Lesson 13: You Are Unlimited Spirit
Section 5: Bringing Awareness to the Limiting Definitions of Yourself
Paragraphs: 23-25

Unshackle your spirit and step into the realm of infinite possibilities as we discuss the essence of what it means to be truly limitless. In the company of Jeshua's timeless wisdom, we embark on an odyssey to transcend our physical confines and awaken to the realization that we are boundless consciousness, intricately woven into the divine tapestry. Prepare to reshape your understanding of reality by choosing thoughts that reflect the vastness of your spirit, and witness as the universe conspires to manifest the life you envision.

Venture beyond the surface as we explore the power of unconditional love. The poetry of Rumi guides us through this exploration, reminding us that love's true form is free from judgment. By fostering acceptance and celebrating the unique journey of every individual, we create a sanctuary where love flourishes, unburdened by judgment or the compulsion to impose our will upon another's path.

Speaker 1:

Hello and welcome back to the Daily Study of the Way of Mastery. I'm Jason Amoroso, your guide and friend and fellow student, and today we continue with Lesson 13,. You Are Unlimited Spirit. I hope you've been saying that to yourself over and over again throughout your days. You are unlimited spirit. I hope you're saying I am unlimited spirit. I am so much more than I've thought myself to be. That's the meditation we have earlier in this lesson from Jeshua. I am so much more than I believe myself to be. I'm not just this body, brain, I'm not just this intellect. I'm not just my past, this personality. I'm not this body. I'm not just a little baby human that's grown up to be an adult human and is going to die one day. Yes, I'm having that experience, but that's not what I am. I am so much more than that. I'm unlimited spirit because I'm pure consciousness, because God spirit is pure consciousness and I am a wave in that ocean of love and emanation of that. Not separate, that's insane. It could be separate, separate. The wave is part of the ocean and when we label those and give them names, they, they actually limit it in some way, because it's just a word that we've created to try and understand something when the understanding intellectually, when the understanding really, the knowing, is in the heart level. So anyways, I am, you are unlimited, unlimited spirit, and a part of us, let's just acknowledge it.

Speaker 1:

The ego self, the small self, whatever you want to call it, doesn't believe any of this crap. This seems unrealistic. What do you mean? I'm unlimited. I'm very limited. Look at all these things. Physically I might be limited because I've got physical issues, or mentally I might be. I'm not as limited. I'm not as smart as Elon Musk or whoever genius is out there. Look at my IQ score. Isn't the same. I might be limited in finances. I can't just do whatever I want and spend whatever money I want. I'm very limited. And the universe just says yes, yes, yes. The universe, source, spirit, the quantum field, just says yes to whatever you say. That's how amazing and loved and and powerful that you are. I'm enough. The universe is yes, but it says yes to what you feel, not what you say. So you can say I'm abundant, I'm a millionaire, I'm this, I'm that, and inside you're like I'm a piece of crap, I'm not worthy, I'm just lying to myself Vibrationally. That's what you're feeling when you're saying all these nice affirmations. The universe just says yes to what you feel. So, anyways, let's keep going.

Speaker 1:

We are coming down the homestretch, the last couple paragraphs of section five, bringing awareness to the limiting definitions of yourself. We can't change, we can't make a different choice if we're not aware of the choice that we've been making. So we've got to bring awareness to it, we've got to bring it into the light to the limiting definitions that we have held against ourselves, that we have held about ourselves. No one's doing it to us and even if they are, that has no power over us because we are sovereign, powerful beings. So even if somebody says you're not enough, you don't have to take it on.

Speaker 1:

You know I think it's an eleanor roosevelt quote that's like somebody's opinion about me is none of my business, it's their business. And that's not the quote, but that's the one that came through. She said something like that, basically like what anyone thinks about me is not my problem. So we are the ones who get to define and create ourselves. In a way. We don't create ourselves into existence, but now we have a blank canvas because we are pure consciousness with the power to create, and that's the one thing you don't have free will over. You are a ceaseless creator, no matter what, in each moment. And and imagine if we really not only got that, but lived it literally each moment.

