Lesson 13: You Are Unlimited Spirit
Section 3: Cultivating Unlimited Consciousness
Paragraphs: 9-15

Have you ever wondered if the barriers holding you back were merely illusions you've constructed? That's what we're unraveling today, guided by the profound teachings from Jeshua in the Way of Mastery.

We're journeying into the heart of our Unlimited Spirit, challenging the sense of confinement we often accept as reality. As we delve into the art of forgiveness, we reveal how these self-created obstacles to love can be dismantled, leading to the true freedom that resides within us all.

This episode is an enlightening exploration of consciousness, as we strip away the labels—those identifiers that can confine our sense of self—and return to the core of our being, where the simple statement "I am" resonates with infinite possibilities.

By embracing these principles, we begin to recognize the limitless potential each of us holds, freeing ourselves from the constraints of temporary identities and experiences.

Speaker 1:

Hello and welcome back to the Daily Study of the Way of Mastery. I'm Jason Amoroso, your guide and friend, and today we continue with Lesson 13,. You Are Unlimited Spirit, section 3, cultivating Unlimited Consciousness. Where Jeshua says or asks so what occurs in the consciousness that seems to create the blockage, the obstacle to love's presence? As you create a temporary perceived limitation as a way to call to you a certain quality of experience, there is a tendency to fall into the trap of identifying yourself with the constraints that you have set up from your unlimited freedom in order to have a temporary learning experience. When, in your consciousness, you come to be identified with the boundaries or the constraints, the lines upon the canvas that you have freely chosen to draw, you create an imprisonment. That imprisonment is actually a complete illusion and in reality, your unlimited capital S self goes on experiencing anything it wants throughout all dimensions of creation. There's a lot here to unpack, but let's dive in. Just even the question makes me think. The question is so what occurs in the consciousness that seems to create? That seems it doesn't actually create a blockage, it just seems to create the blockage, the obstacle to love's presence, meaning your experience of love. And it makes me think about the Rumi quote and A Course in Miracles. Seek not for love, for that's your natural state, but seek for the obstacles that you have built up against love and remove them through forgiveness, and then you will experience your natural state. So we are love. We create these blocks and obstacles, which are the creation of the blocks, are just um thoughts, they're misunderstandings, they're lower frequency vibration beliefs that were thoughts that were valuing and buying into and making important and experiencing the effects of that which is the block to love.

Speaker 1:

So anyways, j Jeshua says as you create a temporary perceived limitation as a way to call to you a certain quality of experience. So this paragraph is saying we are creating temporarily to have a temporary learning experience. We're creating a perceived limitation. It's not an actual limitation. So, for example, if you feel, let's say, you want to learn at a deep soul level, you want to experience even more the limitless abundance that is life itself, that it is unlimited abundance, more than enough, more upon more upon more. There's no scarcity at all. If you want to experience that, then you might create the perceived limitation temporarily, of lack, but to the soul, in truth, that's such a ridiculous concept and idea of lack. It's an impossibility in spirit, because spirit is unlimited and omnipotent, the only power, and vast and omnipresent, all present, it is everything. And omni-intelligent, omniscient, all-knowing. So you're creating a perceived, temporary perceived experience of lack for yourself. But jesus was saying because you want to call that quality of experience as a temporary learning experience.

Speaker 1:

But he says there's a tendency to fall into the trap of identifying yourself with the limitation that you set up and and why did you set it up? Or how did you set it up? For your unlimited freedom. This is your power. You are pure consciousness, with the power inherently to create. You're not like I'm going to create today, no, you are creative consciousness, let's put it that way. You can't help but create, because that is what you are. So and you're free to create whatever you want. That's, that's free will, that's love.

Speaker 1:

So, from the unlimited power and freedom to create whatever, you have decided to create a perceived temporary limitation, let's say lack, to then have a learning experience. But the trap and the mistake that you fall into, we fall into the ego is to identify yourself with that limitation, with lack. Oh, I am lack, I'm going to create a temporary learning experience of feeling unworthy. That's ridiculous in truth, but for this small sake of learning, I'm going to forget who I am, go through the veil of forgetfulness and I'm going to create an experience of me being unworthy, so that I can then learn and experience my own worthiness even deeper and more and remember again, but fall into the trap of identifying I am unworthy, I am lack, I am separate. We can all relate to these feelings.

