Speaker 1:

Hello and welcome back to the Daily Study of the Way of Mastery. I'm Jason Amoroso, your guide and friend, and today we continue with Lesson 14, the Wise Use of Time, and we begin Section 2,. Your Joy is Found in Extending your Treasure. So Jeshua continues, and he's referencing the previous couple paragraphs, where he basically says you have but one purpose In all dimensions of creation. Your sole purpose is to extend the Father's love. This is your only treasure. It is your reality as the unlimited, holy and only begotten Son of God. You are a field of consciousness through which the Father would extend himself. You are God extending itself. It's that simple. So Jeshua continues in section 2, saying this means that if this is your only treasure, your greatest joy will be discovered as you cultivate within yourself the habits of mind, the habits of body, the habits of choice that begin to align what you think, what you see and what you do with the truth. That is true always. Habits this is the key word in this section. Grow within yourself the habits of mind.

Speaker 1:

We've been given these exercises throughout the way of mastery. The habits of mind are taking radical responsibility that I am literally the creator of all that I experience, that all events, all things, all people are neutral, but no thought is neutral, that all forgiveness is really self-forgiveness, forgiving yourself for seeing or choosing to see incorrectly or from the ego. These are the habits of mind and it's a practice. What is a habit? It's something you repeatedly do. Excellence is not an act but a habit, says Aristotle. That's what the way is. We're given the way and then it's up to us to practice it. That's why we're given exercises. That's why, at least for me and this podcast, it's not about just getting through it and getting the information. You can understand God, you can think about God all day long, but if you're not knowing God, feeling God, knowing love, feeling love, being love, only choosing loving thoughts, then you're going to be like so many other people out there who say all the right things, who quote the Bible or whatever religious text, but then their actions are anything but loving and compassionate and kind and they're playing the victim.

Speaker 1:

Habits of mind, habits of body and habits of choice. What are you choosing? The habit is taking responsibility for every single choice that you make, every pebble that you drop, even if you don't have to psychoanalyze yourself. You don't have to understand where your issues came from. You don't have to understand why you self-sabotage. You don't have to understand why you self sabotage. You don't have to understand why you think you're unworthy. You don't have to. That's never said here in any of the way of mastery. You only have to recognize that in each moment you get to choose.

Speaker 1:

You know, I was had a call with a coaching client and we were talking about this and he was talking about this battle. He feels it's like the little devil on one shoulder, the little angel on one shoulder. But his battle that he's, that he feels like he's going through, is like the you know, the limiting, negative, self-critical. You're a loser. What's wrong with you? Why aren't you getting this right? This is taking too long. You suck and on the other side it's like I believe in you, I love you, I forgive you, keep going, you're amazing. And he has this battle. And so I asked him if he had ever heard the story of the two wolves and he said no. So I shared it with him and I'll share it with you now.

Speaker 1:

Many of you have probably heard this and I'm giving some, you know, paraphrased version of it that you know, a Native American grandfather is sitting with his grandson in front of the fire. And he says you know, grandson, inside of each person there are two wolves, and these two wolves are constantly battling with each other, they're constantly fighting. And the grandson's wide-eyed looking at him what the hell do you mean? Two wolves inside of each person? And he says, yes, one wolf is anger and jealousy and greed and hatred, and the other wolf is peaceful and loving and joyful, and they're battling each other. And and the grandson says, well, which one's gonna win? And the grandfather says whichever one you feed, it's that simple. Which voice inside of you are you going to feed? The voice of the ego, the voice of fear, the voice of lack, the voice of unworthiness, the voice of not enough, or the voice of truth, of love, of empowerment, of joy, of peace?

Speaker 1:

You get to choose your circumstance. What's happening around you or even to you, does not matter. That is, how much free will and how powerful you are. You get to choose. Someone's trying to falsely imprison you? Doesn't matter. Someone's trying to crucify you? Doesn't matter. Someone's trying to crucify you Doesn't matter. Someone's trying to attack you, ruin your reputation? Doesn't matter. Someone's trying to insult you? It doesn't matter. You get to choose what your experience will be, they can do whatever they need to do.