Speaker 1:

What pebbles am I dropping? What thoughts am I holding? What belief system am I holding? What am I valuing? And I was deliberately reinventing, recreating or creating myself in every single moment. With every thought, I said no, I don't like that thought, cancel that.

Speaker 1:

New thought, new belief, new feeling. Because your thoughts today create your tomorrows. That's what Jeshua says. But you're not even at the mercy of those, because if you don't like your tomorrows, which is today, you get to create a new thought, you get to have a different experience of it, you get to choose. You're not at the mercy of karma, because in any moment, you can drop new pebbles, you can hold a new belief, you can value and invest in a new belief, and it's just time passing anyway.

Speaker 1:

So right now, you don't like what you've created, because what you're experiencing today is an effect of the pebbles you've dropped in the past. So if you don't like what you're experiencing today, just start dropping new pebbles and know that it's already done. That's the difference, right, pray as if it's already done, because when you drop those pebbles now. You're dropping those pebbles now, it is already done. It just ripples out and comes back to you. So it just seems like it takes time. But in the moment that you hold a certain vibration, a certain feeling, it is done.

Speaker 1:

But then our head gets in the way, our brain gets in the way and says well, I'm feeling abundant. But look at my surroundings, look at my bank account, look at all the lack I see. I guess it's not working, or I guess it's going to take a long time, or I guess this just isn't for me. And then that's how you're feeling. The universe says, yes, it's not working, yes, it's going to take time, yes, it you're radiating out. But if you're like I'm dropping that pebble right now, and I'm feeling it right now, and I know that it doesn't matter what I see with my eyes, I feel it, I know that it is done and I don't care how long it's going to, the effect is going to reverberate back to me and I'll get the effect. The cause is how I'm feeling right now and that's all that matters. And I'm going to stand in that truth, I'm going to savor and be grateful for that truth, this feeling right now, then you're unstoppable. Do you not see that? Then you are unstoppable, unwavering belief and faith and dropping boulders into the quantum field. That when you don't care about how long it takes or what it looks like, because that's what it looks like is just a form, but you were dropping boulders right now, energetically, in the quantum field. You don't care how long it takes, you don't care what form it looks like, it's done All right, but we're the ones limiting ourselves. That's the important part, because if we're empowered, if we're the ones doing it to ourselves, don't get judgmental to yourself about it. Don't victimize yourself. Use it as empowerment. If I'm doing this to myself, hallelujah, that means I can undo it or really create something else, something else you know, in habit formation and habit breaking.

Speaker 1:

A lot of the research says it takes a lot of willpower and energy to stop a bad habit. So they don't recommend that you try to stop a bad habit. They actually recommend that you start a new habit and that will help you just naturally stop the bad habit. If your bad habit is eating junk food will help you just naturally stop the bad habit. If your bad habit is eating junk food, maybe late at night and you're like man, I just can't stop doing this. I put on Netflix at 10.30, I end up going to bed at midnight. I'm eating chips. I feel like crap, I'm tired the next day. How can I stop doing that? It takes a lot of willpower.

Speaker 1:

I know for me, when I'm tired I don't have the willpower at the end of the day, or I don't have as much, so it's much harder. And when I'm tired I'm more likely to, let's say, drink alcohol or have a cigar, or just put on Netflix and just kind of zone out because I'm tired. So this seems quote unquote relaxing. But then I end up staying up late and I get up early the next day and I'm tired. I don't have the energy or the willpower, maybe, to do the things I want to do, or the willpower, maybe, to do the things I want to do. So instead of trying to stop that, so instead of trying to stop that, I start a new habit.

Speaker 1:

I say, okay, I'm going to start getting up and going to the gym at 6.30 in the morning every day or three times a week, and I'm going to work out. And I don't like lifting weights, I'm going to work out. And so if I stick to that and that's always the hardest part. We always know what to do. It's the accountability and the discipline. That's why people say and there's a really moving video of Mike Tyson saying it like discipline is self-love. That's why discipline is so hard for people. That's the most important thing. We all know what to do. But those who do it and do it when they don't feel like doing it, they get the results.

