll break down fast.

Speaker 1:

It'll fall down fast, take your time, stay consistent and I'm just grateful because I'm proud of being black. I'm proud of being black, I'm proud of living in the black experience. Absolutely, I'm proud to say I represent the black race. But although I represent the black race, this message is for only one race and that's the human race. Absolutely, absolutely, absolutely.

Speaker 1:

I love being black, I love living in a black body, but the core of us, if you know, you know, yeah, it's deeper than the black race. Yep, it's deeper than the white race. It's deeper than the Hispanic race, the Asian race, it's deeper than that. This message, it travels beyond the physical body. It, it travels beyond the physical body.

Speaker 2:

It's spiritual.

Speaker 1:

This is a spiritual journey.

Speaker 2:

Absolutely. This is a healing community.

Speaker 1:

This is leading us back to our God energy and to be here on the 50th episode. You know what we've been through. Listen. You know what we've been through. Listen. You know what we've been through. Yeah, yeah. To have you on side of me telling me baby, you got to keep going. That's more than everything to me.

Speaker 2:

I was ready to send your ass on a trip.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, you just said it on the last episode. You need to go have a sabbatical.

Speaker 2:

I'm about to say okay, here's the thing. I'm like. You know what? I know this man In two seconds. I'm sending him away from all the things that could be a distraction. I'm sending him away from all the things that could be a distraction. You're going on a sabbatical. If you need time to yourself to recollect, reflect, re-energize, refuel and refocus. That's what we're going to do.

Speaker 1:

But when I said that, you was kind of like okay, no, I don't think I need that. I don't need that Because.

Speaker 2:

I would know. Yeah, but in that moment I feel like 25 hours later you came back and was like I got it. Yeah, I'm back. And can I just say when you came back, you came back better than ever. God, energy, yo, the comeback game, y'all. The comeback game has been man, I can't even put a word to it. The comeback game has been crazy man, I can't even put a word to it. The comeback game has been crazy. Just keep following the podcast.

Speaker 1:

Listen, keep following the podcast, keep following the evolution of the podcast, keep following man listen, keep following. I thank every one of you that's been listening to us and supporting us every single week, growing with us, praying with us, praying for us, supporting us, sending us the inboxes telling us to keep going. Thank you, guys. We have some surprises.

Speaker 2:

Oh my God, we working, but you know what? What is your most proudest moment? Sitting here today recording season two, season two, season two, episode 50. What's your proudest moment moment? Sitting here today recording season two, season two, season two, episode 50? What's your proudest moment, proudest moment, proudest moment with the podcast, with the mission and the vision and everything that you've been doing um, it's I can see like a spiritual change in the evolution of big dog talk podcast.

Speaker 1:

I can see the spiritual change in me, mm-hmm, mm-hmm. And how people are responding to the Big Dog Talk podcast. The verbiage is becoming different.

Speaker 2:

Mm-hmm.

Speaker 1:

The way they carry themselves is becoming different. If you want me to put it on one specific thing.

Speaker 2:

I just want you to answer the question based off of how you you okay are this? Is this a field question? How you? What is your? How do you feel? What's your proudest moment?

Speaker 1:

my, my, so my proudest moment is it's like the. It's not in the physical realm, is that's what it is and it's in. I'm want to break it down, but people can understand it. But it's a spiritual thing. I can see the spiritual shift, right, I can see the soul shift in myself, in you, in the podcast, in the evolution of the soul, the podcast, the business. I can just, I can see it, but I see it spiritually, yeah, and the people that are listening they will start to see it in the physical realm, in the next few weeks or so, in the next few weeks or so, absolutely.

Speaker 1:

Big Dog Talk podcast is a big deal. Yes, is a big deal. Yes, big Dog Talk podcast is a big deal. We are. This energy here is a, is a new birth, is a new birth period To everyone that listened to the podcast. That applies the work, that applies the call to action. If you listen to us and take what's for your soul and you go home and apply it, this is a refreshed, rejuvenating energy and I'm glad to be a part of it. I'm glad to introduce the world to a rebirth, a shift of energy into a deeper self.

Speaker 1:

I am so proud of where this podcast is going and the energy that it's giving people. Yeah, it's causing people to become higher, to be a big dog, to see themselves in a better version of themselves. I am happy about that. Yeah, I'm happy to see the spirit going out into the communities, going out into the world and touching people. I can see it. I see it through the, through the connections that I'm making, yep. I see it through through the it through the connections that I'm making, yep. I see it through the messages that we receive, yep. I see it through the continuous viral moments on social media. Yep, I see it where people are saying. This is the on-time message that I needed to get me out of depression. I see the evolution of the energy shift of the Big Dog Talk podcast, and we are not only bringing a new energy to the Bay Area, we're bringing a new energy to humanity.

