“No one engaged in warfare entangles himself with the affairs of this life, that he may please him who enlisted him as a soldier.” 2 Timothy 2:4 NKJV
We’re at war – at war with Satan and all his cohorts. But we need to be in God’s army, participating in the way that we can reach others with God’s plan of salvation. What about you? What’s happening in your world? Are you ready to go and tell people how to get to heaven: to admit that they’ve sinned; to believe on Christ, to confess Him publicly? That’s God’s plan for you and for me and for every other believer. Unbelievers will never know how to get to heaven unless someone who is already headed there can tell them the truth. Will you do that? God wants us to know that “no one engaged in warfare entangles himself with the affairs of this life, that he may please him who enlisted him as a soldier.” Are you serving as a soldier in God’s army? Are you doing the things that God would have you to do? Are you going to places God would have you to go? Are you telling the people God would have you to tell? I hope so. I know that you will be used of God, if indeed you are a part of God’s army. Go with the Gospel today. Someone is waiting for you to tell them the truth. Will you? It’s totally in your hands. It’s up to you.
