Welcome back to 50Talk. This Episode 90 and this week Cathy and I have some fun in store for you all. Fresh off the press machine. I am fresh off an entire weekend of celebration and free food. I want to say thank you to everyone who wished me a Happy Birthday (Marine Corps) and a Happy Veterans Day. Also thanks to our local restaurants who participated in free meals for the Veterans. This was honestly the 1st time I ever participated in this type of Veteran celebration in the thirty somethings years I have been out.
Before we get the show going we first have to talk about what I call "Fake Patriotism", I still think there are a lot of people doing it because a certain person comes off as a fan of the Veterans. My question to all those people who follow that person is, the two can't go together, it's just not possible in my eyes. Listen to our debate and tell me your thoughts. We can't have a Sunday afternoon in the fall and not talk about The Ohio State Buckeyes. We are just off our victory over Michigan St. and also two weeks away from Michigan week. Michigan and the NCAA have decided to suspend the coach for the last three games. Our discussion gets more into what happened and what that means for the kids and this season and last seasons wins.
Cathy and I went to see The Marvels and we have our review o the movie. It looks like other Reviewers are to impressed with the weekends box-office numbers up to friday evening. I always say, "listen or read a lot of reviews and form your own opinion on going to see it". Not everyone has the same opinions on everything.
There was a Republican Presidential Debate this week and as usual it was a complete shit show. From the first moment future President Ramaswamy lit into the Republican Party and the Leader of the Party and it was down hill for him the rest of the debate. He was just upset because Democrats in Ohio just kicked hisParties ass at the polls a few hours before the debate. One more topic on Politics before we close the show is Republican Presidential Candidate Tim Scott. My guy showed off his girlfriend afterwards and Americans and I just have to comment on it.
Cathy and I have started on a new adventure today with Pampered Chef. We will be consultants (mainly her) and hosting an online party all next week. Check out our 50Talk Facebook Page for the link to check things out.
