My guest on A Gluten Free Podcast today is Erin Smith from New York City. We’ll talk about Erin’s early coeliac disease diagnosis, her advocacy work, travelling gluten free overseas and what the coeliac and gluten free community means to her.
Erin was diagnosed with Coeliac Disease in 1981 at just 2 years old. She has been eating gluten free almost her entire life and has a unique perspective of growing up in the gluten free community. She is passionate about sharing her experiences and gluten free expertise with others.
Erin has traveled to 37 states, 23 countries and 3 continents while being 100% gluten-free! When she’s not globe-trotting Erin is also a huge advocate for the coeliac and gluten free community being lead organizer of the NYC Celiac Disease Meetup Group.
