Speaker 1:

Hello and welcome back to the Daily Study of the Way of Mastery. I'm Jason Amoroso, your guide and friend, and today we continue with Lesson 13. We're coming down the home stretch, lesson 13,. You are unlimited spirit. Say it again, I am unlimited spirit. This way of transformation is about blasting open who we thought we were, what we've known ourselves to be, what the world has told us that we are, and experiencing ourselves as we truly are, as we were created, as we are created to be. I am unlimited spirit. I am not a very limited ego, brain, body, mind. And we dive in section six, creating a transformation journal. Let's do this.

Speaker 1:

Oh, a couple of things real quick. I have started to put the podcast onto YouTube and I think we're on episode 23 today. So I've gone back and every day I'm adding one of the original episodes to YouTube channel. I guess you could just search the way of mastery, jason Amoroso podcast and it should show up. And it's basically this it's the audio, just put on YouTube with a still image so that people can discover and consume the content in a new way, and I'm remastering it. So I'm taking the audio, the early audios I didn't remaster at all, I didn't really edit them. So I'm doing that. I'm making them a little more tolerable to the ears. So, anyways, it's just another place to check it out. All right, creating a transformation journal? This isn't this.

Speaker 1:

This section doesn't really require a lot of commentary and interpretation, obviously, but we gotta I don't want to skip anything out. That's the kind of anal part of me, the detailed part of me. Let's do every single line of this book. So let's dive in paragraph four, where jeshua, in the first three paragraphs, last episode, he's like make a transformation journal. Get a journal with no other purpose, just for this work. Find a picture that represents the highest, deepest, most passionate, most beautiful expression of love that you can imagine and put it on the cover or put it inside the book. Buy a pen that will be used for no other reason for this. Find a place that you deem as sacred, just for this book. And so I shared my story about the lion who came and saved me, and now how I'm the king riding the lion and helping other people wake up. I'm going to put that image on my book. But I also found I'm obsessed with lions. Now I found this really awesome golden lion pen that I bought on amazon for nine dollars and it came yesterday and I freaking love it. So that's going to be my pen for the journal. Um, we do have a buy me a coffee page and I'm going to start posting on it more if you want to support the podcast and kind of join that as a membership. But I'll post some pictures of the pen and of the picture the image that I shared from last episode All right, so, and Jeshua says each time you begin a lesson, write down the key points that are being shared, decide what they will mean for you and decide what steps you will take, if any, to incorporate those into your lived daily experience.

Speaker 1:

This is a transformation journal, not just more theory, more nice ideas. How are you going to apply this work? So Jeshua says in paragraph four, as you do this, by the time these lessons end, you will be surprised at what you have written in your journal as you go through it, lesson by lesson. Also, keep track of some of the things that you experience as you play with the practices that we give you. How are things changing? What experiences are you beginning to have as you explore the space just beyond the corners of your normal awareness when you do the exercise we suggested at the beginning of this lesson. What images came? What thoughts did you notice? What colors did you see? Write them down. Jot them down. Have fun with it. You know there's something. This is a great paragraph. It's simple. You know there's something. There's a great paragraph. It's simple, but like keep track we.

Speaker 1:

There's a lot of scientific research that backs up the power of writing things down, whereas you know, merely by writing your goals down instead of keeping them in your head, you're 43 percent more likely to achieve them. And then, when you have a plan for them, that percentage goes up even further. And then when you have accountability and you have a partner that you're doing your goals with and your process with, that goes up, I think, to as high as 72 percent likely to achieve your goals. When you've written it down, you have a plan and you have an accountability partner. How many people have that for your New Year's resolutions? Mostly none. I just saw another data point that said researchers did a study where people took notes in a seminar and they were 23% more likely to remember and recall the information in the notes from the speech that they heard when they took notes.

