Meet Prof. Dr. Bernard Canaud at Life/ on air! In this episode, Prof. Dr. Canaud talks about how to improve clinical outcomes for patients undergoing dialysis. He will point out the changes that dialysis administration has gone through in recent years and the importance of complement activation and inflammation in the short term and long term for patient outcomes.
He is currently an Emeritus Professor of Nephrology at Montpellier University School of Medicine, France, and is Senior Chief Scientist at Fresenius Medical Care. He was former president of the Association pour Installation à Domicile des Epurations Rénales (AIDER).