Speaker 1:

Now, again, this is so on. This is not the way of the world, but my kingdom is not of this world and it is in the habits of thinking like this where your thoughts, your feelings and your actions are all in alignment with the choice for God, the choice for love. This is when you become unstoppable and this is when you become, according to this paragraph, joyful. Your joy will be found as you recognize that you exist to extend your treasure. That's it. That's why you exist. Not to make a lot of money. Leave a legacy behind. Take care of your kids, leave them money behind. Not to get awards and plaques and recognition. Not to get awards and plaques and recognition. Not to survive.

Speaker 1:

You exist solely S-O-U-L from your soul and solely S-O-L-E. Singularly, to extend love, because that's what you are, and we all know that if we're doing anything else, it's draining on us. That's why so many people are tired and overwhelmed. You're not extending love. You're not being that which you are. You are using so much energy to not be who you are, to pretend to people please, to think in terms of lack and limitation and scarcity and unworthiness.

Speaker 1:

That takes more energy to be something other than you are being yourself is natural. It's easy. That's why, if you want to fly, give up the shit that weighs you down. It's all the extra crap. It's like addition by subtraction. You just get rid of all the lies and the misunderstandings and the wounds and the falsehoods about who we think we are, and then life becomes effortless. And as you do so, as you extend your treasure, you immediately add to your father's treasure, whose only will is to extend that which he is forever. As this airplane goes over and tries to ruin our audio but we're not going to let it ruin our audio. We're not editing that out, let's go as you do so, as you extend your treasure, you immediately add to your father's treasure, whose only will is to extend that which he of self, of who we think we are. Well, if I'm really kind and loving, people will walk over me. If I'm really kind and loving, I won't get what I need to survive. If I'm really kind and loving, something bad will happen. We all can relate to that thinking, and so that keeps us from being the presence of love.

Speaker 1:

There's one person I've ever met in my entire life. His name is Steve Hardison. He's my coach Look him up. The ultimate coach dot net, I think, is his website who truly embodies the Christ consciousness, like holy WHOLOY, completely. And to be in his presence, to learn from him, to be coached by him, was a great honor. To learn from him, to be coached by him, was a great honor and it really Allowed me to experience what's possible, who I can really be if I let go of the fear, if I let go of the stories. It's tremendous, it's incomprehensible. Let's continue.

Speaker 1:

Jeshua says the grand thing about love with a capital L is this it does not require any set of conditions to exist before it does. How is this different than some of the things you experience in life? Love needs no conditions to exist before it shows up, because it is everything, it is the essence of everything. We've just forgotten that We've just told ourselves a story that in order to experience love, in order to receive love, some condition must happen, something. I need my mother to approve of me or nurture me in the way that I want. In order to receive love, my mother needs to do something for me. My father needs to be a certain way. My bank account needs to look a certain way. My body, my body in order to receive love. My body needs to look a certain way in order to receive love. The people around me need to like me or love me or approve of me or be happy with me. In order to receive love, the government needs to look a certain way. The president needs to be a certain person In order to receive love. Those other people who are pro-abortion or pro-life, they need to change their mind. They need to agree and think like me. They need to see it the way I see it.

Speaker 1:

In order to receive love, I need to be spiritual. I need to be, uh, get god's approval. Somehow. I don't know how. I've been trying my whole life, but somehow I gotta get god's approval. Good things happen. That that's it. When. When good things happen to me, then I know that I'm on god's good side. But when, when bad things happen to me, I'm doing something wrong, I'm making God angry in some way. That's how we think. In order to receive or feel love, I need to be different. I need to be better. I need to erase my past, I need to atone for my sins in order to receive love.

Speaker 1:

All of these, it's us, don't you see? It's us, it's you, it's me, it's each individual putting all this extra crap on top of it. And the grand thing about love is that it needs no set of conditions, no requirements to exist to be present. You need do nothing that goes against the world. In the world, you got to prove, you got to earn it, you got to be worthy of it. You got to get it somehow. That's the way of the world. But my kingdom is not of this world. And you are allowed to not only allowed, it's your birthright to experience this while you're still in a body. You don't have to be like the world. That's why Jeshua stands out.