Speaker 1:

So there's something about writing things down and personally, for me, I think like pen and paper, not typing it out. It's different, it's more kinesthetic when you're actually writing it with your own hands versus typing it for me there. I don't know if there's any data to back that up, but this is this is really about applying and making the most of the teachings for you. You know I this, I've shared this many times in the amazing must have book Letting Go by David Hawkins. It's top 10 for me on every book a human being must own.

Speaker 1:

Where he uses the analogy of when we do this inner work, when we do this type of personal growth or healing work. It's so easy. You know. Part of why we're here is we're in school, so there's always a lesson right, so it's always like I'm doing more work. I always have something to heal. Part of that is when you look for problems. All you're going to see are problems, who we are.

Speaker 1:

And so the analogy that David Hawkins uses in his book is like this mountain of coal that we're shoveling. Let's say we're shoveling it into a fire and every time we take it we put the shovel into the coal. All we see is a shovel full of coal and then we throw it into the fire and then we have our head down and we put the shovel into the mountain of coal and we and so we're always just seeing a mountain full of coal. And that's what sometimes healing work can feel, like the inner work can feel like it's never ending. My shovel is always full. When is this going to stop? But what we miss because our heads are always down if we took a step back, we'd see that the mountain of coal became a hill of coal, became a pile of coal which became just a little, you know few pieces of coal. So we need that. We need that level of separation from our healing work. Sometimes like to see it from from a higher altitude, because sometimes it can feel like it's never ending. And that's what a journal can do, writing these things down.

Speaker 1:

We don't often see and appreciate our growth. It's just like when you're in middle school and're over at your friend's house and you see their parents all the time, and then summer happens and you don't see them. But then when school starts back up again, maybe you go over to your friend's house again and the parent is like, oh my gosh, you grew so much over the summer. Well, they noticed the growth because they've only seen you once every month or two months or three months. But when you look in the mirror every day, you don't notice how much you're growing. It's just you see yourself, and that's the same. That's very similar with this deeper interpersonal growth work. It's like we don't really notice it because one there's always something happening, we're always doing, we're always shoveling the coal and we just feel like ourselves all the time. Now we might have these moments where these bigger shifts and transformation, but usually it's like a steady growth, right? So we don't notice it. So, anyways, the whole point is, when we journal these things down, when we write them down, it not only do we like, recall, we remember, we apply, maybe we think a little deeper, but also we can go back and be like, wow, I've really grown a lot and it's important to write that down.

Speaker 1:

So what are your experiences through these almost 13 lessons that we've completed, including the one we got in this lesson where, when you go to sit and meditate, you ask hey, I am more than I have thought myself to be. I want to open myself up to different dimensions. What do you notice? What images come forward? Write them down. There's a whole lesson on desire where, for almost two weeks, we do a lesson on what is my heart desiring and writing down those desires. Weeks we do a lesson on what is my heart desiring and writing down those desires. We just did one in lesson I think it was lesson nine or lesson 10, where we're writing down well, how do I want to extend the good, the holy and the beautiful this day? Write it down. That's one of the advantages of doing the group that we have in the Living.

Speaker 1:

The Way of Mastery is we're sharing it in the Voxer every single day. And the last line of this paragraph is important. Have fun with it. Don't take things so seriously. Above all, god thinks playfully. Make it more like a game than this very serious heavy work that we have to do to wake up Jesuit continues. This heavy work that we have to do to wake up Jesuit continues.

Speaker 1:

For, indeed, in each lesson, we will be giving you very specific though what may seem as very simple exercises, but they are designed to give you access to what is already occurring at all times, in a way that can foster and deepen your deliberate awareness in italics, your deliberate awareness of what is occurring all the time in your cosmic and unlimited capital S self. So that's really what the exercises are about. It's what this whole lesson is sharing us. You are unlimited spirit. You're not a body, brain. You're not a body, you're not here for survival, you are not your thoughts. You are expansive, unlimited, the blank canvas consciousness that creates experience, that extends the good, the holy and the beautiful. And there's nothing grander than having this awareness, being awake like that, to who you really are, while also still in the body, according to Jeshua.

