These chats about repair (our stuff, ourselves and our communities) range from mending textiles to the repair of broken bones, from up-cycling in the pandemic to community conflict in Bangladesh, from home made Punk Clothes to celebrating scars. ⓜ.ⓤ.ⓓ is a group for Lewisham-borough-based 18-25-year-olds wanting to commune with the natural world. They cultivate an LGBTQIA+ and neurodivergent-centred space. Meeting every Wednesday at Sydenham Garden, they share skills, follow tangents, and practice community. A typical session might see them: sowing seed and tending to their crops, naturally dyeing fabrics and sewing, learning to bind books, exposing cyanotypes, making music, cooking for each other etc… The group is facilitated by Lauren Goddard, a gardener and creative who's worked in therapeutic horticulture for the past 7 years.