Speaker 1:

So, having the discipline to wake up every morning or three times a week or whatever, and go to the gym, get your butt to the gym because that's always the hardest part is just getting there and actually working out. And you can start by just lifting whatever weights and then over time you're like, hey, I want to really get the most out of this time if I'm going to be here and you do that, then after a week probably, or two weeks or three weeks, you're like man, I'm sacrificing this much. I'm getting up early, I'm working to the gym. It's hard work. I don't want to stay up, I don't want to be tired in the morning. If I'm going to work out anyway, I want to get the most out of it. I'm going to bed early.

Speaker 1:

The thing you don't want, you focus on what you do want. And the same thing applies to our mind and what we're learning from Jeshua here. Instead of fighting ourselves and judging ourselves and judging ourselves that we're judging ourselves we just start focusing and spending time and energy on meditation, on the five minutes a day as a Christ, as seeing and owning this idea that we're creating a new story, that we are the creators of our experience of embodying and being love and kindness in the world and having the discipline to do our spiritual practices, because every area of our life gets better when we connect to our capital S self, which is God, which is love, which is source. It's embodied and expressed as us. When we take time to connect to ourselves, be with ourselves, know who we are, then our marriage, our work, our physical health, our mood, every single thing gets better. But we're so distracted and focused on the external and other people's priorities and the to-dos on our list and the busy, busy, busy. We don't prioritize ourself. And then we wonder why we're all stressed out, why we're all sick, why we're, all you know, mentally challenged. You know, not mentally challenged, but like having mental health issues. It's because we're not making the time. We've complicated. We were so caught up in the complications of life.

Speaker 1:

All right, rant over, let's dive into the actual text here. All right, here we go. Lesson 13, section five, paragraph. What is this, I don't know? Hold on, I think I'm on the wrong page. My bad, I got caught up. Here we go.

Speaker 1:

Paragraph 23, where Jeshua says whenever another says to you, quote well, I like to eat meat, I love it raw and bloody upon my plate. End quote and you have been eating nothing but fruits and vegetables. There's no reason to say anything at all, just smile, decide that you can beam them, love, not because they are doing something wrong and if you love them they might change, but because their decision does not mean anything. It is just a description of how they are structuring their experience. Now again, I got to say it to address at least my own skeptical, ego-fighting thinking brain, which is this is bullcrap, this goes against the whole world. What do you mean? Their decision has no effect, of course. Their decision has an effect on other people on the planet, on all these things, and that is of the world. My kingdom is not of this world From the level of 3D, of fear and duality and the ego and right and wrong.

Speaker 1:

Then, of course, beyond that, yes, there is a dimension, there is an experience beyond that. That's what Rumi said in one of his quotes or poems and I'm just going to give an excerpt of it which is out beyond ideas of right-making and wrong-making, there is a field. I will meet you there. And then he says something along the lines of when we lay down in that grass, there is a field, I will meet you there. And then he says something along the lines of when we lay down in that grass, there is no, even the. The word quote other doesn't even really mean anything, because there is no other. There is just one, there is just life, with a capital l expressing itself and an infinite number of forms, and we are aware, and a part of that, out beyond ideas of judgment, of right and wrong. There's a, a field. I'll meet you there.

Speaker 1:

Now, when you're in the world, in the 3D, in the duality, of course there's right, of course there's wrong, what do you mean? You can just go murder anybody and that's not wrong. Well, jeshua says earlier, in the way he says of course, with this level of power, is not just the responsibility, but is when you're in your heart. You don't even think about these things Like it's not to murder something or to steal, or to be dishonest or to do these other things, like it's not. Even that's not loving. So the heart knows that.

Speaker 1:

So let's look at this. This is this idea. Whenever another says to you well, I eat meat, I love it, bloody and raw, and you identify or label yourself as a vegetarian or whatever it is, there's no reason to say anything at all, just smile and decide that you can be in them, love. Why? Because that's what you are, because how they live their OK, it goes to the last sentence. It is just a description of how they're structuring their experience. We are all structuring an experience. Think of a scaffolding. The scaffolding, when they're improving a building, is the structure that the workers can go on and use to kind of get up top. And scaffolding you know what it is, I don't need to explain it to you, but the skeleton of the body is the structure of the body.

