Warning the Shackaloo podcast is a podcast created by two XD-generous that think they know sports gambling and spent their younger days breaking bookies and never hedging. We are not experts on anything, and everything we say should be taken with a grain of salt. We do not condone illegal sports gambling and all gambling should be done responsibly. If you have a gambling problem, call 1-800-GAMBLER.

Speaker 2:

Hello everyone and welcome to the Shackaloo podcast and Merry Christmas to you guys all. By the time we record our next one, christmas will come and go, just like me on your mom. Anyway, it's also a podcast where we're used to shirts and skins, playing games and basketball and football, and nowadays, thanks to Rashard Menendhal, it is blacks and whites. So that's what we're rolling with here. I'm one of the hosts for today, anthony.

Speaker 3:

Hey, mech back here with the Made on Ridgeway Sports Podcast.

Speaker 2:

Back for another one. Let's do it. Alright, kurt, I want you to touch on your boy. What is your boy thinking by making those comments? Because he did the opposite of what I think he was trying to do. I think he was just trying to stir up some controversy, you know, some clickbait, going make himself relevant again. But I think he did the opposite, because he ended up bringing more media people together, you know, to actually put together some of these teams. And you know, obviously, with what he said, being a black man, obviously saying that black people would smoke the shit out of white people when it came, and then a lot of these analysts and stuff are now saying don't sleep on the white people because they'll beat you with five tight ends if they have to, and those are some pretty good tight ends. So it was kind of funny. So what did you think he was trying to do with that? Do you think that? You know that's your boy? You know that's somebody from your team?

Speaker 3:

I feel like he's. He feels attacked because everybody blames him for the fumble and why we lost that game, which was the Super Bowl, about 13 years ago, and I feel like he just crossed the line he really shouldn't have. I mean race, as we know, it is such a sensitive topic and I really don't know what his point was trying to say that people who are white and our average shouldn't be talking in the media about football, when I don't know what that has to do with that at all. Like it doesn't matter what color you are. A lot of the people in the media don't know what they're talking about anyways. Yeah for sure.

Speaker 3:

It's, I don't know the whole race thing is just, it's crossing the line, like I don't even know why you're still talking about it, like dude, just. And then he got mad when Jason Whitlock came at him about his wife being Caucasian, when she's not.

Speaker 2:

And then he fact checked him and then Whitlock came back at him Like I don't know what he's, what he's trying to accomplish, like now, this is what I want to know what do we do with all like the Polynesians and and you know, there's a couple of Asians in the NFL, a couple of Native Americans where do they go? Like, I mean, if we're doing an all whites versus all black team, exactly how is that? Who gets through? You know, you know what, if, what, if, what, if? The mix, the mixed races here, the, the, half black the white or is he black?

Speaker 2:

Are we good? Is there going to be a rule now where, like, hey, if your mom is black, is there going to be a rule Is black, you're on the black team, if your mom is white, you're on the white team, you know? Do something like that. How does that exist, you know? I wonder how that's actually going to work. Maybe he should come out. He's got to elaborate a little bit.

Speaker 2:

There's a lot to unpack in those comments. Yes, like, for instance, like you know, like dude, like cause, cause, cause. He's sitting there saying I mean that for all we know, somebody's dad might have been an NFL really good athlete. That's a black dude, he's a mixed dude, right, and he might have been white and he'd be like you know what my dad would actually like? Smoke, you like that. Like he's pretty, you know what I mean, stuff like that. Um, but it's kind of funny because the guy who's the two you know, the guy who's leading, I would say would probably should be winning MVP right now of the league is a white running back which you don't normally see. Anyway, you can not tell me that Christian McCaffrey, at a predominantly black position, isn't the best running back in the NFL right now.

Speaker 3:

No, he absolutely is. He. He's leading the league in Russian by such a wide margin. It's crazy and honestly I think he should be getting MVP votes, but um he should be. It's it's comment quote was sick of average white guys commenting on football there was. Why did you have to go there?

Speaker 2:

Why is it going to be average white guy? Why can't it just be average dudes?

Speaker 3:

Average people in the media. That's what it is. It's like maybe he's just I mean, maybe he's he's going to be coming out with something.

Speaker 2:

Watch like he's going to be coming out with some kind of podcast or documentary or YouTube page or some shit like that, and what happens? You've got to say crazy things to get people to notice you, because I'll tell you what I completely forgot about him. I'm like men and all men, all men, all I was like.

Speaker 2:

Oh okay, okay, yeah, sorry, dude, you're relevant Like that. I mean, as you get old, a lot of these players that played now, when you know when OG fact checker who's in the room, what up? Og fact checker Say what up, what's up? Oh, come on, give give him, give him a big what up. What's up yeah?

Speaker 2:

Give it up for OG fact checker. So, um, but yeah, no, I just want to touch on that a little bit because I think that that's going to be a fun pack, Like it's going to be a fun thing for people to poke fun of. Um, I should get one of my black friends on here, so that way we can do like a a black and white draft and say okay, I'm doing all time.

Speaker 3:

We would have a, there'd be a chance, but the problem is there are no white corners, so right, but how do?

Speaker 2:

there are some bad ass rushers though, defensive white defensive linemen. You might not need good corners with some of the defensive linemen. You're talking about both of the Watts, right?

Speaker 3:

Yeah.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, yeah, at least them, you know what I'm saying. Safeties, john Lynch. There's some bad ass safeties that used to be out there that are. That are white dudes. So maybe you're right, maybe not at corner, maybe maybe they'll give us Portland, uh, cortland, finnegan. Maybe we'll get a little color on them.

Speaker 3:

I'm not backing Maybe Little white, little uh cappuccino.

Speaker 2:

Or something. I don't know, I don't know, like, like, uh, and then you're talking about, you know, one of the greatest all time at quarterback is a white dude in Tom Brady, and then he's got Christian McCaffrey you know what I mean and then he's got Gronk Travis Kelsey. I mean there's a and there's a lot of good white offensive linemen too, like they're. You like I mean, yeah, we might not have any corners, but your offense might be sitting on the sideline for a long time.

Speaker 4:

Man, this is true, I just say at coin toss, take the ball, take the ball.

Speaker 2:

That coin toss, we'll get the ball first.

Speaker 3:

Receive yeah.

Speaker 2:

That does not.