Speaker 1:

When, in your consciousness, jeshua says you come to be identified with the boundaries or the constraints, you identify as lack, as unworthiness. But you painted the picture, the lines upon the canvas that you freely chose to draw, and then you feel like you create a prison for yourself. I'm stuck in this identity as lack. I am not enough, I am inherently lacking. That imprisonment is actually a complete illusion. It's like you're in a cage but there's no door. You can go freely out of the cage anytime you want and actually the bars of the cage are actually just a hologram, but you think they're solid, you think you're stuck in it and you don't even realize that you created the hologram of a cage in the first place. No one did it to you. Life's not testing you. Your soul created it temporarily as for a learning experience, but you thought you were in the cage. Look at your life. So here's practicality. Now, where do you feel trapped? Where do you feel imprisoned, in a way by life or by yourself, my own neurosis, my own anxiety? I feel trapped by my own helplessness.

Speaker 1:

Jeshua is saying that, and this is an empowering, loving message, that there is no cage, there is no trap. This is just temporary. It's a perceived limitation that you create, and if you could create it, you can uncreate it or you can create something else. You can return to reality whenever you want. This is the good news. But we're so convinced that it's real. We're so asleep that we think it's real. That's why we need this message over and over and over again, and we can hear it at an intellectual level, but we really have to hear it at a soul level.

Speaker 1:

And Jeshua says that imprisonment, it's a complete illusion and in reality, your unlimited capital S self goes on experiencing anything it wants throughout all dimensions of creation. This is just a very tiny, infinitesimal aspect of your capital S greater self. That is, having this human experience right now of separation, of feeling like you're a body-mind. That's it Again to our brain. This makes no sense and it's a very big stretch to even consider because it goes against everything our five senses and consensus the world is telling us. That's why this message is radical and that's why it opens our mind to the degree that we are willing to allow it to open our mind.

Speaker 1:

Some people fully accept this, other people very skeptical. Other people aren't ready at all to even consider this idea. It's insane. And maybe it takes them 10 years, 20 years, 10 lifetimes, 20 lifetimes to even open up to this idea. But in the end, in timelessness, it doesn't matter how long it takes and in truth, you never left your home anyway. All paths lead to Rome, as they say, all paths lead home. So Jeshua continues your belief that you are defined by the lines you have drawn in the field of consciousness, the pebbles you have dropped, the ripples you've created. That that is only you creates a constriction, a density and a conflict. This is occurring nowhere in your being, except in that part of you that has extended itself like a sunbeam from the sun into what you call your space-time dimension. Beautiful paragraph.

Speaker 1:

So let's look at this. It's your belief. It's not objective fact, it's what you experience, what you believe, and a belief is just a thought that you've given value to and invested in over and over and over again. The second you take value out of and stop investing in a thought, you shift your belief, you shift your experience and then usually you take that energy that you were investing in one thought and you put it into something else. That I'm safe, that I'm loved, that I'm supported by life, that life is happening for me. All of a sudden, your experience changed because the belief that I'm a victim of life and I'm at the mercy of life and I have to battle and fight just to survive, that's one belief that creates an experience. When you remove the value you've placed on that and you put it in something else, you then change your experience. So your belief that you are defined by the limitations that you have created.

Speaker 1:

So the field of consciousness, the quantum field, is just. It's just a neutral energy. It is the energy of life that creates. It's just. You can't see it, it's the quantum field and all it does is say yes. So if you have a belief or a thought, you drop a pebble into the quantum field. The quantum field just says yes and brings it back to you and creates it for you. How amazing is that, how mind-blowing is that? So we create, we drop a pebble of.

Speaker 1:

Let me have a temporary learning experience of lack, that I'm not enough, that I'm lacking, that life is lacking and somehow I have to go get it. And I'm going to have that experience and create that experience so I can remember and wake up to the amazing glory that there is no, that spirit is unlimited, that I am truth and unlimited. And waking up to that is going to be so much fun and I'm going to even expand ever more in this understanding and my power to create. And it's going to be so much fun and I'm going to even expand ever more in this understanding and my power to create. And it's going to be incredible. But for now, let me create this experience of lack. And then we forget. We created the lack from the power of our consciousness to create, to drop that pebble.

Speaker 1:

And when we believe that, that I'm only, that, this is only you, it creates a constriction, a density, a conflict. Oh, this is all I am. Why does it create a conflict or a density or a constriction? Because it's not true. It's not true that you're in lack ever. Not one iota of that is true. When we believe it. We constrict, but we're not at the victim to the constriction. We can expand at any moment. That's what this teaching is.

