Nurturing your Child’s Relationship with Trusted Adults
Summer usually entails relaxation, fun activities, and making up for lost time with loved ones. Maybe your child has a trip to grandma’s on the calendar or a sleepover at their aunt’s house. Maybe your family is gearing up for the annual family reunion!
You know your child. It is important to make sure that trusted adults in your child’s life know your child too.
On this week’s episode of the podcast, we are discussing how to prepare extended family and loved ones to interact with your child. I am going to provide you with the proactive measures you as a caregiver can take to help your child develop meaningful relationships with the other trusted adults in their life.
Having many different relationships with different trusted adults is crucial to your child’s development; this will provide them with multiple safe spaces, and many different perspectives that will inform and influence how they perceive the world around them.
Let’s prepare both your child and relatives to foster a safe and secure relationship this summer!