Speaker 2:

That doesn't mean there's not some badass pass rush, you know pass rushers and uh, you know, um, the black side. But you know, that's is what it is, but it's, it's, it's. It's just so funny that, especially in today's age, where we're so separated from like each other, like everybody is like a black and white thing all the time, like racism, like, you know, social, you know social injustice and stuff like that and all that stuff that had happened, especially with 2020 and all that, how, like we were all very divided, that that comment actually brought people together, like are we evolving? You know, are we actually, as a society, like, well, at least a sports society? Because that's a thing, that's a great thing.

Speaker 2:

This is where you can say sports brings people together because it brought a lot of people together. You know white friends and black friends that are talking with each other, talking about who would play on what side, and it's more of a game now. It's more of like a yeah, this would be kind of fun, like let's, let's do that, you know definitely, definitely creates, uh, some good conversation.

Speaker 2:

And it does, and I think that wasn't the intent. I don't think I think he was meant meant to start controversy. I think that's what he was trying to do trying to like some kind of hot topic and be stupid like 90% of these people out here are doing, and it backfired. Um, I just I don't see. I just I don't, I don't know what, what his deal was. So, but with that said, uh, we're going to, we're going to get into some of these, uh, these bets here and talk about some of these games, which, for college, is pretty much nothing. A couple of things happened in the transfer portal. Um, I said, uh, mccord goes to Syracuse over the weekend, you know, for you Ohio State fans. And when Michigan at all, blake Corum decided to go out to, uh, oregon or anything like that.

Speaker 3:

No, we got a. We got a transfer blindbacker from, I want to say, Maryland, but a few commits today. Um, nothing really big with the portal, though, pretty sure. But uh. I mean, man that changes, that's kind of changed on the fly so much year to year.

Speaker 2:

Oh yeah, it's gonna be interesting. They could change whenever. I just think McCord's a little bit of a punk because you know he got out of dodge because he was probably getting hounded for losing to Michigan. You know what I mean. And that's. That's sad man. Gross and balls, gross and balls. Uh yeah, do you have anything for college, man, or should I just run through the two couple picks that I have here?

Speaker 3:

Um, the only games that really caught my eye, like we talked about earlier, was the Utah Northwestern game. Um, if I'm looking at that, I'm probably going to go with the Utes on that one. The Utes, yeah, it looks like uh, mighty six and a half. Okay. I think they cover that. I think they cover that. I think they went and probably bought a touchdown. Honestly, that's gonna be from Las Vegas, las Vegas.

Speaker 2:

Uh where, where you just went, man, uh it was. It was party town down there. Uh, look like you guys had a little bit of fun. I looked like a sausage fest in the pool that you guys were in. Though that's all I'm going to say. I, you know, I didn't see, you know, I just you know, I saw. At one point, I think I saw Chandler grinding up on Hunter. It was such a sausage fest over there. So, and Hunter's not here to defend himself, so I can say that all I want.

Speaker 3:

Yeah.

Speaker 2:

And all of a sudden we're. What's that. I said how was it?

Speaker 1:

Oh man, what did you guys do down there? So I'm like, oh man, what's that? Look so cool.

Speaker 2:

Do you? Go check out the Las Vegas stadium.

Speaker 3:

No. At all no. No man, there's so much to do there that like there's. If you went there for a week, you wouldn't even be able to scratch the surface of everything that's in Vegas. Like look, every hotel has casinos in it. That's where all the clubs are. It was it's not stopped. Busy down there, I mean, that city never sleeps. It could be 2am, 3am, 4am. It's not stopped. We went to the Hoover Dam, which was really awesome to go see.

Speaker 3:

We did that Sunday and watching games watching NFL games from 10am to damn near like 7, 6pm was totally different, totally totally out of my life.

Speaker 2:

It was different, but it was a problem. Yeah, I was saying it was probably nice because you wake up and get football. You don't have to wait till one o'clock and then, like the late game is over at like 6, 7. Yep, you know.

Speaker 1:

and then you can start your night.

Speaker 2:

If you're living in Vegas, you can start yeah, you can start your night and go out and do some things.

Speaker 3:

Definitely good time, and there will be a part two to that trip, because, only being there for a couple of days, we only got to do a couple of things.

Speaker 1:

Well, you gotta, let you gotta, and we got to see the old trip.

Speaker 3:

We got to see old trip where it's called Fremont Street, where Vegas is made Main strip used to be. We went there and that place was popping. That place was wild dude.

Speaker 2:

Well, you got to let me know when you guys are going, man, and then we'll record live from Vegas.

Speaker 3:

Yeah, you know what I'm saying.

Speaker 2:

I had out there and we'll have the casinos behind us. We'll just sit on the strip. We'll just sit on the strip and have all the street performers behind us and all that with the bright lights and all that good stuff.

Speaker 3:

Yeah, just don't take any pictures with them, because they charge way too much.

Speaker 2:

What are they going to do, like if I just take a cell phone, they're trying to finesse Hunter for $80 a picture.

Speaker 3:

What the fuck is that?

Speaker 2:

Listen, if I'm taking a selfie, you have to be in the background. That's on you, bro. We can fight about it.

Speaker 3:

These people are here in Vegas. Yo, the money, the pricing out there is wild it is wild, I bet.

Speaker 2:

So like. So what do you mean? Like a picture? Like, say, I'm taking a selfie and my man juggling the bowling ball pins happens to be like in the far background. Is he going to come up, run up on me and be like yo, you got a paper?

Speaker 3:

No, I want to talk about that Like, like girls who are like and skimp your office, oh those those little yeah Okay.

Speaker 2:

So yeah, the showgirls kind of walking around and doing things, oh okay, see, I thought you meant like if you're taking a picture yourself and like a guy pops in behind you like a magician and he's like got his little thing. He's like poses, like if he's photo bombing, and then he tries to come and be like oh, you owe me 20 bucks for that picture, I was like no, we'll fight about it right now. Like well, we can fight in the middle of the street. You can magically get your ass whooped.

Speaker 3:

No, they're not like that.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, you're going to find out that these fists are magically delicious. Bro, Get the fuck away from me.

Speaker 3:

Yeah, no, but I definitely think everyone should at least go to Vegas once. It's fantastic, they're really cool.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, I bet how much I've roughly. You don't have to give me an exact number roughly between like hotels and like flying fees. How much was it? Spitball me a number. You don't have to break out the calculator.

Speaker 3:

For us to stay there from Friday to Monday with. The flight was about 700.

Speaker 2:

Just like for you. So 700 a person, yeah.

Speaker 1:

For all for you.

