A lot of us are using wireless headsets today. In the past, we had to be informed, or convinced as to the value and benefits of using a wireless headset. Those days are behind us because most of realize and appreciate the value of a good wireless headset.
In this episode I'll be talking about some new updates to one excellent Bluetooth headset, the Orosound Tilde Pro.
If you're not familiar with this headset, here's a quick recap to let you know a few things about it.
Unlike other headsets, this one is designed, and manufactured in France, the same place the company is located.
It's a Bluetooth wireless model that's designed to be used with computers, and mobile devices, and provides impressive voice sound quality, ear speaker quality, and stellar background noise suppression. All these things are very important when it comes to a headset that will be used in business.
This headset is also modular. That means that you have a choice to personalize it. For example, you can choose:
Some prefer the larger ones so more of the room noise is reduced, which aids concentration. Others don't like that much isolation, and prefer to a smaller fit and feel. Either way, you have the choice, and you can interchange them.
You can also choose to use the boom microphone for optimum sound, or not. If not, there are mics built into the headset that work well.
You also get Active Noise Cancelation (ANC) which gives you 10 levels of control over background noise in your environment. This helps you to not be distracted, and therefore concentrate better.
Aware+ is another feature that prevents the need from removing the headset to have a face to face conversation with someone. Removing a headset for this purpose is estimated to occur up to 10 times per day, 200 times per month, and over 2400 times per year.
The battery provides up to 28 hours of talk time, and you can continue using the headset even when it's plugged in for recharging.
The wireless range is typical for Bluetooth headsets at 100 feet, but actual usable range will more likely be around 50-75, as is the case with other Bluetooth headsets.
With that as the backdrop, what's new?
