Commercial ethics: Process or Outcome?
Nov 06, 2008

There are inherent paradoxes in commercial ethics. Rigid tendering processes should make it hard to corrupt procurement exercises, but often also drive out innovation and thought. Innovation, such as new technology, can help make the world a better place; but technology can also be deployed by the unscrupulous for ill. This lecture explores the philosophy behind commercial ethics with examples of real world commercial ethical issues.