Speaker 1:

The ones who are that live this kind of radical truth. The world rejects. But guess what? The radical truth liver doesn't give a shit. I don't care if everyone rejects me. I'm living in radical truth. I know who a shit. I don't care if everyone rejects me. I'm living in radical truth. I know who I am, I know what it is. I know what God is, I know it's inside of me, I know I am it, it is me. I know each person. Even if they're rejecting me, they're it too. So I just love because that's what I am. So I don't give a crap. If anyone approves of me, likes me, follows me, doesn't like me, I know what's up. That's what we're being invited into. Isn't that freedom?

Speaker 1:

And Jeshua asks us how is this different than some of the things you experience in life as a body? There are certain conditions that must exist before the body can be satiated with food or water. There must be certain conditions that are met before the body stops shivering against the cold. Your world is based on the topsy-turvy perception that conditions must be met before there can be a choice for peace instead of war, for forgiveness instead of judgment, for love instead of fear. Therefore, you think, when the conditions outside of me change, then I'll make the choice for love. So this is pause and reflection time when, like, just honestly, look at your life, take a minute maybe write it down on paper, because there's something about writing something down where you see it. So not only do you write it down, you get it out of your head onto onto paper, into, like, the physical, but you see it as well and it reinforces it.

Speaker 1:

Where in your life be honest with yourself? Where in your life, be honest with yourself? Where in your life are you wanting or demanding that something or someone change for you to feel a certain way, for you to feel at peace. Maybe you just are so attached to this need to be right and someone else needs to be wrong for you to feel at peace. Maybe you need the business deal to go through so you can feel confident and loving towards yourself, because that's the evidence. Look, if I'm worthy and lovable and enough, then the deal will go through and I'll get the money and the recognition and I'll be successful. Where are you hoping your body will change before you can completely love and accept yourself Yourself? Not your body. You're not the body. Just love and accept yourself.

Speaker 1:

Notice all the conditions that you place Anything you want to feel. If you're not feeling it, you're placing a condition on it. If you're not feeling peaceful, you are placing a condition on peace. That's just truth. Now, let's just acknowledge our ego doesn't like it. It's true.

Speaker 1:

If you're waiting for peace in the Middle East for you to feel peaceful never going to happen because you're waiting for something outside. And if there happens to be peace in the Middle East, then you'll find some other problem to not be at peace, some other conflict that needs to be solved for you to feel peace. If you're waiting for someone to apologize to you before you can forgive them, you're going to be waiting forever. Feel love and forgiveness and compassion inside of yourself, regardless of what they're doing. That's the freedom, that's the flex. The flex is you get to feel and be exactly what your heart is desiring, without anything having to happen. Like that's it. That's the fucking good news. Are you seeing it? Are you applying it in your life? Are you looking? Because you're not going to make a change if you don't recognize and really look at all the things. You're waiting to happen.

Speaker 1:

Well, my business needs to be successful in order for me to feel relaxed and at peace and lovable and worthy, because how can I feel worthy and lovable and enough if I'm struggling to pay my bills? Right, it's that belief. It is that belief, and this is the work of Dr Joe Dispenza, this is the work of many teachers that are inviting you to move into the feeling before the thing happens. And here's the key, though and I know I've done this and I'm betting some of you have done this where you do that right, you're like okay, I want to manifest, I want to manifest, so let me move into the feeling of having it already and then it'll manifest faster, then I'll get it.

Speaker 1:

But don't you see that that whole line of psychology is actually coming from lack? You're not moving into the feeling of it for the joy of just feeling it. You have a hidden agenda that if I feel it, then I'll get what I want. Then I'll get what I want, then I'll get what I'm lacking. That's actually what's happening. That's why so many people don't manifest the thing that they're trying to get, because they're coming from lack to manifest. You can't manifest from lack.

