Lesson 13: You Are Unlimited Spirit
Section 5: Bringing Awareness to the Limiting Definitions of Yourself
Paragraphs: 18-20

Feel the liberation as we dive into the powerful affirmation that we transcend our physical forms and worldly labels. Together, we'll discover how to redefine our identities, drawing inspiration from Jeshua's profound teachings. Imagine the freedom of being the artist of your life canvas, able to reshape your reality at will. By releasing judgment and embracing our experiences with curiosity, we set the stage for a life filled with wonder and open-minded responses to the hurdles we face.

This episode isn't just a philosophical treatise; it's a practical guide to living with greater mindfulness and intention. I'll walk you through a subtle, yet life-altering shift in language—referring to 'the body' rather than 'my body'—which invites a new relationship with our physical existence. We'll explore how to enrich our interactions with others, going deeper than the mundane, and how to infuse every moment with purpose.

Learn to engage with the world with a full heart and conscious presence, making every encounter an opportunity for growth and connection. Join me in this journey of self-discovery and witness how the art of presence can transform your everyday life.

Speaker 1:

Hello and welcome back to the Daily Study of the Way of Mastery. I am Jason Amoroso, your guide and friend, and today we continue with Lesson 13,. You Are Unlimited Spirit. I hope you've been saying that to yourself every day since you've been listening to this lesson. I am unlimited spirit. Say it out loud, say it in your mind and, more importantly, feel, feel it. And if you have trouble feeling it because you are so identified with the body and the world, then pretend, use the power of your imagination to imagine what maybe Jeshua says, jesus says, any other enlightened being says when they say I am unlimited spirit, how do you think they feel? Just imagine, pretend, remember when you were a kid and you would role play and pretend. Do that now, because the feeling that you feel when you pretend or you imagine it's real. You're feeling something different in your body. You've gone from a mental, just a cerebral thought, to something that's energized and empowered with life energy. You're feeling something different. I am unlimited spirit. Your brain might start arguing. You drop into the body and I am unlimited spirit. And I don't mean the physical body, I mean your, your body, your soul being All right.

Speaker 1:

And we're continuing with section five, bringing awareness to the limiting definitions of yourself that you have defined yourself by. That's not what it says, but I'm filling in the blanks. So, before we dive in, just know that there are some landscape people working in the background, so you might hear some leaf blowers and such. But let's just dive in. Just know that there are some landscape people working in the background, so you might hear some leaf blowers and such. But let's just dive in and keep going. We get to create our experience. If we want to get frustrated, if we feel distracted, whatever it is, this is great practice.

Speaker 1:

So we begin with Jeshua in paragraph 18, where he says Never say, then, that you have discovered something. Rather, learn to say I am experiencing the effects of certain lines I have drawn in the infinite field of my being, and they are perfectly okay. Just this simple statement that all that I'm experiencing in any moment is the effect of pebbles that I've dropped, or now he's calling them lines that I've drawn on this infinite, expansive canvas, this quantum field where all things, anything is possible, where all creation exists from and it is sourced from consciousness. So I'm the painter, I get to choose what I will paint. But what Jeshua is saying is we make the mistake where we think we are the painting and we forget that we're the painter. We can paint happy, we can paint sad, we can paint triumph, we can paint sorrow or victimhood or whatever.

Speaker 1:

Anything that we experience we've created, again at a deeper level than your conscious thinking, intellect, brain, body, mind can comprehend. But we're being invited into just even thinking that that's a possibility. Oh, there's a greater part of me. Just even thinking that that's a possibility, oh, there's a greater part of me. And so far it's been, let's say, kind of out of my awareness. I haven't really realized or experienced this greater part.

Speaker 1:

But Jeshua was saying ah, I'm going to show you the way so that you can experience it. While you're in, while you seem to be in this bodymind, you can experience your cosmic self. There's nothing grander than awakening to your cosmic self while you also appear and seem to be in a physical body, the body-mind. So let's do it. So I'm always just experiencing the effects of the lines I have drawn. This is the good news that it's me, it's the capital S self. I've drawn these in the infinite field of my being. And why is that good news? Because I can draw different lines in any moment and I'm not going to judge the lines that I've drawn. And that's what he means when he says and they are perfectly okay, the lines that I draw, they're okay, they're okay. They don't mean anything about me, they don't define me, they don't limit me unless I allow them to, unless I choose them to. And what he's trying to do when he says they're perfectly okay is just look at something in your life that you've created. Let's even take it.

