Welcome to Episode 93 of 50Talk. The hosts are glad that you all could join us again this week. We do have a few things to talk about this week so let's get into it. Cathy and I had a family wedding to attend last weekend in the Pittsburgh area. Your boy has changed over the years since I stopped being a fan of the NFL. I used to hate the thought of going into the enemies area, but I'm past all that. I really did look forward to seeing the area and seeing family.
The Wedding was amazing. Congratulations to David & Marissa, you guys had a beautiful wedding and we hope you all have a long and wonderful marriage. Cathy and I talk a lot about our time in Pennsylvania and the area we stayed in. Latrobe is a nice quiet little town but I was honestly shocked at how small it was.
How do you guys get into the Christmas spirit? Cathy and I have been struggling getting into the Christmas mood. I thought it was all taken care of just by listening to Christmas Music but we need more. We do have the "Glover Christmas Party" coming up in a week or so and we are both looking forward to that. We also get into our/mine mental state with it being the 2nd Anniversary of the passing of my oldests brother. It's been tough seeing the sky and outside look like it did when he passed and also the memories of putting my Mom in a nursing home. I know I'm not the only one struggling but it feels good to talk about everything.
The main conversation of this episode is what's going on in "The Great State of Florida" with Ron DeSantis and his merry band of Republican crazies. You are never gonna believe this story. As we talked about this we are obviously talking our way through understanding it all. The craziness with these Republicans is insane!