Speaker 2:

Okay, all right, that's not bad. No, you would expect that You're talking about like flights Usually yeah, no, no, because usually flights I mean flights anyway. Like my flight to Florida was like 300 bucks round trip.

Speaker 3:

So I mean you know it's, it's yeah, but the thing is the reason why I actually found this out when we were there just just looking around like hotels there are actually very cheap because they want you to stay there and spend your money. Yes, yeah, like we when we were on the strip. I just Googled it like looking up reservations for, like Cesar's Palace, mandalay Bay, the Bellagio, like I found you could stay there for like 30 bucks a night. Sorry, god, no, no, no. Like last few days I've been in deals.

Speaker 2:

No wonder the dudes from the hangover just kept extending their stay. It wasn't that much to begin with.

Speaker 3:

Yeah, like they sent me text messages the last day like, oh, extend your stay for one more night for 60 bucks, I was like, should I wish?

Speaker 2:

But I got good to work. Oh man, that's good you guys. I'm glad you guys had fun. You just got to let your big brother know next time you guys go, because you know we can.

Speaker 3:

Oh yeah, I, I don't we plan to have more people there next time, because I've never been to Vegas, but we'll have.

Speaker 2:

Oh, I don't know how many years it is, but you have to be 18 or 21 to go into those hotels and casino in Vegas. In Vegas, what is the Vegas rule there? I? Wait a couple years.

Speaker 3:

I feel like. So A lot of them were cool with 18 year olds, but some of them were. It's kind of weird the way the rules are there.

Speaker 2:

I'm only asking, I'm just going to.

Speaker 3:

Code and.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, oh, gee, fact checkers only got two more years.

Speaker 3:

Oh man, all of them would not be ready for that, I'll tell you that right now?

Speaker 2:

Oh, it's too chill.

Speaker 4:

He'd be like I'd rather go to. A small Boyle would be lost.

Speaker 3:

Drink some OJ.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, speaking of speaking of OJ, the bills take out the Cowboys this weekend. Um, so, uh, I know we talked about it last week, yeah, and I said it was going to be a waxing. I was like I could tell. I said Gufalo is too desperate. Uh, cowboys are going to make the playoffs regardless. Bills are too desperate, um, and dude they though. This is, this is.

Speaker 2:

I just don't understand why. Why teams outsmart themselves. Because everybody knows Dallas is prone to the run. How do you beat Michael Parsons? You run to him, uh, cause he's a pass rusher, like he tries to get to quarterback. He just run right past the dude. And these teams just outthink it, right, like the Eagles, for instance, fucking six runs in the first half, six runs in the first half of that Dallas game. When they got their asses beat, um, you know, the bill said you know what, hold my beer, we're going to run it 36 times, we're going to run it 30 times and it worked. Um so, so Dallas gets the thrashing, um, but then the Eagles go and they, uh, they pooped the bed. Uh, you know, fucking the, you know next day. So we'll talk about that a little bit. But Thursday night game uh, is your bollis, pittsburgh versus Pittsburgh versus Cincinnati, and it's only a one and a half point line.

Speaker 3:

That's not the Thursday night game.

Speaker 2:

That's uh. That's your game. That's Saturday evening game.

Speaker 2:

See, I'm going comic book style my paper here. Um, yeah, you're right, new Orleans and LA Rams. I got it written down. I got the pig, but uh, I probably should have wrote the time next to it. But okay, so new. Uh, new Orleans and the LA Rams were good, let's talk about it. Um, the Rams are on the come up. New Orleans is kind of staying pat a little bit, but the way the LA Rams are playing and they're at home, I got the LA Rams minus four and a half.

Speaker 3:

Yes, Stafford has been playing really good the past couple of weeks. I think he's thrown 12 touchdowns, maybe one reception, like the past three or four games. Um, getting the running back car run Williams was big for them. Um, minus four and a half. This is a big game, honestly, for both teams trying to get in as that seventh seed. Somehow. The Rams are right in there, just cause the way the playoffs are looking. I do have the Rams covering the minus four and a half. Not sure the saints man, I just. I mean they, they won, they beat against, they did beat the giants with ease, like they should have. And the, uh, the Rams, uh, I don't remember who they'd be.

Speaker 2:

Oh, the the commanders, yeah, the commanders, yeah, I got the Rams, uh, covered in the four and a half, yeah, and then you know, like, like I said, and I think honestly we talked to, like I said, we, uh, they're on the come up too, so and they're trying, like you said, they're trying to hit that spot. So I mean they might even blow the friggin New Orleans out, because that division itself, the South, is just awful, completely awful. Um, yeah, okay, but then, but then then, yeah, then now there is the, uh, sunday games or Saturday games. Um, one of the local teams is playing in the Cincinnati Bengals, and your team, the Pittsburgh Steelers, so we're going to talk about that. Um, browning, you know, kind of, kind of came down to earth a little bit, just a little bit.

Speaker 2:

You know, he's I mean, it wasn't. They were in trouble there for a minute. It took a, it took, it took T Higgins making it a spectacular play. Yes, you know what I mean. Um, typical OT. Yeah, so you know, I think I think that magic runs out a little bit, but I still I don't. I keep trying to ride the Pittsburgh train and they let me down every time I pick them. So I'm going Cincinnati minus one and a half. I'm going Browning and the magic master here and going to take them. What do you think?

Speaker 3:

about the team there. Yeah, break it down for us. I was. I was sipping pregame, having a good old time when I was watching that game. That was a really good game with Minnesota and Cincinnati. Um, I do have the bangles covering the minus one and a half. I think they're going to win. We played about four weeks ago with Browning first started and we beat them 16 to 10. So I think we'll split with the bangles Pittsburgh. Right now we are just we're toast, we are toast. Well, you guys are.

Speaker 2:

Are you guys? Did you guys? Um, you guys are out now, right, or do you still have a chance to make the playoffs?

Speaker 3:

We have a chance to make the playoffs, but it's very slim, very slim. Right now we're the 10th seed and um, we've lost three straight pick. It might play Saturday, but they set up Rudolphs, it's going to be the starters and all more Mr Biscay, but the offense just can't score points, though. The bangles are going to be without Jamar Chase, so that's a big loss for them, but we are not playing yeah, yeah I don't even know what his deal was.

Speaker 3:

We're not playing very good and um, I expect this shit show to continue to be honest with you.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, that's a beautiful thing though, man, like when you know your team's no good, you can just fucking go into the game and not get mad and not rile yourself up because you just you already know right. It's like like I'm like you know, I'm like my shit, where I'm fucking losing my fucking mind every week. So far we've lost three weeks.