Speaker 1:

So this whole journal, the Transformation Journal, transformation is transformation. It's not change, it's not changing your shape or changing your direction. It's really transforming to a whole new being. And this journal is there to foster and deepen deliberate awareness of what is occurring all the time. It's all here as we wake up and our consciousness elevatesates, I guess, or just expands. We see, and what we're aware of, we know, it's already here. All the love like is already here. You are loved fully by god, by life, by source, by all of it. So often we like carve out a special moment in our life to look for a sign. The signs are always there. You ask for a sign. It's there, even when you're not asking out loud spirit source. Your higher self knows what you think you need and is offering it to you there. It's just that we're not paying attention so much. But to be deliberately aware that it's all here, all now, your cosmic and unlimited self, to be able to commune with other dimensions and other beings, that nothing is hidden from you. That's what this is. This is a tool to move in that direction.

Speaker 1:

He continues the only transformation you can experience in space and time is the reaching down from the depth of the ocean into one tiny temporary wave and readjusting. The little foam drops on the tip of the wave you call the body mind of the self, so that it begins to be a transparent conduit for an awareness of the ocean itself. This is the game of awakening. It is actually the most delightful use of time you will ever find. The Game of Awakening. That's going to be the title for this episode and the only transformation that's it. The only transformation you can experience in space and time is awakening. He uses this analogy of the tiny drop of foam at the tip of a wave that thinks for a second. It's actually separate for it to be aware that it's actually the vast ocean Reaching down from the depth of the ocean, up into that tiny drop of foam at the tip of the wave you call the body, brain of the small self that you think is you, so that it begins to be a transparent.

Speaker 1:

So that it begins to be a transparent, so that you begin to be a transparent conduit for the awareness of the ocean itself, so that you begin to be a transparent conduit for the awareness of God itself, herself, himself itself. This is available to you. This is not pie in the sky. This is not wait till you die. This is available to you Now. Be patient with yourself, have compassion for yourself. This is not an intellectual process. This is what the heart is calling for and singing for in every of your moments, when you're not so distracted by your to-do list and survival mode.

Speaker 1:

If you're reading this work, you want to, you desire to be a transparent conduit, a vessel for God awareness. That's what Christ consciousness is. That's what Jesus Jeshua was aware of. Hey, there's so much more going on than meets the eye people, transformers, more than meets the eye. There's so much more going on than meets the eye people, transformers, more than meets the eye. There's so much more we're transforming and there's so much more than meets the eye that we're told in this world.

Speaker 1:

Make some money, get a job, buy a house, have some kids, save up for retirement, try and be happy, go on the occasional vacation, see how long you can make the body last, get more stuff, try and do good, try and fit in. Whatever the world is. There's so much more available. You can be a transparent, you can be a vessel for God awareness. It really is what you are, and the more you do these practices, the more that you surrender your ego, the sense of separation, the need to be right, the need to control, the need to think you're here to survive. The more you just give everything over to God, to universe, to life with a capital L, the more your conduit expands and expands and expands, the more light you shine. It's like going from a little tiny cocktail straw how much light can get through a cocktail straw to a much bigger vessel. I don't know the grand canyon. So that's what's available. This is the game of awakening. Make it a game, make it be fun. Don't be so serious, don't judge yourself.

Speaker 1:

Jeshur says this is the most delightful use of time you'll ever find. What else are we here. For what else are you using time for than other? To be God awareness in what seems to be the separate little body? But you know that you're not. Let's do it. What? Imagine just for a second. Use your imagination. Just for a second. Use your imagination.