Speaker 1:

The ego has a hard time it's always going to fight with. I didn't create this hardship, whatever it is. Let's just say look at something that you don't like in your life right now that you're judging. You're judging yourself, you're judging someone else, you're judging that that thing shouldn't be in your life. It could be a health situation, it could be a money situation, it could be a relationship situation, whatever it is. And you're judging it. You don't like it, you don't want it to be there. You're wishing and wanting and hoping it to be different. You're putting a lot of energy into resisting and fighting that it's there. You're not in acceptance, you're in resistance.

Speaker 1:

And can you see and just open your heart, take a slow, deep breath, bring a spirit of curiosity and innocence and wonder and just say, huh, what if this was perfectly okay? Now party's gonna start arguing again. Now this is how is this okay? This, this isn't OK. I got to change this, I got to fix this.

Speaker 1:

And you just stayed in that space of curiosity, innocence and wonder what if this was OK? What if I didn't have to spend so much energy fighting it or judging it or trying to make it go away or denying it or resisting it? What if I could just sit with myself as this event, situation, person just exists, and just breathe with myself, invite in light to myself, invite in love, be curious, be innocent, feel how your energy may shift, feel how maybe your intentions shift. Huh, what if this was okay? What are my options here? How can I choose to relate to this now? What would I want to create instead If this was just like Jeshua was saying and Jason's sharing?

Speaker 1:

This is just a line I drew on a canvas and it's not right or wrong. It doesn't define me. What else would I'd like to create? And all of a sudden, new possibilities come into your mind because you're open. So, seeing that they're perfectly okay. They have no power in and of themselves. All events are neutral and you're not even at the mercy of the effects that you're created.

Speaker 1:

So if you created these squiggles, if you created this hardship in your life, you're not because you've been dropping pebbles of, let's say, lack, lack and scarcity, lack and scarcity. And then you drop these pebbles of lack and scarcity, you're valuing lack and scarcity, you're thinking about lack and scarcity over and over again and then you manifest an experience of lack and scarcity. You're not at the mercy of the manifested experience. Jeshua says that in Lesson 9. And I remember it's Lesson 9 because we're reviewing that in our Living the Way of Mastery year-long course. We go back and we review and the students, the people in the course, teach that lesson because you learn something when you teach it. It's one of the reasons why I do the podcast. So you're not at the mercy even of the squiggles that you've painted, that you've created.

Speaker 1:

So Jesuit continues in paragraph 19. That's like taking a walk in the rain. Learn to enjoy it from the place of unlimitedness within you, as a Christ would walk upon this earth and say I choose to feel the rain upon the skin of this body. I feel the shiver of the flesh against the cold. What a delight it is. I am unlimited forever. This moment does not define me, it does not imprison me. I am free. I am free.

Speaker 1:

Tomorrow I might move to some warmer climate where the sun shines and there are no clouds of rain. If so, I will enjoy the rays of the sunlight upon my skin and the sweat upon the brow, and I will notice what it feels like as it trickles across the skin Not my skin, but the skin. And when I meet a friend, I will remind myself that our fields of mind are meeting in many dimensions. What will I choose to bring to that moment? Will I see myself as limited to the boundaries of the skin, of the body? Will I only tell them of all my laments? My car had a flat tire and then my mother called and she's unhappy because I forgot her birthday, and, oh my goodness, I don't know how I'm going to get through. Or am I going to meet them as the unlimited cosmic being that I am? Will I create this space in which I get to enjoy beaming love to them? Will I enjoy seeing what is occurring just around the edges of the third dimensional experience? That, of course, does go on.