Speaker 1:

So your belief systems, what you believe to be true, what you value, what you live by, that creates your experience. And we see that all in the world, people with different value systems for them, believe that that's the way to live, and when other people don't adhere to that value system, they're either wrong or they're judged, or whatever Right it's like, not OK. So there's a big disagreement. If we could all just accept that everyone has their own value system, even even inside of different groups, which again is just a label and identity. Well, I'm part of this group, I'm a Christian, but then within Christianity there's all these different value systems and each one thinks it's better or wrong, or I prefer this Right, so there. But but that's just an example of we create the structure of our experience by our values, but we what believe? And then we experience that. But where we go wrong is when we judge someone else's structure. We judge their values.

Speaker 1:

Just beam them love, not to change them. Well, if I beam them love, then they'll see the light. If I beam them light, then they'll see the light and they'll change. They'll see it my way, then they'll see the light. If I beam them light, then they'll see the light and they'll change. They'll see it my way, or they'll stop their ways, or they'll have a change of heart.

Speaker 1:

That's manipulation, that's not love. I'll say it again when you beam light to someone or love to someone from your heart with any agenda, hoping, wanting, wishing that they change in any way. That's manipulation. That's not love that could go for your spouse, for your in-law, for your boss, for the Democrats, the Republicans, the Israelis, the Palestinians, whatever. It doesn't matter what the group or the side is. If you're beaming them love, thinking you're being the Christ love, but somewhere inside you're hoping you're beaming will change them in any way, that's manipulation. That's actually not love. All right, this is good when we come up against these like not controversial, but it's like, oh, these ideas that make us feel certain ways. It's good, it's very good.

Speaker 1:

Beam them, love, not because they're doing something wrong and if you love them they might change, but because their decision does not mean anything. It doesn't mean anything in existence in reality with a capital R anything. It doesn't mean anything in existence in reality with a capital R. This is where a lot of people, I think, get a little twisted in A Course in Miracles. It's like, well, nothing's happened, it's all an illusion, nothing's happening anyway. True, but our experience of it while we're in it feels very real. So let's use it.

Speaker 1:

But Jeshua's right, like nothing's happening, like if you kill somebody's body, they are still very much alive. Look at jeshua. They crucified him and murdered him and he was still very much alive and he was aware of that. He was not in fear. He's like. You can do whatever you want to this body and I am love and I am so much more than this body. It's not even so. I'm willing to give it up, especially when I get to demonstrate to anyone who will look at this the truth and it will spark or awaken in them the truth inside of them that life is eternal, that I am. I am not Jesus of Nazareth, the body. I am, not even Jeshua ben Joseph or Sananda the Pleiadian or whatever identity you want of that being. It's the I am, the great I am, that I am is eternal and you are it, you are a part of it, you are an aspect of it, you are an expression of it. So this is what we're being invited into now.

Speaker 1:

Again, the ego is like well, what does that mean? I just die, I just don't care about my body, I just, I just give up all these things. That's the fear talking. If you get out, if you just notice that your fearful mind wants to chime in and kind of hijack this, this teaching. You just notice it. Oh okay, there I go again. There my brain goes again. It wants to fight, it wants to argue. And you return to your heart. And when I'm in my heart I don't know about you, but when I'm in my heart and I read this stuff, it is like a homecoming. It just rings, it sings of truth, it has a vibration that just resonates truth. So I can argue with my brain all day long or I can accept it in my heart and allow that to radiate through my whole being.

Speaker 1:

And again, we've let the Jeshua says this in the core, in the way of mastery, the course of miracles. Same thing is, we've let the brain, which is supposed to be the stupid, stupid servant of the heart, we've let it run the show. We've given the intellect all've let it run the show. We've given the intellect all the power, all the credibility. But we can take that back because we're not at the mercy of our brain, we're not at the mercy of the ego. We are sovereign, dominion beings, consciousness. So you get to choose. So I'm going to choose to center in my heart, to resonate with truth and allow that truth to permeate all my thoughts, all my actions the best I can. Of course, if I make mistakes, I'm going to see that and make a different choice, and every mistake I make is out of fear.

