How I Got It Made (#1)
Mar 27, 2022 Season 1 Episode 4
Women in Film and Video (DC)

In this recurring series, host Candice Bloch takes you inside the world of how a project gets made. Through discussions with creators about their individual journey on a particular completed production, we gain insights about what it takes to bring a vision to fruition. Whether hearing about process or logistics, lessons or advice, these success stories of bringing a project to life can be informative and inspiring.

On this episode: Robin Noonan-Price talks about directing the short, "Tell Me About Orange," a coming-of-age story about expressing and navigating young love. And then Mark Maxey first talks about producing the documentary feature, "Up to Snuff," which is a star-studded journey about the incredible life and career of prolific musician and composer W.G. "Snuffy" Walden. And later he discusses a bit about two upcoming narrative features, "As They Made Us" and "Space Oddity."