Speaker 1:

Hello, fred, Nice to see you, but around the corners. Oh, fred, you had an argument with your wife. Let me talk to you about that, without ever opening the physical mouth. Here's some love for you. You know the wisdom, you know the answer. Oh, a little cancer is beginning to form in the colon. I think I will send light to it. So how is the wife? How are the children? Oh, very good, and I continue beaming light into the cancer.

Speaker 1:

Which experience do you prefer? The contracted awareness within two small squiggles on an infinite canvas of radiant light, or the radiant light itself, operating through very temporary and freely chosen squiggles called the body-mind? All right, I don't normally do that. Where I read that much, I usually read and break it down, read and break it down, but it all kind of flowed, so let's break it down now. So he's saying learn to enjoy walking in the rain, learn to enjoy even the effects of your squiggles, learn to enjoy it all because it's because, from the place of unlimitedness within you, you are unlimited eternality I don't even know if that's a word in eternity from your unlimited power to create any experience. Why would you judge if you could create any experience and recreate an experience and recreate experience again, if that's all you could do and that was your only power. Why would you judge creating, creating any experience that just makes it wrong or it makes you wrong, when you can just create a new experience, and any experience you create is temporary.

Speaker 1:

Now, if you are so convinced and and so tightly identified with the body, mind, with your personality, that I am, I'm jason and I grew up in new york and I've got, you know, this kind of family and this is my background, these are my, my traumas and this is my dreams and these are my, this is my house and my car, and you just identify to all these things and I'm a righty, I'm a right-handed person, whatever it is, whatever way you label yourself, it doesn't feel like the temporariness is terrifying, right, because this little me, oh man, I know I'm only going to live maybe 75 years, 85, 95 years if I'm lucky. Oh, and then maybe I better do all this anti-aging stuff that all these new people are discovering, because I want to live forever, Because when I die I'm done, and that's scary. When you're so tightly identified with your story, there's no room for a new story. And I'm saying all this for you to look at yourself. This takes a level of reflection of yourself, of turning the mirror I guess it's a mirror, so you don't have to turn it inward but to look within, to be curious again with innocence and curiosity. Well, how am I doing this in my own life? Not just reading these words and getting it. Intellectually it's not going to change anything. It's the application. It's taking the idea and the theory and the concept and applying it, and sometimes it's messy and we don't always get it right away and that can frustrate us. But like just sticking with it, I'm going to keep applying this because I want to learn, I want to experience, not just learn it, experience what Jeshua was talking about, this freedom he keeps saying. That seems so far beyond me, but a part of me is just calling for it. So you know, it's so funny.

Speaker 1:

Like anything, the rain is neutral. Some people will say, oh, my God, the rain, thank heavens, we need the rain. The rain is lovely, I love the rain, it's my favorite. And other people are like oh, the rain, it's such a hassle, it's an inconvenience. Right, it's neutral and you give the meaning to it. You create your experience of the rain. Even when you say rain, you're bringing a whole host of associations that you have that no one else has around rain that create an experience within you just saying the word rain, but just you're saying whatever's happening.

Speaker 1:

You get to choose. I choose to feel the rain upon the skin. Oh, this shiver in the flesh against the cold. What a delight to shiver, to be cold instead of oh, my god, I'm cold. This is awful, I hate cold. Create your experience. I am unlimited forever. This moment does not define me. It's a moment. It doesn't define me. I'm unlimited forever. This moment does not define me. It's a moment. It doesn't define me. I'm experiencing it right now. It does not imprison me. I'm free and there's going to be another moment and another moment, and another moment forever. So get on with creating the moment that you want, no matter what is happening. Don't you see how that's freedom? No matter what is happening in the world, geopolitical, whatever is happening in your world, in your family life, in your body, in your health, in your relationships, it's just moment to moment.

Speaker 1:

You get to choose where you will reside, what you will teach, what you will communicate, as Lesson 9 also says that you are a communication device, the body is a communication device and everyone is a minister, what are you communicating? You do not communication device. The body is a communication device and everyone is a minister. What are you communicating? You do not stop communicating. So what do you want to communicate? Love or fear Tomorrow?