Speaker 1:

If, all of a sudden, you woke up as Christ consciousness, you're aware of it, all you like. What would be different for you? You probably stop worrying. You wouldn't even have it. You wouldn't even have an iota of worry, of stress or fear or overwhelm or guilt or shame. You wouldn't have an iota of any of that. It would be gone instantly. And if that was your experience, then what would you do? You're not worrying about money anymore. You're not worrying about health anymore. You're not worrying about anything. You're not trying to control your kids or outcomes or the world or what happens in the world. You have complete Christ consciousness. Now, what you have? It all the blank canvas. What are you going to create, man? I would just want to express, I would want to create, I would want to explore, I'd want to do all these things. I'm not doing now because I'm in fear, I'm focused on the wrong things. It's a good question to ask yourself.

Speaker 1:

Jesuit continues. As you choose to do that, trust me, it will carry you beyond this world, not from denial, but simply because you've outgrown it. There are dimensions of experience awaiting you that are so much grander than the dimension of the body-mind, but the way that you get to them is by bringing full awareness to what you are choosing to experience in each and every moment. You don't get there any other way. This is a really important paragraph. As you choose to awaken, as you choose to do the work, to be the vessel for the awareness of God itself, through you, the Christ consciousness, it will carry you beyond this world. We think this world is everything. We're trying to save the world. We're trying to make other people do things that we think are right for the world. We're trying to change other people. We're trying to again so focused on survival and getting our needs met.

Speaker 1:

As you let go of the world, your attachment to the world doesn't mean you shit on it, doesn't mean you treat it crappy. No, as you just see it for what it is, as you choose to open yourself, to love more and more and see yourself correctly, it will carry you beyond this world. But you'll be happy, you'll be grateful you'll be glad, not from denying the world, but because you've outgrown it. You've just outgrown it. Okay, I've been there, done that. I'm not really I'm ready for the next thing. This is kind of I don't know if boring is the right word, but I see it for what it is, and in a minute I think he talks about the analogy. It's just like a child's play toy. When they've outgrown it, they just kind of they simply leave it be and they have gratitude for it.

Speaker 1:

There are dimensions of experience awaiting you that are so much grander than the dimension of the body, mind, of the body, brain, so much grander. I think part of our fear of death is we don't, we don't know this for sure. We want the guarantee Well, when I die, what happens? Where am I going to go? Right, the fear of the unknown. What if? Here's another? What if? To play with yourself and you can maybe even like, meditate on this, like, get out of your head, close your eyes and feel this and allow a vision and new inspiration to come in. What if a vision and new inspiration to come in? What if? What if you weren't afraid of the unknown, what you couldn't see? What if your nervous system was actually excited and relaxed in the unknown.

Speaker 1:

We spend all of our time fearing the unknown, most of our time fearing the unknown. You know, it's that survival, body, brain instinct. Well, what's around the next corner? What's in the dark cave, like all these threats to our physical survival? What if, for a day or a month, or one year, how about for the next year of your life, all of that fear of the unknown was totally just removed, dissolved, and you had excitement and complete trust and you felt so safe in your body and your nervous system?

Speaker 1:

For a year, what would you do that you're not doing now? What would you do? What would be possible for you? How would you show up in your life? What risks would you take? They wouldn't even feel like risks anymore. They would be like fun experiments. Ooh, let's see what would happen if I did this. What if I said this? What if I tried this? You wouldn't be afraid of what anyone thought about you. You wouldn't be afraid of failing. You wouldn't be afraid of the unknown at all. What would be possible for you? There are dimensions of experience awaiting you that are much grander than the dimension of the body, brain. So why fear? Fear not, for I am with you, but the way that you get to these dimensions is by doing lots of plant medicine. No, I'm just kidding. This is the Scorpio in me coming out. This is the provocateur in me coming out.

Speaker 1:

Hey, I'm not saying those things are bad by any means. Like they absolutely play a role. They're helping a lot of people expand their consciousness. So this is not a judgment on them. All I'm trying to say is that, like some people can get really attached to them. You got to do this, you have to do this. This is the way. Well, nowhere in at least from what I've seen, nowhere in.