Speaker 3:

We're at a bit. We're at a bit of different stages with kind of our expectations. I mean it's just we just faded, we blew it, so I uh, I had the bangles covering. I think this will probably I don't see us getting throttled like we did against the Colts, but no, no, you guys got too good of a defense to get throttled. That's what I thought too. But God or Minch you just, we got shredded man.

Speaker 3:

Well, yeah, in all fairness, though, when Mitch throws those picks like that, you know you can three turnovers and a hundred yards of penalties will do that to you, especially on the road you know, rudolph, what off should be okay. Yeah, I don't. I don't expect much to change other than hopefully not as many turnovers, which will hopefully keep us in the game, but I had the bangles winning and I think we're gonna lose four straight, so yeah.

Speaker 2:

Ah, man, coming down to the wire only a few weeks left, three weeks left, and then we got Cleveland at Houston. Houston is a two and a half point underdog at home. Cleveland, you know their defense is keeping them in games and flacco kind of. He did come back down a little bit but he still did fairly well. But it's in Houston and I know CJ Stroud is out, but but Um, d'amico Ryan really has that defense playing well and that team playing well and is at home. I'm taking Cleveland may win in a slim game, but I'm at least taking Houston with the points. Give me two and a half points with the Houston Texans. And you know I like what, like I said, I like what D'Amico Ryan's is doing out there. I know, and and chate, case not case, can't case, kingdom right, well, how's?

Speaker 1:

the fuck you since back up or back.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, he's, he is a good game manager. I mean, he own nearly took. He nearly took the fucking Vikings to the Super Bowl one year. So yeah, we'll see what happens. And what do you think about your division rivals out there going going to Texas?

Speaker 3:

Yeah, I gotta say this much Hunter and I were Keeping close eyes on this one as Cleveland was down ten and the fourth and I said they're gonna come back. I, this Cleveland team, is just different. They're able to escape with flak. Oh, throwing three interceptions, and I think if he does that this week they ever look a chance of losing. But I don't know if anyone else saw this, but the bear should have called a Hail Mary. Yeah, no, I saw that.

Speaker 2:

Right in his belly and then kicked it up and he absolutely choked that game.

Speaker 3:

But I do have Cleveland covering the miners two and a half, mainly because Stroud is reportedly not gonna play. Okay kind of what you said. I don't they case loses them the game, but I just don't think they score enough points, as Flacco maybe looks to be More than capable of winning them. Some games, so it depends on what flak.

Speaker 2:

Oh, there's tape on flacco now, so it just depends on you know. You know, the last few games there hasn't been much tape me, especially the first one when he came out looking, you know, looking nice Um yeah so we can.

Speaker 2:

We'll see if he still is Joey Falco from the replacements and we'll see what happens. But let's head up north from Cleveland to Detroit, even though Cleveland's in Houston, but we'll go to Detroit. Detroit's been keeping them close too. They did fairly well, though, last week, but oh yeah, but um, but weeks before that. Like they've been having trouble with the division rivals the last couple, you know the last few times they played them. They're going to get another one in Minnesota. Minnesota is trash. They should be tanking for a quarterback. That's what they should be doing right now, but they're still in the playoffs. Oh no, green Bay's got them right now. Right? Is it Green Bay or they still in the playoffs? I Think I'm still in there with.

Speaker 3:

That's what seven wins.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, I, yeah, I don't know. Minnesota can try to keep in, but if you want my opinion, minnesota, go get yourself quarterback. Kirk Cousins is getting too old, agreed. But give me Detroit minus three. They've been playing well. If they can keep running the ball and the defense plays okay, and you ain't got to do too much with Jerry golf, let's go ahead and do that. But Minnesota just just throwing the towel, just leave it alone, man.

Speaker 3:

Yeah, detroit comes off of a big win 45, 48 to 14 over Denver Saturday night. Jared golf of five touchdowns. This, I believe, of Detroit wins this game, they clinch a playoff spot, or at least the division. I want to say is what I remember reading.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, it's one of those.

Speaker 3:

It's one of those, yeah so I Think they get it done and covered. The mind is three. Minnesota, I mean they got Jefferson back. Finally, I mean he got her toe waist cup.

Speaker 2:

But he's falling to him now, you know.

Speaker 3:

It's Nick Mullins. I'm not really sure. The vision games can be weird, so maybe it'll be closer than we'd like it to be, but I think they get it done and they secure the playoff spot.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, and I honestly I think Minnesota is gonna be dead. As far as a fan base in the crowd, I mean I'm sure to be loud there still, but I don't, I just don't. They're probably done too. They. You see the writing on the wall Jefferson back or no Jefferson back. Yet I mean as a fan, let's face it, there are fans out there that are just happy to make the playoffs. But like me and you, being smart football fans, you know and understanding it, like I'm not satisfied with the Eagles making the playoffs in a Wild card round now. If, if they were like six, six, six and eleven last year and now they make the playoffs this year, yeah and I'm happy, like that's progression, right. But like we were in the fucking Super Bowl, I don't want to be a while. I'm not happy just making the playoffs this year, like that's not how that works.

Speaker 2:

So I mean Minnesota standard expectation is different you know, and the standard expectations for Minnesota Was probably went into the vision Justin Jefferson, kirk Cousins, you got a decent defense and it kind of all fell apart. And here comes Detroit, a young, up-and-coming team that I had talked about, at least last year a lot me and Andrew and there and Detroit's only gonna get better now. Detroit does need it, does need a QB, like they. I mean, I like Jared golf. He's okay, he's a good game manager, but if you, if you make him throw, if you can stop Detroit's run game and you make Jared golf throw, he's mediocre at best you make him the main guy and not just a bystander.

Speaker 3:

Detroit's in trouble right.

Speaker 2:

So that's that's gonna have to be Minnesota's game plan. So Detroit minus three, do you? I'm assuming you're taking that as well, like you said?

Speaker 3:

yeah, I like Detroit to cover the minus three and secure a playoff spot.

Speaker 2:

All right, all right. All right, all right, all right. So next we have, I believe, the Sunday night game is. Is it Baltimore, san Francisco, right?

Speaker 3:

Sunday night game is the Patriots headed to Denver?