Speaker 1:

Today I might be in the cold and the rain, but tomorrow I might move to another climate where it's warmer and maybe I'll be hot and sweaty and I'll embrace that too. I'll notice what it feels like when it trickles across the skin, not my skin, because I'm not identifying with it, but just the skin. Again, are you practicing this in your life? Anytime you say my and you're talking about the body, my body, can you say the body and just see how that feels and fits? And just see how that feels and fits? And when I meet a friend, I'll remind myself that our fields of mind are meeting in many dimensions, not just on the surface.

Speaker 1:

What will I choose to bring to that moment? Will I just stay on the surface and say, hey, how's it going? What's you know surface level talk? Or am I going to open my awareness and be curious, first of all, be intentional? What will I choose to bring to this moment? When I'm with anyone, it doesn't matter if it's a friend or a stranger, when I'm with another being, when I'm with a tree, wherever you are, what will I choose to bring to this moment? Another question is how can I extend my treasure, bring to this moment? Another question is how can I extend my treasure? How can I be that which I want to experience Peace? How can I be the presence of peace here? How can I be the presence of joy? How can I be the presence of love? How can I be the presence of kindness? How can I be the presence of generosity? Isn't that what we all want? We all want to experience those things in life. Well, they don't just happen. They're not, as Jesher says again in lesson nine, because I've been partnered up with one of our students as we create kind of a summary and she's going to primarily teach it. But it's like, how can I create these qualities within me? They don't just exist floating around out in the ethers, they exist for me, when I create them, when I become them. So many people are waiting for Jesus to come save them and, as we know, I think in yesterday's episodes, I've never enlightened anyone. I couldn't save you even if I wanted to, and I don't want to, not because I don't love you, because I do love you. Isn't that amazing? Think about that in our world today. I'm not going to save you because I do love you. You have to save yourself. I'll show you the way. I'll give you the keys to the kingdom, but you got to do it for yourself. I can't do it and I don't want to do it for you. How does that show up in our world today? I'm not going to save you because I love you, not because I don't care about you, because I know how powerful you are. I know that you can rise up inside of yourself. I know that you can find the resilience, the strength, the love, the compassion inside of yourself to be creative, to think outside the box. Limitation inspires creativity. It doesn't create more limitation. But we live in a world that not just tolerates but celebrates and encourages and enforces victimhood. I will not save you because I love you, but I will show you the way. I'm not going to withhold that. I'm not going you because I love you, but I will show you the way. I'm not going to withhold that. I'm not going to withhold my love. That's what Jeshua is doing here. He loves us so much. And he says at some point I don't remember what lesson this was, but this is in previous lessons I'll carry you when I can. I'll show you the way when I can. You know footprints in the sand, but at some point you will say to me thanks, but I don't want you to carry me anymore. I got this. I believe in myself now. I know who I am. Thank you for your help. And I got to do this part on my own now to see if I really can and I know I can. So let's dive in into the laboratory. I'll make mistakes, but I believe I'm going to keep going. You can love someone and not save them. That is ultimate love. It doesn't mean you ignore them. It doesn't mean you abandon them. This is a power. I don't know how we got off of that tangent. That's powerful. This is a power. I don't know how we got off of that tangent. That's powerful. Jeshua continues. Will I see myself as limited to the boundaries of the skin, of the body? Am I just this flesh and bone and my little brain confined to my skull? And what I can think of? Will I only tell of my laments? I mean, how many of us just conspire around our complaints, our victimhood. Oh, look at poor, little, weak, helpless, hopeless me. Look at all these. I'm the oppressed. Look at the oppressor out there. How are you oppressed? Let's connect over our oppression. Let's connect over our victimhood. Let's connect over our powerlessness. Let's connect over our egos. Let's complain and blame anything or anyone else. Let's say all the things that are not right with the world. And when you do that, ooh, you know what I love when you complain. I love it when you complain and be the victim and blame other people and feel powerless and weak. You know why I love it? Because that gives me the right. Then Then I can settle into that nice, comfortable place of feeling helpless and powerless and weak and victimized. And not enough, it's so comfortable there. It's like a currency, it's an agreement. If you agree to be the victim, the less than the weak, the powerless, if you agree to be separate, if you agree that this insane, tiny, mad