We are all just off of a Thanksgiving holiday weekend and we hope everything went well in your homes. Things were great at JohnsonKingdom. The kids are still growing up and we all had some great conversation and food.
What did you guys think of some of the days entertainment? We had Cher in the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade and a few other entertainers from the GenZ generation. We also had Dolly Parton on stage during the Dallas Cowboy game in a Dallas Cowboy Cheerleader outfit. I have my own opinions on all of it but let us know what you thought. Saturday was the best day for College football all around the country but here in Ohio we had Ohio State vs Michigan. One of the oldests rivalries in football, but once again it was a loss for my Buckeyes. I give my opinion on the game and on the Coach. We were also out shopping in Columbus on Sunday afternoon and the town was dead! I wonder what that was all about.
There is still some time for the Cyber Monday Deals. Get out there on-line tonight before the sales end. Hit up Best Buys for some good deals. Y'all remember those days when people would eat dinner then go stand in line at their favorite stores in the freezing cold just to trample someone for a Furby? I think those days are over, thank goodness for that. As a guy who can't go shopping after Thanksgiving I love the way it is now.
Former Minneapolis Policeman Derek Chauvin got stabbed in prison. Do you care or should we even give a damn? His Mom thinks y'all should care because he can't be home for Thanksgiving Dinner or to even touch!
How do you know if your kids are growing up or are starting to see life differently? This weekends conversations have got Cathy thinking and she is so proud of what she is seeing, as well as I am to. Seeing your kids grow up is sad in some ways but great in other ways.
Our last two topics are also topics Victor will dive further into on his new podcast called 50Talk.5. I'll be discussing some of the things that I have passion for like the mistreatment of Black and Brown folks. The topics are two black men killed by police. One in Atlanta and the other in Alabama by tasers.
