Climate Change - Historical changes in the Earth's climate

A short introduction is followed by an examination of methods used to determine past climates and the natural causes for these changes in climate. Examining astronomical factors as well as more earth-bound factors which can influence the climate. 
Pollen analysis, dendrochronology and isotope analysis are explained.
