Jill Carr talks to Jamie Segerstrom, a Retirement Specialist, about what you should think about during the Medicare Open Enrollment period.

Jamie Segerstrom became interested in helping other seniors get proper health care coverage after helping her own parents. She was able to get them expensive medications for zero dollars due to her research. This led her to starting a career in insurance, where she reviews and places adults in insurance plans to help them get the best and lowest cost health care coverage. She is passionate about having people keep their hard-earned money.

Once a year, Medicare gives its more than 60 million beneficiaries a chance to step back, review their coverage and make any changes that will help them get the best out of the federal government’s health insurance program for adults age 65 and over and people with disabilities.

But experts say too many enrollees overlook this annual opportunity to possibly save money and improve their coverage, listen to this podcast for helpful tips.

You can get help on your own situation by contacting Jamie Segerstrom at (989) 941-9381 or emailing her at jamiesegerstrom@hotmail.com.
