Survivors Traveling Lightly

Are you dealing with hurt from trauma in your life, but you are looking forward to feeling better? Are you looking for who you are after you have lost track of the person you are to be? Survivors Traveling Lightly will help you find ways to heal, people to help you heal, and then a path to discover who you are in this part of your life. Guests, along with myself, will discuss how we have recovered and found our thing or things we love to do. We will pick topics of interest to find out how to get involved and start doing that activity near you. A community of others who have traveled or are traveling through similar situations will come together to support one another, bring encouragement, and pray together if you want to join. I, Annette Renee, have traveled this road, and I have spent this year finding what lights me up, what makes me a better me, and finding my people to connect with, laugh with, and grow with as we walk side by side in this life.

Welcome our guest Mary Kay consultant Laura Dillender. Laura and I discussed self-care both using Mary Kay products and other types of self-care. Laura told us about the adventure her family just returned from, and also about Mary Kay as a job as well as a community.

Laura Dillender was born and raised in the Kansas City, MO area and still lives there today. She has been married to my Dallas native husband, Scott, for 12 years and they have 2 kiddos here on earth - Mazie (9) and Etta (2), and 4 children we will meet someday in heaven - an early miscarriage (2016), Georgia (lost at 19 weeks in 2017), and twin girls: Alva and Claire (lost at 17 weeks in 2018). They also have a 12 year old dog named Minnie.

Laura has been building her Mary Kay business for 8 years now. Laura became a Sales Director in January of 2021 and earned the use of my 1st Career Car at the same time.