Speaker 2:

What the fuck am I doing now? All right, patriots in Denver. I Do have the pass plus six and a half. This game Denver's hit and miss. Bill Belichick is on his last leg. I mean there's rumors of him going out the door. I don't know how real that is. Who are you gonna go out there and get? That's gonna coach your team better than him right now. I Don't think he's a bad coach, I just think that he's had. I mean, maybe take away picking players From them or something like that. But you know Pat's, you know plus six and a half Give me that. I think it's last ditch effort. Denver is, you know Hit and miss team that they probably can get get the ball going there. But I Don't know if the Pats win, but six and a half. I think it'd be closer than that maybe.

Speaker 3:

Yeah, I took the Patriots with the six and a half, though Denver has won a lot of their, like the past seven, eight games They've won, like six of them. They've all been very close games, so you know Denver wins. I definitely think it'll be a close game because they don't really score a lot of points.

Speaker 3:

I think, the Patriots defense will keep them in this game. Just not sure how the Patriots are really gonna score. But you know, maybe a bullet checks got one last trick up his sleeve. But I like the Patriots to stay within, within that six and a half.

Speaker 2:

All right, all right. And then what? So? Christmas is Monday and so, and you, we got three games, because Monday's gonna be all day for Christmas. Christmas football one o'clock, four o'clock, eight o'clock. What's your first game on Monday? What do you? What do you? How do you like that? Tell me about your first game, kurt.

Speaker 3:

Well, it's like, according to the schedule, it's the Raiders heading the chief tightening to the chiefs for a one o'clock game. With the line being a very surprisingly, plus 10. I mean, wow, chiefs are favored that heavily. That's Very surprising.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, and that Las Vegas defense is still playing tough, hard, nasty.

Speaker 3:

Yeah, I kind of really have liked the way their energy has been as a team since they got rid of Josh McDaniels. I mean, they really seem to like their interim to have their. I know these two teams played about a month ago, I want to say, and the Raiders hung in there, they, they, they gave them a pretty good shot with the chiefs, overcame and won that game. I'm definitely taking the Raiders with 10. I think that's just a little bit too much to cover. You know what the chiefs a lot of their, you know. I could kind of mention their second half woes as far as scoring and, just you know, lack of weapons. I was at a Kelsey Understand. It's a rookie quarterback heading into the Kansas City, you know home territory. Maybe that's kind of why, but I Like hopefully a close game.

Speaker 2:

No, I wonder, I wonder how many drops Cadarius Tony has this year season so far. I at what point? At what point do you think they just start? They start outing him. I mean, I know you want to be a good teammate, you want to be a good team, but he's a complete liability. He's lost you so many games. I mean even I think even Pat's getting tired of it. You can only keep saying it because when he threw that inner Written his hands, all his hands off his hands and interception and then they not that, not that they won or anything, but they end up scoring on that drive.

Speaker 2:

You know that they're intercepted, so that could have cost them the game. You really never know, you know, depending on the game plays out. Um, but at some point you got to sit there and say, like you ever see that Vince Vaughn video where he goes alright, we can't start pointing fingers at each other. So last thing we want to do and he goes you, you are proud, your big problem. Like that's what needs to happen. Like, look, everybody, we're not pointing fingers at everybody. But Kaderis, tony, you're a motherfucking problem. All right, you need to get your shit together. Like, yeah, at some point you have to bench him right, you have to like as a coach you have to bench him.

Speaker 2:

I know you don't have much else, but there's play. Somebody else play your rookie play, play a practice squad. You sometimes in practice squad players will come in and make sure that they like. If you call me up from the practice squad and I'm a receiver, I'm making sure that they can't be a good player. I'm making sure that I catch the ball when you throw it to me. You might throw it to me once, maybe twice, maybe three times, but I'm catching it once, twice or three times.

Speaker 3:

Yeah, I'm. I'm very surprised with reads loyalty to continuing to play Tony after he's cost them. How many plays man I?

Speaker 2:

mean, you know what it is they trade for him. So yep so they're trying to do that, but I got man find anything ogee. I. Wanted to say he had five. There's no way that he only has five drops I had. I have the og fact checker on to see how many Kateria's Tony drops we have maybe that's or something like that three.

Speaker 1:

There's at least yeah and there's no way that only has to know.

Speaker 2:

Maybe it means like when he, when it hits his hands, so like, instead of like being able to catch the ball, like, like, maybe like the one in the end zone that Pat threw to him or whatever and he just kind of he couldn't get to it. Maybe they don't.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, it wasn't catchable so they didn't count it. But there's got to be, there's got it. But there still has to be some kind of ridiculous person out there that like added up all the passes he could have caught, or every time he threw to him or something like that.

Speaker 2:

Absolutely. He's just so bad. All right, man, let's go on to the next game, which is the Baltimore Ravens at San Francisco. Now talked about this a little bit. I think Christian McCaffrey should be the MVP and I know I gave Brack pretty a lot of shit and I'm not saying that he's a bad quarterback I'm really not when I say this but he's like in the lead for MVP voting and he should not be because people are like I.

Speaker 2:

So there's a specific play where it was like almost like a wheel route type of route for Christian McCaffrey and he's wide open, wide open, like there's nobody around him for like five or ten yards and everybody's like look at that beautiful pass to Christian McCaffrey, wide open, dude, like I could go out there and throw him that pass. Like you can't sit there saying look at, that's how good Brock Perti is. No, that's how good Christian McCaffrey is and there's proof in the pudding. If you look at, if you look at the games where Christian McCaffrey is not in break, brock Perti is below average and he's proven that with that three game losing streak that they had without Brock Perti and Debo Samuel.

Speaker 2:

Now don't get me wrong Like most, like that's some weapons on your team that are gone. But people were like, oh, we got Brandon, I you, we got George Kittle, got the guy on the other side like, alright, alright, but you know Tom Brady didn't have receivers for years, and of course that's Tom Brady. But if you're really that good, oh, like it's Patrick Mahomes using the excuse oh, I don't have weapons right now.

Speaker 3:

No no.

Speaker 2:

So like, if you want to say Brock Perti is great and should be MVP, him not having weapons for three games Shouldn't matter and shouldn't have been on a losing streak three games in a row. So that's my only be and, like I said, I'm not saying he's bad quarterback or anything. I'm just simply saying, like, give Christian, if anybody's MVP on that team is Christian McCaffrey, because they're a totally different team and we've seen it like, even when it's just Christian McCaffrey out, they are an av, they are an okay team. They're not a dominant like, they're not a world beater like they are now. They bully teams like and we're seeing that now here at the end of the year, but they're gonna have, they're gonna have their hands full Baltimore here, and I actually have the Baltimore Ravens plus five and a half. I don't know if they're going to win, but I really think, cuz Baltimore, you got to think they want to. They they're playing for a number one seed.

