Mark Lazar began his involvement in Jewish Education in 1973. During a twenty-year period, he was affiliated with numerous supplementary and day schools, as well as Camp Ramah in California, the University of Judaism and the Bureau of Jewish Education in Los Angeles. He served as educational and youth director of Temple Beth Haverim, a Conservative Synagogue in Agoura Hills, California.