Speaker 1:

Manifestation is an effortless, natural part of life that comes from an abundance, from a wholeness, part of life that comes from an abundance, from a wholeness. Wholeness creates wholeness. Lack creates lack. That's why manifestation courses and teachings don't work for so many people's, because they're coming to it from a place of lack, hoping it's going to cure their lack. It doesn't work that way. So, anyways, there are no conditions to whatever feeling you are wanting Peace, love, acceptance, joy, these qualities of the divine generosity.

Speaker 1:

There's no condition. You don't need money to be generous. That's one very so narrow, limited definition of generosity. Money, same with abundance. Money is just such a limited definition of abundance. Abundance is overflowing more than enough. Or, as Bashar shares, abundance is that you have what you need when you have it. How is that not abundant? Whenever I need something, I've got it. That's abundant. All my needs are met. Why do I need overflowing more? I have what I need and everybody has abundance inside of them. If they're not experiencing, they're doing something inside of it. They're dropping certain pebbles that are just blocking that abundance. It's not their fault, it's just cause and effect. So you're not responsible for anyone else's abundance.

Speaker 1:

Your world is based on the topsy-turvy perceptions that conditions must be met before you can choose and be and feel the thing. That's it, mic drop jeshua. So let's stop there. Do the work. Look, take an honest look at yourself, write it down. Spend five minutes. Write these things down. What are you wanting to happen in order to feel something? And how do I know that? And I do this all the time with people, my coaching clients, with our group of Living the Way Mastery, and it's so simple. The mind rejects it a lot of times or doesn't agree that it's that simple is?

Speaker 1:

You close your eyes and you just imagine. Use your imagination. Your imagination is consciousness. Imagine what it would feel like to win the lottery and to never have to worry about money again. Just try and imagine it. What would that feel like? Like play, like you know, fantasize, daydream, oh my God, that would feel amazing. All of a sudden, all the stress would go off my body. I would feel joyful, I would feel like I could, you know, really help people. I would go on that vacation, I would visit that place that I always wanted to visit, oh my God.

Speaker 1:

And you're feeling the feeling that you would have if you won the lottery or if you found the one, if you think there's one person out there, oh my gosh, I would feel so fulfilled, I would feel so seen, I would feel so loved. I would be able to relax, I would feel lovable. And I'm feeling that right now, as I'm talking about. But the second I open my eyes, look, that's not in my life. I can't feel that way until that's in my life. That's what we do, but you were feeling it two seconds ago, when you were imagining it, and the feeling was real.

Speaker 1:

You can't fake a feeling. You can try and intellectualize a feeling, but you're not feeling it. You can talk about anger all day long, not feel angry. You can talk about God all day long and not feel God. You can talk about love all day long, which some people do, and not feel loving at all, but you can use your imagination Boom, you instantly feel that feeling. That means it's already inside of you. You don't need anything to happen.

Speaker 1:

This is the fucking good news. This is a good word. You can live from this place. You're allowed to Live from that place and see what happens. Be those things. Be the things that you're allowed to live from that place and see what happens. Be those things. Be the things that you're wanting and hoping and working so hard to receive and to feel and to be be him now and watch what happens.

Speaker 1:

The, the, the, the gift is in the being of them, not what you think you're gonna get. That's manipulation again. That's coming from lack. All right, all right, I can keep going. Love you guys. Thanks for being on this journey. Uh, this is so valuable for me too. That's why I teach this stuff, that's why I share it, that's why I live it, because I want to learn it even more, I want to embody it even more, and so I'm grateful to be on this journey with you, sending you love right where you are, wherever you are, whatever you're moving through is for you. There's wisdom in it if you're willing to stay with yourself, to keep your heart open not close it to yourself to feel whatever energy is there inside of you, to feel it fully, not to resist it. That's the key to letting go is to feel fully and to bring your heart back to its desire to reside in oneness with God, to feel and be the presence of love. That's what we all desire. Keep coming back to that over and over again. If you don't know what that looks like, ask your heart, ask God, ask the divine, ask Jeshua, ask your angels. What does love look like in here, in this situation? How does love want to be expressed through me, maybe first to myself and then to whatever person or situation is there. I'm going to choose love, even if it's hard, even if it's uncomfortable, even if I'm afraid that if I choose love I'll be hurt in some way. I'm going to choose love.
