If this is you, read further and listen to this podcast. It will jump-start and deepen your experience.
Meditation is an age-old contemplative practice that has two aims. The first is to improve the quality of day-to-day life – less stress, reactivity, distress, suffering, and enhancing well being. The second, and most profound aim, is to enable us to go beyond our ordinary mind and life to a natural and true Self that allows for the full actualization of the human possibility, that proverbial “more to life,” the great treasures of human life. This requires an approach that is direct, simple, and cuts through the overactive mind
In this episode we will learn about the two aims of meditation . This session and the following nine sessions will teach the practice of directly cutting through to the heart of meditation. This is the next evolution of meditation in the West. There are some experiences that naturally evolve over time. The meeting with our natural self and the awakening to a larger life is here, right now, already, and always. It requires no preparation, no preliminaries, no putting off until another day.
I suggest you practice each episode for one week and then progress to the next.