Speaker 1:

And Jeshua says this is occurring. This whole thing is occurring nowhere in your being except in a tiny, tiny, tiny little part of you that has extended itself into what you call space-time dimension. That's it, a tiny part of you that you don't even realize is a tiny part of you. You think it's the whole of you has extended itself, has created into space-time dimension to have this experience. That's the only place it's occurring. It hasn't changed reality at all. It hasn't changed truth at all. It hasn't changed truth at all.

Speaker 1:

And he continues oh, this is like, right, I made this note in the margins. It's like if a painter painted the painting and said I made this painting, this painting is me and it's only me. This painting is me. No, you're the painter, you're the one who painted it, you're not the painting. But the painter feels imprisoned, saying I am the painting, this is what I am, the painting. But you forget that you are the creator. You're the painter, not the painting. Oh, I like that analogy and that came through when I was reading. That's why I made a note of it. I'm glad I read it.

Speaker 1:

So think about this. This is your life, think about your experience right now. This is one human experience that you've had amongst probably thousands and thousands of lifetimes that you've incarnated as a human being. It's just one, that you've incarnated as a human being. It's just one. But again, we forget, we don't.

Speaker 1:

And some kids, some kids are born and they remember. Oh, I remember in my past life I was a World War II pilot. And then they go do the research and like all the details that this kid who's like I don't know seven or eight is talking about actually happened. There were things they would have no clue. They're saying, oh, I was this guy in this war and this happened to me. And then researchers go and look it up and they're like holy crap, that actually happened. How did he know that? Or how did she know that Right? So sometimes soul plan chooses to remember certain things. But your whole life is a painting. It makes me think about John Wooden, the legendary UCLA men's basketball coach, great teacher, great, much wisdom. He has the wooden pyramid of success and he says make every day your masterpiece. So you're a painter, make it your masterpiece. You're a composer, make it your masterpiece, instead of thinking, oh, poor me and I can't do this, and the world's not.

Speaker 1:

I love the quote by George Bernard Shaw. You know, dedicate your life to a mighty purpose, not being a sniveling clod of ailments and complaints. That's what so much of our experience can be a sniveling little clod of ailments and complaints. Life's not giving me what I want. Oh, and it's not because of me. It's because of my parents, it's because of their trauma from their grandparents. And I'm just an effect. I'm at the mercy of my whole lineage down the line. No, you're not a victim of anything, of your race, of your color, of your gender, of your time period. I'm a victim of modern technology now and the internet and the social media. And it not my fault I have adhd. First of all, it's never about fault, it's about responsibility. But it's not being a victim to the world.

Speaker 1:

You see for you, you are consciousness and you get to create a different experience yourself in each moment, and the way is showing us how, and it takes practice and it takes patience, and it takes commitment and consistency, like anything. So Jeshua continues. Now think about this If you feel constrained in this dimension, it does not mean that you are constrained. It simply means that one tiny ray of your light is temporarily having a certain kind of experience. If you trace that ray of light back to its source, capital S source, you find something brighter than 10,000 of your Sun's, something far more vast than the Sun that lights your physical universe. Of course, he's talking about source God, life, love, creation.

Speaker 1:

Think about this. This is important, especially in our world right now, where everything is given over to our reactive feeling of the day. Well, I don't feel like it. Or you made me feel this way, you made me feel like a victim, so I am a victim. No, if you feel constrained in this dimension, it does not mean that you are constrained.

Speaker 1:

Now, feelings are the gateway to the kingdom, meaning allow your feelings, have your feelings, but when you identify with your feelings, that's where you get stuck, that's where you create limitation, because you're identifying with a very temporary experience. So feelings I don't know if this is going to be the right thing to say, but I'll just say feelings are not facts, feelings are temporary emotion, energy in motion, emotion, emotion, energy in motion. So if you feel constrained, it doesn't mean that you are constrained because you are always free. You're so free you can create the experience of being limited. It simply means that one this is so important one tiny ray of your light, which I then made a note and said in quotes me.

Speaker 1:

What I think is me is just one tiny ray of my light. How fucking amazing is that? How beautiful, how glorious, how powerful, how vast is that? That who you think you are is just a tiny ray of light to who you really are. And we're just asleep and we're waking up. And as we wake up, my experience is I embody more and more light, through meditations, through nature, through life, through living life, through revelation, breathwork. I just expand in the light that I am and that I hold and that I express and that can move through me.