idea is true, then I want to agree with you. And that's most of the world. And there's no sides. It doesn't matter what side you're on, it's the same thing, it's just different sides of the same coin. To conspire means literally to breathe with. You're breathing with. When they're conspirators, they're breathing with. Life conspires for you always. The Holy Spirit conspires for you always. What you create in error instantly is instantly transformed for your highest good, if you are willing to see it and use it as such. So, hey, am I only going to tell my complaints and my laments what you, what your word is so powerful. When you just complain, you just again, the quantum field just says yes, yes, yes, here, here, here. So when you complain, the quantum field just says yes, here, and you're dropping pebbles every time you speak a word of complaint and so you're just getting more things that you can complain about. The complainer will use literally anything to complain about. The victim will use anything to feel victimized by. You know people like that. You've probably been that person at one point where it's like it's everything else, is there's something wrong with something? I've got people in my world that literally they could win the lottery and complain about. They could win a billion dollar lottery and complain about the 500,000 or 500 million dollars in taxes they have to pay. They're always going to find the yeah, but, and that's a choice, and I was going to say it's a sickness and a disease, but it's just I mean the the ego. It's just a part of the ego, it's just an effect of the ego, and if you don't want to be that person, then don't be that person who has control over what you share, even if, even if, somebody tries to seduce you with their complaints oh look, our boss, he's so, or she is so uncaring, or she, that they don't respect us. Look at what they're making such a horrible decision. This is the worst boss I've ever had, and all you want to do is you just want to join and be like oh my God, yes, you're so right. Our boss is the reason why we're unhappy. Our boss is the reason why the company's failing. Our boss is the reason blah, blah, blah, blah, blah. Yes, let's join together. Now I feel good, but no one controls your thoughts, no one controls your words and what you speak. This is where you get to practice. And Jeshua says or am I going to meet them? As the unlimited cosmic being that I am, will I create the space in which I get to enjoy beaming love to them? Will I enjoy seeing what is occurring just around the edges of the third dimensional experience? That, of course, does go on. It goes on and on and on and on forever, because you're not a limited being, I'm not a limited being. So where are the layers? What can I see beyond the physical form? I get to choose where I will reside, who I will be, what I will extend and share and, come the place I will come from, my state of being, what will I identify as an unlimited cosmic being? Let's start identifying as that. I am an unlimited cosmic being, and will I create the space in which I get to enjoy beaming love to them? So this is important. The creation of the space happens inside of you, and so many you know, I think, of the Viktor Frankl quote from Man's Search for Meaning. Between stimulus and response, there's a space. In that space lies our freedom to choose our response. And our freedom to choose is one of the last of the human freedoms. It's our power to create our experience. Between stimulus what happens and response how we respond there's a space, there's a gap. That's our power to choose and how we will perceive it. Really, the stimulus is just the event, and all events are neutral. So how will you choose from love or fear, from unlimitedness and holiness and goodness, or the opposite, which in truth actually doesn't even exist. But will I create the space inside of myself in which I get to enjoy beaming love to them? Again, it's a space I create inside of myself. But here's why I'm repeating this again In my experience I can get good, it's a skill to create the space. How do I do that? I practice my five minutes a day, meditating as a Christ. Lesson nine again, it all comes back to lesson nine. Right, it happens in meditation. It happens in practicing, creating that space within you, the meditation that Jeshua gives us in this, in this, that I am not what I perceive myself to be. I'm so much more. I want to open access to other dimensions of experience. So the space doesn't just happen by accident. No-transcript. And I love where he says the space in which I get to enjoy beaming love to them. And the second part of that that he doesn't say is and I'm going to add this in regardless of their mood, their beliefs or their ability to receive my love, it's easy to be loving and kind and gracious when somebody likes you or they're happy with you, but when they're upset at you, they're directing anger at you. Can you still be the presence of love? Can you still beam love to them. When they're trying to ruin your career or ruin your marriage or ruin your life or or cause harm on you, can you still beam love to them? It doesn't matter what's happening over there, inside of them or anything in the world. It always comes back to your singular, individual, conscious