The Latter-day Disciples Podcast
The Latter-day Disciples are pleased to present weekly podcasts, blogs, online classes, virtual conferences, and more to help you boldly embody the gospel, recognize the signs of the times, and prepare to receive Jesus Christ.
Meghan Farner is a lifelong disciple of Jesus Christ, her most favorite thing in the world being deep doctrinal conversations. She openly advocates the practice of fearlessly seeking truth out of all places the spirit may lead, while being immovably grounded in Jesus Christ. Her background in business, communications, psychology, and human relations, along with her personal studies of scripture, apocrypha, ancient history, and other faith traditions, make her a renaissance woman, and an engaging hostess and presenter. Meghan and her family live in East Idaho.

Ep. 11 | Elect Ladies with Linda Stacey
Sister Linda Stacey joins Meghan to discuss the unique and important role of women in the last days. Their conversation runs the gambit from some of the challenges and distractions specifically targeting women, to how we will accomplish our especial responsibilities in the time before the Savior returns. Linda shares her thoughts on the words of our modern prophets as they have repeatedly and powerfully taught the importance of God's daughters in the final dispensation. Women and the priesthood, social media, giving ourselves grace, preparing our perspective for the days ahead - all of it is in this episode!
Linda is originally from Utah and is the oldest of six children. She graduated in Elementary Education from Brigham Young University and taught for a few years. She has always been passionate about children's needs and their safety. Recently, she helped a good friend manage her orphanage in Liberia, Africa. She also spent several years on the board for the Larimer County Child Advocacy center and helped develop a curriculum for elementary schools in Fort Collins, Colorado. In 2013, Linda piloted Justserve.org for the church in Colorado.
Linda and her husband are the parents of 4 strong, talented daughters, and have 6 grandchildren. She has spent many many years serving particularly in the Young Women program, as well as Relief Society. She and her husband were recently called as mission presidents and will soon lead the Canada Toronto mission.
Linda loves little humans, animals, nature, skiing, chocolate, random dance parties, the muppets and playing the piano, as well as occasionally fly fishing with her husband.