Speaker 2:

I think San Francisco sleeping on them a little bit, simply because they've been rolling teams and they pretty much know that they have the number one seed locked up. San Francisco does. So I think they sleep here a little bit. Baltimore may win. If you really got, if you got a few dollars to Throw out there, go ahead and put Baltimore in there for outright on the money. I put them on the money line. It's not impossible. It's not impossible. So definitely with the points and and if you got extra money, throw it on that money line.

Speaker 3:

Yeah, you know, speaking about this game, this line is Quite frankly honest with you. It is disrespectful to the Ravens as Both these teams, like I mentioned, are the one seed and, I think, baltimore line. I think they match up with them pretty well as Lamar is 17 and won against NFC opponents and and his career, so I'm honestly picking the Ravens hold on hold, on hold on.

Speaker 2:

We got an update. We got an update. Sorry, kurt, the OG fact checker is going to chime in with what I asked him. He didn't find the number of, but we have a percentage of how many throws his way, how many he's dropped off. Go ahead, oh gee, fact checker.

Speaker 4:

Canary's down as a drop rate of 10.5%a 10.5% of his passes are dropped.

Speaker 2:

Like that doesn't seem like a lot when you say like oh, he catches 90% of his passes, but I think one. These are, these are passes that are hitting his hands Right. They're not un-catchable balls, they're not attempts. What's up, man? He said he said 38 targets this year.

Speaker 2:

He said 38 targets. So is that those are targets? So those aren't like those are thrown his way? That doesn't mean they hit his hand. Drops Are when they hit the hands and it's dropped. So if it only hit it's out of 38 attempts, he's not even getting there. And then if you include like say he's say he's like hit 20 of them hit his hands, he's missed two, which doesn't sound bad. But it's the effort and things that are like that. You see, right, it's the eye test.

Speaker 3:

I think it's just the timing.

Speaker 2:

It's the timing of when these drops happen crucial, crucial moments like yeah, you're not clutch, bro, you're definitely not clutch, but go ahead with your ball.

Speaker 3:

It's sorry I interrupted you there. Yeah, no, it's all good. Yeah, I'm taking the Ravens to. I think they're gonna win this game and I Think this is I don't I didn't sound crazy, so I did.

Speaker 2:

I didn't sound crazy.

Speaker 3:

No, this is going to be. I like this to be a very physical, low scoring defensive type of game and and Perti's gonna get tested. I don't you know, mccaffrey, it's hard to stop that man, but I think the Ravens are gonna slow them down and they're gonna, but you can't do it.

Speaker 2:

It's not, it's it's not impossible, it's really not. I mean, all you do is kind of got to ignore their motions, because that's where they get you. They do double motions and all that stuff and you really just got it. Basically, it's like it's, it's, it's basic football. Stay put and and do your. You know know your role, you know know your role, get in your spot, be, we're supposed to. Don't bite on anything, because that's what they want you to do. Now, let's not, and let's not forget, you know this might be a Super Bowl preview kind of. I mean, you're talking about Baltimore wanting to, you Know, get. They got the number one seed right now. San Francisco does. So they're gonna kind of see each other, they're gonna want to play and I think. I think I said like you said.

Speaker 3:

But there's definitely a potential for this to be a part one, part two type of series potentially, but I think this would be a low-scoring defensive game. So I mean, if you want to look at the points with 46 and a half, that's close, that's close, that's close.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, um, so we'll, we'll see what happens here. I think, like I said, we'll let the people know real quick, because you said that you think Baltimore wins and the money line on that is plus 194. So you know, when yourself, a couple bucks, that's not that, it's not too bad, it's not like. You know, like the New York Giants beating the Philadelphia Eagles, which we'll talk about here in a minute, the money line for that's plus 490, right? So basically, you'd have to win a hundred bucks, you'd have to bet 500 bucks. I don't know if I'm putting that kind of money up for the jail. You know, like, if you think the Giants are gonna win, but let's talk about that a little bit.

Speaker 2:

The Philadelphia Eagles shit the bed again. But the thing is, is we talked about it a little bit Philadelphia has never beaten Seattle in the last like Like 12 seasons or some shit like that, let alone beat them at home. I don't think. I think this is a game that the Eagles just lost. I, I, I don't know. Necessarily, seattle beat them. Yeah, drew Lock drove down the field. Now hold it. Did you see? Did you see what I said about the Cowboy fans after the game, because I was getting such a hard time for the Eagles getting beat by Drew Lock.

Speaker 3:

Yeah.

Speaker 2:

I said dude you, you can't get me bullshit for losing to Drew Lock when you guys lost to Jada Pinkett Smith earlier this season. You just can't do it, Alright. Josh Dobbs oh. Oh.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, yeah, yeah, cuz we see how good Josh Dobbs is right on a good team like you can't say on a good team like he's Not good. So yeah, yeah, you can. You can miss me with all that drew lock stuff. I mean it was still in Seattle, we had some breathing room. Thanks for Dallas come getting prison gang raped by the Buffalo Bills. But there's, I Think even if Philadelphia tried to lose this game, they couldn't lose this game. They are an 11 and a half point favorite this week Against the Giants.

Speaker 3:

Yeah.

Speaker 2:

I Still say, take the Giants With the points. I just I don't see the Philadelphia Eagles unless for some reason they wake the fuck up. I mean, this is in Philadelphia. Is it possible they get the 11 and a half? But yeah, but I mean I think the odds are better if you, if your money's put on the on the Giants, like it's seven, seven or ten point win, it's still a decent win for the Eagles if it's at home, because you never know, they could be like fourth quarter. They might just be like kind of slouching a little bit and letting the Giants kind of do whatever they want, just to kind of relax. But I say, giants, with the points Philadelphia wins the game. And you know, you know, tommy, tommy Dorito is Gonna. You know, just look like Tommy Dorito.

Speaker 3:

Yeah, and it kind of is, though that game Sunday I just man the Eagles is having three weeks straight. They haven't scored 20 points at least. So that's you know I would definitely. I'm not. I want to say the house is on fire, but I would definitely be concerned right now, but everything is still. They still have three games to talk, trying to, you know, get going a little bit, you know, but with this and what this? Is what's up?

