BELIEVE ON THE LORD JESUS CHRIST

1 Samuel 17:12 NKJV exposes what God is about to do.  “Now David was the son of that Ephrathite of Bethlehem Judah, whose name was Jesse, and who had eight sons. And the man was old, advanced in years, in the days of Saul.”

God wants us to understand that He is indeed in charge. He’s the one that determines who is going to be exalted, and who is going to be put down. God was disgusted with King Saul because of the things that he was doing, things that he was saying, and his anger was not at all pleasing to God. And so God chose someone else to replace King Saul. A son of Jesse, from Bethlehem, in Judea. God wants you to know … He wants me to know … He wants all of us to know that He is indeed in charge. And so when God determines to lift you up, be ready to go full speed forward to share the glorious Gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ with every person you possibly can. Because God knew what He was doing, knows what He’s doing, knows what He’s going to do. So be willing to be put up, or to be put down if you displease God.
