Archie Montgomery, avid reader, vintage gun collector and incurable curiosity for most things!

Archie Montgomery, born in Dodge City Kansas, raised in Portland, Oregon and now resident of Hastings, Nebraska has worn many hats over the years and enjoys lots of hobbies!

 One of his hobbies where I first met Archie was at the Blue Moon cafe having his breakfast and drinking coffee. I also have the hobby of drinking coffee so our first conversation was a very enjoyable one.
 We then discussed his time in the Marine Corp, Boarder Patrol, U.S. Customs and all the people he meet who were coming back into the country, such as Lauren Bacall and Don Rickles.

Next  we then went on to talk about his interest in Reading, Science  and Biblical Scripture!

We then discussed what was of most interest to me... his collection of guns and vintage guns! 
The history, the trials and errors of a manufacture getting a gun to work and having a first gun sale was amazing!