Speaker 2:

I'm sorry. I say what people need to remember to, about last week too as well. They switched defensive coordinators in the middle of the week and it's not like the defense and the defense actually held them under, you know, to help them to 20 points, yep, which is not bad. You know, dk Metcalf, you know, and.

Speaker 2:

Henderson Smith and I'm yeah, jackson Smith, yeah, jackson. And then what's the running backs? Nick, kenneth Walker, kenneth Walker was all in, I know like, and they were, they run the ball pretty well, yes, but you know the defense is who bet do too bad. Then you got to say think that and Darius sleigh is kind of a punk bitch for this a little bit he goes and gets that surgery done which is basically draining of his knee. Now If you talk to most NFL players with a surgery that he did, a lot of NFL players say that everybody gets that done after the season and he decided to get it Last minute during the week now, maybe for the playoffs. He wanted to be in perfect health. I don't know the whole story. Yeah, but dude, do it against the fucking Giants. You know what I'm saying. Do it against the Cardinals, like what did you? Why? Why against Seattle, when you know that's kind of a must-win? So there's that. And then I I think Jalen hers had COVID.

Speaker 1:

I there the reason the way they were doing. Find them separately.

Speaker 2:

But he didn't even. He wasn't even post game, he wasn't talking right like he sounded weird, he sounded off, I Don't know. You know, when you say that you can play and you're gonna play, being sick doesn't matter, at that point you said you can play, you should play like like you're fine. Unfortunately, so you can't let that go. And then he was running a couple times. But you can tell the arm string not that he has a ton of arm strength, but some of the the throws were under thrown, which is kind of uncharacteristic of them, and the. I will say too that the Officiating was bad. They. They had that Bradbury pass interference call where he just kind it was like the one from the Super Bowl Meanwhile the meanwhile the touchdown do Quas Watkins, that would have been that was actually intercepted. You could. You could see his shoulder pads from the collar of his jersey because his jersey was being pulled down so low. Yeah, and did you see?

Speaker 2:

the second interception that ended the game. The dude's foot never touched. They thought it was. They thought it was guys foot. They thought it was the other guys foot and they missed that call.

Speaker 3:

So that wasn't an interception, so not the man in cast Was talking about that because I was watching it, because I was when I watched one at football. I watched it with the mannings just because I, just to hear their perspective, and they thought the same thing. That is, the corners foot never got in, so he only got one in, so that shouldn't have been an interception.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, and now there's. Now there's kind of the thing where because I got a picture of drew lot clapping his hands and some powder came off his hands have you seen that yet?

Speaker 3:

No.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, I'll send it to you after this podcast. But he claps his hands and you like it's raining. Yes, but raining, you see, like little spurts of water. This looks like dust. It looks like like when LeBron claps his hands and and any kind of powder on your hands no matter if it's raining, baby powder or anything is illegal. In the NFL, you are not allowed to put anything on your hands.

Speaker 3:

As a quarterback, Wow, I didn't know that.

Speaker 2:

No, because it's one of those things where the elements are the elements put on gloves. That's why, you know, they say where, that's why they have the gloves. So, hmm, yeah, I don't know. I don't know what's gonna come out of that, but I guess the NFL doesn't really care. And regardless, the Eagles allowed a 92 minute drive with a minute and a half. You know, 92 yard drive with a minute and a half left in the game.

Speaker 3:

Honestly, they should have finished that drive and killed clock, but I think it's just Without a hero and you can't, yeah, you can't, you can't let the hang around, man.

Speaker 2:

And I had some Eagles fans and I'm gonna call them out too. Oh well, jaylin. Jaylin is trying to win the game for us and, and you know, try to throw it up and try to get us the game. When I said, we had a quarterback in this town who got Crucified for playing hero ball all the time and his name was Carson Wentz, get absolutely crucified for trying to throw the ball up and actually make a play to try to win the game. Jaylin Hertz doesn't get. Keep that same energy. Okay, cuz, just cuz. If you're gonna do it to one you got, you got to keep it. You got to keep it the same with the other one. There was no need for two timeouts. Left for 25 seconds on the clock and you throw it up 40 yards to try to get a pass interference, call cuz. That was Nick Sariani's reasoning. No, no, sir, you take the 10-yard check down, then you check it down again and now you got a 40-yard.

Speaker 3:

Oh, yeah, you're talking about one divan's best was wide open coming across the field. Yeah, yep, yep, absolutely.

Speaker 2:

Yep so absolutely. So miss me with the pass interference here above stuff, guys. All right, eagle Sands, yeah, don't do that. As far as points go, this point spread this game.

Speaker 3:

I Do have the Giants covering the 11 and a half. I think that's just a little bit too much for the Eagles to cover, just you know.

Speaker 2:

It's almost disrespectful to the Giants.

Speaker 3:

Yeah, I just think right now it's, it's. It's just a little bit too much for me from my liking. 11 halves a bit too much. So I'm gonna take the Giants with the plus 11 and a half. Maybe a little the veto magic happens, maybe it doesn't, but I do like Philly with, I do like the Giants with the plus 11 and a half. I.

Speaker 2:

Will say one thing the Eagles are doing that I liked with Matt Patricia is the rotation, like he was rotating, finally rotating that defensive line for the Eagles, so that that was a good thing. I don't know if you have any bonus picks, but I got one here for the people and I did it last week With the bills and Dallas. I'm going Dallas again. Dallas is at Miami. Dallas is a completely different team out of their stadium and they're a completely different team when it's not against garbage teams. And people can get mad at me for saying that or say that I'm crazy, but what teams have they beaten this year? All right, cuz, cuz. Here's the thing. Dallas fans will quickly say all the Eagles are frauds. Meaning what? They're not that good, right, the Eagles are not good, okay, so so if they're frauds and not that good Dallas, that means that win against the Eagles doesn't count.

Speaker 2:

Correct. You can't. You can't, right, no, you can't. So if that's the case, you've not beaten a good team this year. All your wins are against shitty-ass teams and that includes the Eagles. Now, technically, the right now, the, I believe, the Seahawks win is against a winning team, but I wouldn't even call them a good team right now because they're kind of like hit and miss right there. They're kind of, yeah, hot and cold depends when you get them. So, yeah, do we know anything about Tyree kill this week Is, is Tyree kill playing? Do you know for sure?

Speaker 3:

Kurt, I'm having OG fact-checkers work on that real quick Okay.

