Do you feel like you identify with your heritage? Have you ever been ostracised because of the way you look?  What are some of the different cultures you grew up with? Do you know what the red flags are for an abusive relationship?

These are some of the questions we dive into in this episode, with our guest Antoinette. We go on a journey of Antoinette's challenges growing up in Zimbabwe, and moving to different parts the world. What it was like growing up with a big family, but still not feeling like you identify with your own heritage. Also, how coming from a big family can overlook the abuse that was hiding in plain sight. Melanie shares her own story of being in a grooming situation, and we all discuss the ways we can become stronger people through experiencing trauma.
