In 2010, Freedom Firm heard about a large and notorious red-light district in Nagpur, over 450 miles from our field office in Pune. Our team went to investigate and was shocked to discover children as young as 11–15 standing openly for sale in the streets. 

Asha began as Freedom Firm's first social worker in Nagpur, and today she oversees our Nagpur Regional Office. Evan served with Freedom Firm India for 7 years, both as Legal Coordinator and Director of Field Work.