Speaker 1:

I make my conduit from like the straw. Think of a straw how much liquid that can go through a tiny straw? Not much. Even a cocktail straw, even less. And then like a regular straw, a little more. And then think of like a giant container, like a big pipe, even more, and just continue. Like the Grand Canyon how much water can pass through the Grand Canyon? Even more. And so we just get bigger and bigger and bigger.

Speaker 1:

We are conduits for light and love to express in, as and through us. But we make that conduit tighter when we buy into the ego, to the fear, when we believe in fear and doubt and lack and all these illusions and falsehoods. So just one tiny ray of your light is temporarily having a certain kind of experience as a human being, in a body thinking, forgetting that you're a body-mind. There's so much more. And if you trace that tiny ray of light back to its source, bam, biggity-bam, brighter than 10,000 of your suns, more vast than the sun, more vast than the sun that lights your physical universe. It's so vast that out of it has come forth a multitude of universes.

Speaker 1:

He, of course, is talking about soul and source, and he says in the next paragraph that light of your soul, pure spirit, remains undefiled and unlimited. That tiny ray can become aware of the whole, and that is the process of awakening. Underline exclamation, point asterisk that tiny ray can become aware of the whole, and that is the process of awakening. It doesn't really change anything at all, since you begin to become identified, not with the tiny little ray that is having a temporary experience, but that field out of which the very power to experience the space-time dimension is coming forth. So you shift your focus from identifying as a tiny little separate self, the tiny little ray. You shift your identity from that to the field, to life itself, to God itself, to creation itself. God is the field, life is the field. The creator is the field, the quantum field that all things arise from and create out of the source that anything in existence, and if it's not an existence, by definition, it doesn't exist. So everything in existence comes from this source. That is beyond comprehension. This is amazing. This is beyond comprehension. This is amazing. This is so beautiful. Let your heart hear this.

Speaker 1:

This is why, in A Course in Miracles, it talks about how nothing actually happened. The crucifixion didn't actually happen. The bad things you think you did, that define, you didn't actually happen. Now some people can use this as spiritual bypass because they intellectualize it. Well, that person, they didn't really abuse me, that didn't really happen. And they repressed and they suppressed the emotions of being abused and they intellectualize it away as a way to not feel their emotions. So they acknowledge that it happened.

Speaker 1:

But again, it's intellectual. It's like closed off from the emotion, the energy of it. They don't let it pass through. So it sits and it festers the energy of it. They don't let it pass through. So it sits and it festers, and so often it can manifest in all different ways, from emotional manifestations of anger outbursts and rage to depression, to suicidal ideations, to whatever diseases, cancers, other ailments of the body. It's just expressing in a different way when you don't let that emotion, that energy out. Let that emotion, that energy out. So, and none of that changes who you are.

Speaker 1:

Your human experience cannot even touch your soul. In reality, your soul is undefiled and unlimited forever, and this tiny ray that you've temporarily identified yourself as it can become aware of the whole. This is the message of Christ, this is the message of Jesus, of any enlightened being, that you are the very life of life, you're the very love of life and light itself made manifest, and you can become aware of this. The wave can say holy shit, I am actually the ocean. I'm a temporary, unique manifestation, creation of the ocean itself, but this means I am water, and this is the process of waking up. This is what we're doing, hallelujah.

Speaker 1:

It doesn't really change anything at all when you think you're the tiny little ray, the separate self since you become, you begin to become identified, not with the tiny ray, having a temporary experience. Your experience is temporary in this body and thinking. You're a human being, but that field you become identified with the quantum field, with God itself, that this is what you are, and the quantum field just says yes to whatever you pebble, you drop, it just says yes. That's how loving it is. So Jeshua continues imagine shifting your identity so that you are the ocean from which a multitude of waves are coming forth and continually coming forth, each one slightly different, each one a little larger or smaller, a little faster, each one with a little more foam in it than the other. These are the very temporary dancing waves being emitted from a field or an ocean of water that neither knows beginning nor end and whose far shores cannot be discovered.

Speaker 1:

Vast beyond comprehension, this analogy again, of the ocean and the waves. Imagine shifting your identity so that you are the ocean from which the waves end. You are created as a wave, you are made in the image and likeness of the ocean and you have all the same image and likeness, you have all the same creative powers as the ocean. So, in a way, you, the soul, is the mini-god creating, but it's also a part of the bigger god that has created mini-god, extensions of itself to create. So it's just one creative life force that is just creating over and over, in different shapes, different ways, different forms, without limitation, without end, no beginning, no end. It's, it's mind-boggling and it's be so, uh, I want to say, devastatingly beautiful. And what it devastates is this notion of smallness, of separateness, of aloneness. It devastates the ego, but not in a violent way, in a consuming way, in an all-encompassing, loving way. This is who you are Now. If you're not having this human experience again, be like, well, my life feels nothing like this.

