This is the inspiring story of our podcast guest, Samuel Baraka, a former rugby player who turned a homemade nutritional and energy booster he learned from his grandmother into a value addition agribusiness venture. Samuel Baraka is the founder of Natural Barakah. His company initially started processing a unique combination of groundnuts and sesame seeds into delicious and healthy peanut butter. The company’s range of products has grown to include other valued added products, processed from cashew nut, flax seeds, honey and jaggary.

 In this first part of the interview, Samuel Baraka starts by narrating his entrepreneurial journey of how  mentors and family members not only encouraged him in the early start up phase of his business but also pushed him beyond his comfort zone to create  unique products that are competitive and stand out.
