Katie Moran

Sophie Delfeus is a passionate advocate for personal growth, community, and cultural immersion. She is the Founder and CEO of Cultivating the Collective, a visionary company with a mission to end loneliness by creating immersive experiences that foster community and provide tools for living purposefully. Sophie’s  journey is rooted in her extensive experience creating spaces of support beginning with first generation college students as a first year at Amherst College.

Cultivating the Collective specializes in crafting multi-night group trips, immersive day experiences, retreat coordination for entrepreneurs and their communities, and conference design. Their innovative approach not only strengthens individuals but also empowers communities, with a commitment to giving back through supporting local business owners. With nearly three in five U.S. adults considered lonely and social isolation impacting lives and workplaces, Cultivating the Collective's work is more crucial than ever.

A writer and facilitator, she leans on language and dialogue to make meaning of life and her lived experiences while helping others do the same.  In her spare time, you can find her taking photos and collaging.