Speaker 1:

When you're in your heart, I think you literally can't make mistakes, because the content is pure and true. The form might not show up the way that you want it to, but the content is pure and true. The form might not show up the way that you want it to, but the content is pure and true. But give ourselves grace for again, we're divine, spiritual, infinite, eternal, unlimited beings having a human experience for the learning and the growth of it. We're here to learn and grow, not to be perfect. How are you structuring your experience? That's the question that I would ask myself. Where am I in judgment of another, on their beliefs, on their lifestyle, on their choices? And that has no bearing on how I'm going to structure my experience.

Speaker 1:

Next paragraph Jeshua says if you identify with yourself as a quote, pure vegetarian, end quote you will not be able to prevent yourself from judging your brother or sister. And where judgment abides, you have created separation and for a moment you lose the presence of love. Simple, he's just saying what we've been saying, so we don't need to beat it like a dead horse, like sometimes I can do because we need repetition and we need to hear it over and over again. Sometimes I can do because we need repetition and we need to hear it over and over again. But if you identify yourself as anything and you really attach to that and you really make the other side wrong, even if you make them a little wrong, it doesn't matter.

Speaker 1:

Judgment is judgment, whether it's a little or huge, no-transcript. It's the same thing with the way of mastery and with spirituality. Again, the vehicle doesn't matter. You can use anything for judgment. Well, the way of mastery is the way it's by Jeshua, of course, and this is a loving message, and anyone who doesn't believe this, they're clueless, they're wrong, they're missing out. Whatever the judgment might be, you can use this for that too. You can use anything for judgment, and where judgment abides, you have created separation and for a moment you lose the presence of love, and none of us who are listening to this want that. So let us just be aware of our judgments and let us be aware how we're creating our judgments, and our judgments are based on how we are structuring our experience, the values that we're attached to that we're believing and buying into and then making someone else who's different or doesn't agree or has their own values, or what they do, as wrong or as less than or as inconvenient or as whatever. In oneness there is just one. There's no right or wrong. There's the roomies field. There's just one. There's no right or wrong. There's the roomies field. I'll meet you there.

Speaker 1:

And he closes this section saying can you become selfish enough to learn to truly recognize that you are not influenced by anyone else's choices, and their choices do not say anything about your own. You are free to embrace your experience as being wholly capital S, self-created, out of perfect innocence and perfect playfulness. You have the free use of time to generate experience, amazing, beautiful, and you know when you first read that you're like well, who wants to be selfish? Selfish is a bad thing, right, but Jeshua is inviting us to be selfish here. Can you become selfish enough? Because it requires a level of like, paying attention to yourself and thinking of yourself and knowing that yourself is your responsibility Again, so empowering. Can you become selfish enough to learn to truly recognize that you're not influenced by anyone else's choices? That's real maturity. That's real maturity. That's spiritual maturity.

Speaker 1:

You are not influenced, not even influenced. Well, they said this and it didn't change my mind, but I was influenced by them. No, you're not even influenced by anyone else's choices. Let that sink in. This is the end of victimhood. You're not influenced by anyone else's choices and their choices. Do not say anything about your own choices. This can be a hard one, especially for parents. Well, if my kid did something and my teenager did something, sure that's a reflection of me and my parenting. If my parenting was better, they would have made a different choice. That's just one example.

Speaker 1:

Imagine that, that you are not influenced by anyone else's choices and their choices do not say anything about your own choices. You are free and sovereign and powerful. So look at where you're buying into those stories. Look at where you're really convinced that you are influenced by someone else's choices. Look, stop being pie in the sky. This isn't realistic, jason. Look at what's happening in the world. Of course I'm influenced by the government's choices, by the mandates, by the laws, by my boss's decision. I can't just do whatever I want. My boss has that power over me. Stop being unrealistic. This is pie in the sky. Pollyanna teaching From one perspective, I would agree with you, of course.

Speaker 1:

Which world do you want to live in? So where do you feel like you're being influenced by someone else's choices and that their choices actually say something about your choices, that what they do is a reflection of you? That's not taking responsibility, that's not giving them responsibility. When you enable someone, when you take their responsibility away, which, by the way, you can't, but when you think you can and they give it to you, you're enabling them, you're disempowering them. You're not seeing them as a sovereign being.