Speaker 1:

Not that the Bible is the authority, but let's just go with the way of mastery. Does Jeshua say any of that stuff? It can be a tool, it can be a part of the experience, but it's not the only way these trends happen and everybody gets caught up in them. It's like breath work. I don't care about the breath, but what it does. It's a tool to help me get out of my brain and connect with my heart and listen and connect to my soul. But there's lots of tools for that. So it's not about the thing itself, because no modality ever brought about healing. It's not the plants, it's not the techniques, it's not cognitive behavioral therapy, it's not any of the modalities that brought about healing. Only love brings healing.

Speaker 1:

So anyways, back back to this. The way you get to these other dimensions of experience that are much grander than this one is by bringing full awareness. That words in italics pay attention to it. It's emphasized for a purpose Full awareness to what you're choosing to experience in each and every moment now. Full presence, the power of now, by Eckhart Tolle. If you are not fully present, how are you going to be open to other dimensions of experience? You're not even right here and on what you are choosing we can't say this enough. I feel like I'm a broken record, but that's okay, because we need to hear it over and over and over again For what you are choosing to experience.

Speaker 1:

This goes back to lesson one and lesson two, the very beginning. I am the creator of everything, literally the creator of everything I experience, not my body, brain. That's where we get tied up. Why would I attract and why would I create poverty? Why would I create being abused? Why would I create hardship? Why would I create suffering? That's just a victim part of ourselves that says that Jeshua is speaking to our soul self, the higher self, the capital S self. That's the one creating everything. But we're not blind to the higher self, we're not disconnected from it. I guess I'm just at the mercy of my higher self and I'll see what it brings to me. That's when you're disconnected from it because you're so attached to and identified with this body, brain, personal self, your story of yourself, I'm, this gender, this age, from this country, these parents. You're so identified with all those things. So as you start to see the limitation they create on yourself which is from this lesson and you start to disidentify and identify with your higher self, you actually are clearing the channel so you can experience your higher self.

Speaker 1:

This stuff, as jeshua says, it's designed, it's made by design. All right, let's, let's do. Maybe one more paragraph. Jeshua says, for example, experiencing the soap on the skin in the morning shower wow, how amazing. Or a raindrop upon the cheek, the, the shiver against the cold, the sound of a cat meowing or the thoughts of a dog across the street, these things you call to yourself in this dimension. So bring full awareness of what you are choosing to call to yourself in this dimension. That's what Jeshua is saying is how you get to other dimensions that are much grander than this one as you outgrow them.

Speaker 1:

Simple. It's not saying make a million dollars. It's not saying have a six pack. It's not saying lose that other 10 pounds. It's not saying have kids that go to Harvard. It's not saying be recognized and win awards by your peers. It's not saying stay married for 30 years, Don't get divorced. It's not saying be recognized and win awards by your peers. It's not saying stay married for 30 years, don't get divorced. It's not saying stay out of prison. It's not saying pay your taxes. It's not saying any of that. It's the soap on the skin in your morning shower, like being present to every single thing you're choosing to call to yourself the rain upon your cheek, the shiver against the cold.

Speaker 1:

We went for a walk in this beautiful 600 acre private school that lets us walk, that lets our neighborhood use their trails. 600 acres, it's gorgeous Wooded trails, streams, ponds, a beautiful outdoor amphitheater, church because it's called Christ Church. It's a private boys school. It's been around since like 1907. It's amazing and we get to walk around it.

Speaker 1:

So I was walking there with my wife and one of our sons and it was in the afternoon, like 430. It's sunny but partly cloudy and started raining and a part of me we brought umbrellas because we knew it might and I was like, oh man, I want the dog to get wet and I don't mind if my shoes get wet, but if it's gonna keep raining like this, I'm just like going off. And then all of a sudden, whoa, whoa, and my wife helped me too. She's like what are you kidding me? This is so magical. And I was like, yeah, what the hell? Why am I whining and complaining about the rain? Who cares? The fucking dog sorry, the the dog gets wet. Who cares if your shoes get wet? Like this is magical. There's no lightning, you're not in any harm. And all of a sudden, like once, I saw that it was so magical. The afternoon rain was cool, but the sun was out and the trees and it's just just. And then it started raining on this pond. We walked by and it looked like there were sparkles on the surface of the pond and I was just able to be so much more present and enjoy it all.

