This week, we're heading to Southern Africa to learn about a disparate getaway that includes not only safaris, but the cultural city life, active adventures and a taste of art & history. 

Scott Simpson,  grew up enjoying the bush in a Land Rover with a tent on top, where his adventurous parents exposed him to the beauty of the world through safaris and other rugged getaways. After growing up in South Africa, he moved to the UK and was introduced to the luxury travel industry. His former knowledge and current business venture led him back to South Africa managing ecolodges before meeting his wife and moving to her hometown, Tampa, to start their own business. 

On today’s episode, we are talking about the South as a great destination with so many different things to offer. A typical safari can last up to two weeks long and is full of rigorous daily activities.