Speaker 1:

One Part of the, this teaching of the way of mastery, is to open your mind to new ideas, and that's what this section is. It's opening your mind to new possibilities and new ideas. It's less practical right now, and that's OK. We need both. We need, like the big mind, expansing expansiveness, ideas that open us up. And then we need how do I apply it, how do I use it in my life? And right now, this is one of those expansing, expansive sections. Beautiful. So last little section, then we'll be done.

Speaker 1:

He says that in italics that meaning this ocean that creates unlimited forever. That is your capital S self, not the tiny wave that has a name and a history of being born at a certain time and living in a certain house or a city. It is certainly never what you call yourself as a banker or a teacher, or a mother or a father. None of these things is what you are, father. None of these things is what you are. You are consciousness, unlimited, pure spirit, creating upon creating, upon creating world without end amen.

Speaker 1:

You cannot help but create as you wake up to who you really are. It's the joy of oh my gosh, I am safe because danger is not even a thing. I'm not a threat. I couldn't be a threat. Nothing real can be threatened. I am abundant, I am powerful, I am peaceful, I am love. So it's like okay, all the worries of my human self, I'm getting over them. I'm seeing through the illusion, the cage that I created for myself. I'm disidentifying with it, disidentifying with it and expanding into a greater sense of self, capital S self. Okay, I'm not worried about all those things now. Now, let's have some fun, god, above all things, playfully. What do I want to create? What's fun, what brings aliveness, what brings me joy? Let's get down to that now.

Speaker 1:

That is living, not to survive, that is, living, to live, to extend life, to be life creating. This is what your birthright is. This is why you're drawn to the way of mastery, because your soul is like it's time to wake up, baby. And yeah, it might take longer than others, in time, whatever, but again, it's already a foregone conclusion. The second you say I want more, I want God, I want all of it, and it's happening. And this podcast, if you're listening to it, is a tiny part of your journey too. Otherwise you wouldn't have been listening to it, and I love this. That is yourself. You are the ocean, not the tiny little wave of who you think you are.

Speaker 1:

I'm Jason, born in Queens, new York, in 1979, and to these parents, and this is, and then, oh, we identify so much I'm a father, I'm a husband, I'm a lawyer, I'm a podcaster, I'm a teacher, I'm a healer, I'm a accountant, I'm a whatever. It is that we identify and we say I am accountant. Whatever it is that we identify and we say I am, it creates this limited identity. And Jethro says none of these things is what you are. So here's an exercise that I did the other day and it's so valuable. I really encourage you Write down.

Speaker 1:

Take a piece of paper and write down all the things that you label yourself, as you don't even realize. I'm a brother, I'm a son, I'm a father. I'm a New Yorker. Hey, I moved to California, I live in North Carolina, but I still identify as a New Yorker. I'm a pet owner. I'm a cancer survivor, I'm a.

Speaker 1:

Whatever your occupation is, I'm a husband, I am single. Whatever you put after I am, just write it down. I'm a husband, I am single. Whatever you put after I am, just write it down. I'm a college grad. I'm a PhD. I'm a high school dropout. Whatever you put after I am, just write it down. Don't stop. Spend an hour if you need to. That might sound so ridiculous. Spend an hour if you need to Get it all out.

Speaker 1:

Anything you think of that you could identify yourself. Because when you take all of that shit away, what's left? I am, I am, I am, I am that I am. This is why Jeshua says I can't remember where, of course, miracles Waymaster.

Speaker 1:

He says when I would be with my disciples and my buddies and we would end a conversation to go off on our way. This is how we would end the conversation God is, that's it. And then we would say nothing else and walk away, because what else is there to say? God is, I am God is. End of story, amen, hallelujah, that's it. We are the ones who put the labels on and then react and live out the labels, and that's where we get attached and where we suffer. I'm a lawyer and you lose your job and your whole identity is wrapped up in being a lawyer. Or I'm a millionaire and you go bankrupt and all your identity is wrapped up in being a millionaire. That's when we suffer, when our identity is wrapped up in all of these temporary experiences that are for learning, not for identity. I am God is, amen, amen, amen.
