Bold Enough to Stand

What is the difference between being bold and being brash? Which of the two can be done with humility? The Bible tells us to be bold and always act in humility, and it also tells of many instances where God punished individuals for being brash. Boldness comes from a firm foundation of principles, whereas brashness often comes from being insecure. The great thing is that we don't have to come from a place of insecurity when we lean on the absolute security of Jesus Christ, and boldly step into His calling on our life. For He always equips those whom He calls.