Speaker 1:

And I stand on business when I say that. Standing on business, that God energy Leading people back to themselves, empowering people, showing people how to. I stand for inspiration Yep. Bringing people to a higher version of themselves, yep. You explain what you bring to the podcast, what people see, the life that you bring. You bring the fun?

Speaker 2:

Yes, but can we get to me in just a second? Okay, so I asked you a question, so I want to answer that same question and tell you my most proudest moment. No, well, you have to. Let me see that. Oh my.

Speaker 1:

God, my wife always trying to take control of the. You're going to ask me. No, I want to say to you Okay, go ahead.

Speaker 2:

No, I want to say to you that I am extremely proud of watching you step out of your comfort zone. Yeah, yeah, I think that being with you for almost 20 years being husband and wife, being you know the yin and the yang being my best friend, I am watching you now step out and do things that are completely outside of your comfort zone. But the most rewarding part about that to me, as I'm on the outside looking into that, is the benefits of it. So you're stepping outside your comfort zone and you're seeing the results of how that's also changing the trajectory of your mission and your vision for the podcast and it took some time for you to get there. We've been talking about that for about a whole, probably a whole good year on. What I felt was the opportunity behind what you could do next, to grow and stretch. Pointing out my weaknesses the podcast I had to. Yeah, I had to. This is your weakness. This is your weakness.

Speaker 1:

You need to work on that.

Speaker 2:

You should work on that this should be your freaking focus. I don't want to do that. I don't want. You didn't. I don't want to do that you four tooth and nail. I don't want to do that.

Speaker 1:

Until you had to, I was forced to.

Speaker 2:

I literally forced you out the door. Yeah, I don't feel like doing this. Forced you out the door and to see, in such a short amount of time, the way that God is responding to you, doing that Expeditious, it's like a freaking miracle. Expeditious I can't even believe it. Expeditious, it's going crazy. Expeditiously, I can't even believe it. Expeditiously, it's going crazy Expeditiously. So I'm proud of you. Thank you. I'm very proud of you. Thank you, good job.

Speaker 1:

Thank you for pushing me, coach yeah, because you're not just my wife, though, but I always talk about this you are the best entrepreneur I ever saw in my life. You've been an entrepreneur for almost 10 years.

Speaker 1:

This is true, and the wisdom that you have behind business is you have to pay a lot of money to get that knowledge from you. So I got to experience you in your trenches. I got to experience you learning the hard knocks, life lessons of business, because you didn't have a teacher. I didn't Right, right, and I have to say this like on the mic If it wasn't for you and being in that experience with you in the trenches, with you, I wouldn't have had the faith in myself to start my own business. I used to tell you before if I had a business, you would be the one that running Yep, and I would say that I meant it right. But it also was saying how much I didn't believe in myself. Right, and seeing my wife do it, seeing my wife go through the trenches, seeing my wife be a successful entrepreneur, and what it takes to be a successful entrepreneur.

Speaker 1:

I said oh, I have that in me. Yeah, I have that.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, oh, I can do that, yep and what I don't know.

Speaker 1:

I'll figure it out along the journey, and I also have you right here. Yep, and this has been amazing. Yeah, hard, though hard hard, hard hard AF, yeah hard AF literally yeah, exclamation mark.

Speaker 2:

Exclamation mark. Hard AF listen but one thing I realized about our souls you and I, we both have a soul to fight yeah we have souls of like war so thankful to my ancestors, so thank, I'm so thankful to my ancestors for giving me that, that gene, that dna, that core, that, that that soul, because a sister be tired, but a sister gonna get up every day and really fight the new fight each day. Each day is a new fight. Yesterday was yesterday. Go to sleep, wake up, okay, what's up?

Speaker 1:

I feel like you and I some days, like we like in Africa back in the day with our war, I had my sword, I had my sword, I had my shield.

Speaker 2:

You got that little African skirt on, I got my African skirt on.

Speaker 1:

You got your gear on.

Speaker 2:

And it's like let's go, Ah, but baby, when the night comes we falls out Good night. Hold my hand, babe, hold my hand, hold my hand Barely making it, child Barely making it. That's the behind the scenes.

Speaker 1:

That's the behind the scenes. I love it. I love everything about doing it.

Speaker 2:

Same, your aggravating self, your annoying self.

Speaker 1:

I love it. I love everything about it. This gets honored.

Speaker 2:

KF it go crazy, it go crazy. Episode 50. Season 2. Season 2. Season 2.

Speaker 1:
