The Sucky Sisterhood Podcast: Interviews with Miscarriage and Infant Loss Survivors

Slaying the Stigma with Ashley Alexander

Ashley Alexander Season 3 Episode 26

In this episode, we sit down with Ashley Alexander, the Founder and President of Parker's Purpose Foundation in Waco, TX. Ashley shares her personal story of loss and grief, and how she and her husband Mark channeled their pain into creating something positive for other families who experience loss. We learn about the work that Parker's Purpose does to support families who have experienced the loss of a child, including providing Caring Cradles, stuffed animals, and care packages at local hospitals.

Ashley also talks about the importance of breaking down the stigma surrounding grief and loss. Despite the challenges of running a foundation and raising three children, Ashley remains committed to her mission of ensuring that every hospital in Texas has a Caring Cradle for loss families.

Join us as we chat with Ashley about her journey, the impact of Parker's Purpose Foundation, and how we can all work together to support families experiencing loss.
