Hello, friends. I'm doctor Jen Bennett. We are in the midst of our she impacts culture devotional series with guest host, Corrie. We are exploring the intersection of faith and impact, drawing inspiration from our previous episodes. But more than that, we'll embark on a journey of spiritual renewal and activation. Join me as we take a pause from the noise of the world, sip from the well of encouragement, and center ourselves in devotion and prayer. Each episode will feature a snippet from a past conversation followed by a devotional designed to uplift your spirit and ignite your purpose. So whether you're in need of a word of affirmation, a moment of prayer, or simply seeking guidance, this series is here for you. Friends, get comfortable, open your heart, and let's dive into the she impacts culture devotional series. If you want to be influential, then choose to be credible first. Do your work with excellence. Be skilled in your work. Don't be afraid to be an expert and be known for all the right reasons. You see, God has given you a sphere of influence, and I believe that God has called each of us to be influential for the right reasons. This prayer devotional corresponds to the She Impacts Culture Episode #49 Want to Be Influential? With Dr Jen Bennett Do you see any truly competent workers? They will serve kings rather than working for ordinary people. Proverbs 22 verse 29, taken from the NLT. Heavenly Father, we come before you calling us to impact culture for the glory of your kingdom. We acknowledge that our work is an opportunity to reflect your excellence, and we ask for your guidance to be skilled and to serve with competence. Help us not to shy away from becoming experts in our field, being known for all the right reasons that bring honour to your name. We thank you, Lord, for the truth that you have entrusted us with influence to make a positive difference in the world around us. We pray for wisdom and discernment May we seek to uplift and inspire others, pointing them to the hope and purpose found in you. We thank you, Lord, for the truth that you have entrusted us with influence to make a positive difference in the world around us. We pray for wisdom and discernment and utilizing our influence for the right reasons, in line with your will and purpose. May we seek to uplift and inspire others, pointing them to the hope and purpose found in you. Father, we ask that you transform our hearts and minds so that our influence always stems from credibility and humility. Help us to your character of excellence, kindness, and integrity in all that we do. May our lives be a reflection of your grace and love, drawing others closer to you through our words and actions. Amen. Ask yourself the question, how can I use my influence to positively impact those around me? And what steps can I take to grow in credibility and excellence? As you go through your week, I encourage you to do these three things. 1st, reflect. Take time to reflect on Proverbs 22 verse 29, meditating on ways to serve with competence and excellence in your sphere of influence. 2nd, engage. This week, engage with the people you encounter by seeking opportunities to uplift and inspire others through your words and actions. Look for ways to genuinely encourage and support those around you. And finally, pray. Here are 3 ways you can pray. Pray for wisdom and discernment in using your influence for the right reasons in accordance with Pray for others in your sphere of influence, that they may also be positively impacted by your credibility and excellence, leading them closer to God's grace and love.
