Paul is writing to the church at Colossae. He said, “Since we heard of your faith in Christ Jesus and of your love for all the saints.” That’s Colossians 1:4 NKJV.
We’ve heard some things about you, too, listeners to this broadcast. We’ve heard that you have put your faith and trust in Jesus Christ, many of you. And we’re thrilled that we have the privilege of connecting with one another. And we’re glad that you have a love for all the saints, for all the fellow believers in Christ. But we hope you will also have a love for the unbelievers, for those who have not yet come to know Him whom to know aright is life eternal. So the Gospel goes forth. And you can share God’s good news with people – people in your neighborhood, people even under your own rooftop, people who come in contact with you or you with them on a daily basis, or at least a weekly basis. Pray for them first, and then go with the Gospel. Watch God work wonderfully in the hearts and lives of others, because you are faithful. Your faith in Jesus Christ and your love for all the saints is remarkable. But keep it happening. Keep close to the Lord. Keep reaching out to those who don’t yet know Him. God can make you usable, and He is willing to use you, if you are willing.