choice of who you want to be, of how you want to shine, of what you want to minister and communicate to the world. Regardless of what's happening, I am the presence of love. I am a cosmic, unlimited being. Crucify me, nail me up on the cross, try to humiliate me, embarrass me, discredit me. I am love. None of what you can do can touch what I am and, in truth, who you are, because you are the same as me. Even if you've forgotten, even if you're playing some other part. This is the message of the Christ. This is the message of the Christ. This is what's available to all of us. This is freedom, liberation. And then he goes on to will I enjoy seeing what's occurring just around the edges? Again, this is another exercise. Practice it. Your brain's going to fight and resist. That doesn't make any sense. What do you mean? What you see is what you get Really. What about the sixth sense? What about intuition? What about feeling? We are energy bodies, vibrational beings. So when someone has a vibration, they could say all the right things, but their vibration you just feel it's off. We've all had that experience. I mean you could just whether it comes through in their body language or just their energy. You've been around people where it's something just feels not right, it's not congruent, it's not in alignment with how they're pretending to be. So we're being invited to explore and expand beyond the edges of the 3D experience with someone. And then he gives us an example where he's like, oh hey, nice to see you, kind of these surface conversations. But when you open your consciousness and you're like, oh, this person just had an argument with their wife, let me just send love to you, let me just share love and blessings with you. Oh, there's a little cancer in the colon starting to form. Let me just send light to it, let me just bless that part of you. So how's the wife going? How are the kids doing? And the whole time I'm just beaming light to the cancer, to the part of you that's hurting, that's feeling afraid, that's frustrated. Whatever experience I'm receiving when I expand my consciousness beyond the edges of you, and you know what my brain does. Ah, you're just making that up. Maybe, maybe not. I could argue with that all day long from the intellect, but from the heart. What's the harm in opening to love? What's the harm in beaming love? See, isn't that always the answer? No matter what's happening, just beam love and say I love you. You have the wisdom within you. You are a sovereign being. You are the christ too, even if you don't realize it. There's not, even is there no harm. That is all you really need to be, no matter what's happening around. So jeshua asks us which experience do you prefer? The choice is is yours. Look at your life, look at where you're playing the victim. Look at where you're judging somebody else. It's always a projection of something that you're really judging inside of you, but we don't want to acknowledge that. But just look at where you're unhappy. Look at where you're judging yourself. What experience do you want to have? The contracted awareness within two small squiggles on the infinite canvas of radiant light. You can experience being the little contracted squiggles. You can be the painting. You can experience being the painting and forget that you're the painter. You can identify with all of it. Or you can be the radiant, capital, l light itself, operating through very temporary and freely chosen squiggles called the body, mind. You can be the vessel, the conduit through which the light itself of God shines through you, operates, not just shines through, but works through you. Get out of the way, let it work through you. Get out of the way, let it work through you. Anyone listening to this podcast, anyone reading the Way of Mastery, that is one of your deepest heart's desire to be a vessel, a conduit for which God works through you, shines and works through you. We just get in the way, we just fear it, we fear who we might be because we're so identified with the ego, the tiny, mad idea of separation. It's insane and we live in an insane world with people that are sleeping all the time and we're sleeping most of the time. But we're waking up because we're ready to wake up and we're ready to communicate and teach only love. You don't have to say a word, you can just be love. That's demonstrating and teaching love. You don't have to say anything, you don't have to convert anything, you don't have to preach to anything. You just be it. That's how you teach and demonstrate love. So you get to choose. Will I be contracted? Will I identify with the contraction, with the little squiggles that I made that are in lack and limitation? Oh, I can't have this. I can't be that, I'm not worthy of that. You can have that experience and it's not bad or wrong, it's just an experience. Do you like it, do you want it? Or you can have the experience of being the radiant light itself, operating through. What we're acknowledging is a very temporary and freely, freely chosen squiggles called the body, mind, the little me. You can be the me or you can be the self. Your choice. I'm choosing to be on the path of mastery and it's not easy and I make mistakes and I forget, but I'm committed, so I show up every day, and I know you are too.
