Atle Vårvik is the Founder and creator of MOT. When he stepped down both as MOT’s leader and entrepreneur, MOT was one of Norway’s most important and beneficial brands and spread to four continents.
Atle is a former elite athlete in speed skating. He is Norwegian champion and Olympian – and in 1994, he was ranked among the 8 best speed skaters in the world.
In 2015, Atle received the Honorary Award from the Norwegian Confederation of Sports for spreading values in the society and for his work with MOT, and in 2014, he got one of Norway’s greatest leadership and value awards – the Reitan Group’s “Årets Ladejarl”.