Speaker 1:

It's the simple things the first sip of tea or coffee in the morning, whatever it is Enjoying and being in wonder and awe of life being present, this bringing full awareness to what you're choosing to experience right now, listening to my voice, what it sounds like in your ears, what it feels like in the body. Maybe you're driving, maybe you're walking your dog, maybe you're sitting at work. What does it? What it sounds like in your ears, what it feels like in the body Maybe you're driving, maybe you're walking your dog, maybe you're sitting at work. What does it feel like to sit in your chair? Like just being fully aware in each moment. This is what's available to us and that we are your higher self. You, at who you are, is your higher self. So when I say you, that's who I'm really speaking to is choosing to create this. You are is your higher self. So when I say you, that's who I'm really speaking to is choosing to create this. So it's all right here for us, all of it.

Speaker 1:

Oh man, this next paragraph is so beautiful I'm going to read it.

Speaker 1:

I'll probably start with it next weekend. Do you not want to taste it all? Do you not want to wrap yourself around it all? Do you not want to remember that magic is around you? Out of that magic, the moment you are experienced is being created from within your holy capital S self. It has never been, it will never be again. Mystery of all mysteries, dance of creation, reality of love. There is no higher state in the mind body than to live as one who has been blown away in italics, blown away and lives in that state perpetually. Then you're free and the world has no hold upon you.

Speaker 1:

He doesn't say well, only if a Democrat's president, but only if a Republican's president. Well, only if there's peace on earth and there's no more war. Well, only if they stop poisoning our food supply. Well, only if you live to be 85 years. Well, only if you don't get cancer. No, he doesn't say, and I could use a billion examples, right, because it doesn't matter.

Speaker 1:

No, what Jeshua is saying is out of the magic of life that is all around you, the moment, you are experienced as being created from within your holy self, who you truly are. You are creating it. Hallelujah for that. How empowering is that? Now, to a part of you it might be scary, but to the true part of you, it's freedom, it's liberation and it's love. When you love something, set it free. God loved you into expression and you are free to create, and what you create has never been. Even if you feel like you've done the same thing over and over again for years, it's a new creation in every moment. I remember thinking of a passage in the Way of Mastery where Joshua says like you are creating anew in each moment. Even if you turn your head slightly, you're seeing from a new perspective. It's a new creation. Like holy shit, how subtle is that. Everything is a creation. Can we see life this way? Can we see? That's how? That's what we are. We are constantly, ceaselessly creating, even as minute and subtle as that. It has never been and it will never be again.

Speaker 1:

Mystery of all mysteries, dance of creation, reality of love, exclamation point.

Speaker 1:

It's a mystery. You're not going to know it. Enjoy it, accept it, allow it, embrace it. Your brain wants to know. It Doesn't matter, your heart doesn't care, it just knows it's one with it. There's no higher state in the body, mind, than to live as one who's been blown away and lives in that state perpetually. That's what Christ lived in that state perpetually, in awe, in love, in expansiveness, seeing through the illusion of this body, mind, obsessed, material, physical, five senses, world, seeing through it all and living free. That's why we are so drawn to him and others who had the same message and lived and shared the same light. It's liberation. My kingdom is not of this world. You're not going to find it in the world, as hard as you might be looking. Then you are free and the world has no hold upon you. Amen, amen. And while we're here, let's enjoy it. Let's enjoy what we're creating, even creating what seems like limitation. Enjoy that too. Man, love you guys. So much, so grateful to be on this journey, to be a student with you.