Speaker 1:

Jeshua says you're free to embrace your experience as wholly self-created. That's this whole teaching. Every experience I have, without exception, moment to moment, is my capital S self, and I say that because we's not, we're not always aware of what we're choosing, like subconsciously, but we, who we think we are, as a small brain, not the higher self, the expansive, unlimited capital S true self. Now we, we are being invited to live and to learn how to live from that place consciously, and this is the teaching. And he says, out of perfect innocence, don't judge yourself when you make creations that you don't like. Just say, oh, look what I made. And playfully, perfect playfulness. Oh, look what I made. Ha, silly me. I thought that would be nice, but I'm not really digging that. I want to make a different choice.

Speaker 1:

Imagine if we see your life playfully. What would change if you saw your life playfully? You saw your finances playfully. Oh, it's just, they're just numbers, they're just points. Maybe I make it about points and not oh my God, my bank account is my value, my bank account is low, I have no value and we get all personal about it.

Speaker 1:

What if it was playful? What if it was a game About your health, about anything? God, above all things playfully, with perfect innocence, not judgment, with wonder and curiosity and innocence. Oh, look what I did, look what I created for myself. I wonder why I would create such a challenging experience for myself. And when we ask and we open to that and we're kind of curious and innocent and wonderful, full of wonder, that's when, like, the answer comes, the message comes. Well, you created this because it's teaching you compassion. It's teaching you big time forgiveness. It's teaching you love. It's teaching you compassion. It's teaching you big time forgiveness. It's teaching you love. It's teaching you resilience. It's teaching you that you are unlimited by creating all these limitations. Oh, but I can't access that when I'm in judgment big time, when I'm attached to things, when I'm fighting things, resisting things, trying to force things.

Speaker 1:

You have the free use of time to generate experience, and that's lesson 14. Use time wisely. You have the free use of time to generate experience. You're always creating. You're always creating experience. What kind of experience do you want to create? You get to choose. No one can choose for you. This is the message of empowerment. We need to hear it over and over and over again.

Speaker 1:

And then C. I really encourage you to, just during your day, become aware when you're upset. What experience am I creating here? What belief, what value system is creating this upset in me, and am I willing to loosen that value system? Maybe that's the need to be right is the biggest thing that gets in our way. So great work. This is a practice. It's a daily practice. We may not get things intellectually right away. We may get them intellectually but not be able to see how they apply in our life. We may get them intellectually and apply them in our life and still make mistakes. It's all part of the process.

Speaker 1:

If you are listening to a podcast about the way of mastery, you're on the journey. You're doing it. Have patience with yourself. Be kind to yourself. I'm encouraging you. Keep going. All right, love you guys, love you so much. Way to go. If you get value from the podcast like subscribe, share, give us a good review on Apple Podcasts, even if you don't listen on Apple podcasts, and if you can give us a good review and write a sentence or two, that would go a long way. And send me an email. Let me know you're listening. Hello at Revelation Breathwork dot com, I would love to hear from you and if you're curious, about a year long commitment of diving in and applying.

Speaker 1:

This is not a study group. A study group just kind of reads and talks about it and maybe even debates the ideas. That's not what this is. What the Living the Way of Mastery program is about is about a commitment to yourself, to taking your devotion to the next level of really understanding and the theory of what Yeshua is teaching and then applying it in your life. And your daily life is your ashram, in the messiness of it, in the mistakes of it, in the things that stress you out and the things you're afraid of. That is all the juice. So we use your life, we use you as the curriculum to awaken into a whole new way of experiencing yourself and life. Your whole life will transform because your perception, your story, you will own yourself as a creator will change over a year. So if you're ready for a transformation, then check it out revelationbreathworkcom and there's going to be a link, a menu option somewhere for the Way of Mastery and go there and check it out.

Speaker 1:

And if you want to talk and have a conversation and a Zoom call, we could see each other. Is this the right program for me? Is this the right time for me? Tell me more about it. Let's do it. I mean, what better conversations to have than how you can transform yourself, your mind, your thinking, access more heart, more love, and use it in your life. Access more heart, more love and use it in your life. Maybe create your dreams with a group of other people committed to playing in that same sandbox, because it is play. Then let's do that. Let's talk about that. All right, see you next time.