Speaker 2:

But I don't know, because it was an ankle sprain, it wasn't broken or anything, and he didn't play last week. Miami still wins, but now that, now that Buffalo wins, miami's got to keep winning, right? See, dallas doesn't control their, then looks like I said last week, dallas does not control their own destiny. So whether they get hyped up for a game or don't get hyped up for a game, they're making the playoffs regardless and it all. They really just have to like hope that the Eagles lose Right at this point.

Speaker 3:

So for the Giants or Cardinals.

Speaker 2:

Right there, like they're the biggest Cardinals and Giants fan right now. What's up, I'll go ahead. Oh gee, fact-checkers, in with these, these updates.

Speaker 4:

So he didn't practice today. Okay, so they're still. They're still like uncertain If he's gonna play okay, all right.

Speaker 2:

So he hasn't practiced yet, but it is only Wednesday according to us, and if he practice this. Tyree kill need practice probably not, but Miami does need this game. So and Dallas might? I mean Miami and Dallas, they're pretty far apart, like. So Dallas does have to travel across the country a Little bit to go play in Miami In that heat, not that they're not used to it, but I'm sure that they're catered to in those domes when it's nice and cool and stuff like that. So give me Miami minus one and a half and give me Miami outright. Miami beats Dallas. I don't think they beat them handily, though Not like the bills it. I said they would get waxed by the bills, like I had a feeling they were gonna get waxed by the bills, and Miami I don't think so much. If Tyree kill doesn't play, then it is really really close and Dallas could possibly win, because I don't know what weapons Miami is really gonna have, aside from waddle and I Not Marina's.

Speaker 3:

No sir right?

Speaker 2:

Is that who that I was a monster. Who am I thinking of? No, sean Marino is who. That was right.

Speaker 3:

No, was a Broncos running back.

Speaker 2:

I Don't know why I was thinking have a sit in Miami. I'm pretty sure he did. Yeah, but yeah. No, that's uh, but yeah. So give me, give me Miami minus one and a half and outright, and I would even jump on that line. Now I think Tyree might play, because it's a big game the Buffalo Bills just won. What's the rest of Buffalo schedule look like? Oh gee, fact checker, do we know what the Buffalo schedule looks like?

Speaker 3:

I know they play my.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, yeah I know, but I just don't know if they have an easy schedule after that. You know what I'm saying? Like cuz, that way, cuz, if Miami knows they got an easier bill flows, got an easier schedule I'm not sure how, which one it is, but, um, miami's gonna want this game because they there's, they still haven't closed out that division and Buffalo has one on them, so they really need to beat Dallas.

Speaker 3:

And I know Miami plays Baltimore upcoming soon as well.

Speaker 2:

Also, they really need to get this Dallas win then, because it's probably an easier win than then Buffalo and Baltimore. So what do you think, man, what are your thoughts on this game? Kurt?

Speaker 3:

Um, talking about Dallas versus Miami, I'm I'm probably gonna roll the Dolphins. I really think the formula has been shown, especially at Under losses, that the way to beat Dallas is to run the ball in Remostar and their backup Devin I can't say his last name, I change or something. They have speed. They have speed everywhere and I think Mike McDonald's gonna love to utilize that a lot. I kind of like. I think Miami's defense probably won't play as good as Buffalo's defense Did against Dallas. I think I don't think that can. Dallas is off. That's a play as bad. But um, yeah, I don't know if Terry doesn't play. That definitely changes things a bit, but um, he plays.

Speaker 3:

I think, they win, though, I think they'll cover that one and a half and, honestly, right now the line might just be at one and a half, because we don't know if he's gonna play. But if he does, if he's confirmed to play, I think that will jump to probably a little jump, maybe a minus three.

Speaker 2:

So if you have an inkling, if you're out there and you have an inkling, I definitely will put some money on the dolphins and. Oh, og, fact-checkers. In with the the updated information there for the Buffalo bills the bills.

Speaker 4:

Remaining schedule is the Chargers and then the Patriots, and then the dolphins.

Speaker 2:

Oh yeah, see, so the dolphins really got a win then, because you're talking about two dubs right there two dubs in the Chargers and the, and then Pats yeah, that's two dubs, and then yeah, so the office really want this game.

Speaker 3:

That off low cannot get swept by the Patriots. I tell you that much.

Speaker 2:

No, no, and is that in Buffalo? Is that in Buffalo, kurt? I'm not correct, owen, I Just you took it down. It is in Buffalo, it is in Buffalo. So that'll at least be a home game. So you got Buffalo at home. Chargers are ass. And then the dolphins they already beat so that they better. So the dolphins really need that Dallas win, and then they need to be, they need this game for sure.

Speaker 3:

Then, absolutely.

Speaker 2:

Miami's got Dallas, so Miami's got Dallas, baltimore and then Buffalo. That's a rough, that's a rough one going into, going into the schedule, I mean that. So they, they there's they probably already know there's no guarantee they're gonna be Baltimore or Buffalo, so they got it really nail in that Dallas win, yes. So yeah, I'm definitely taking Miami then, because Miami's gonna be playing hard.

Speaker 3:

Um yeah, Dallas like you said team on the road completely different.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, so, um, we talked about it a little bit before. Kurt, that's our NFL pretty much, unless you have one, do you have a bonus game for the?

Speaker 3:

people or anything. I had one bonus game. I had the Jaguars plus one and a half on the road at Tampa for a battle of Florida.

Speaker 2:

So Jags plus one and a half. Why so low? I Mean the bucking is.

Speaker 3:

I Don't know, maybe they're loving the Baker. The Baker love, cuz he played again like for touchdowns, no picks last week. But Jacksonville's a better team than Green Bay, so Okay, yeah, yeah. I don't know.

Speaker 2:

that one caught my eyes so I was like, oh, don't be taking that one now Speaking, now that those are done, now mean you've been talking about when the NBA season Actually starts, and this NBA season is gonna start this Monday, on Christmas. So I have a couple of NBA Christmas picks for you. What do you think about that, kurt? You ready for some NBA? So the first game is the New York Knicks. The New York Knicks, with in the Milwaukee Bucks and the New York Knicks are kind of ass.

Speaker 2:

And of course, you know Yannis. Yannis is Yannis, it's three point line. Give me the bucks and then you're gonna parlay that shit and go in there and parlay that with the Dallas Mavericks Plus four I know it's at Phoenix and Booker, but I like, I like Luca and then you're gonna parlay it with 76ers plus one at Miami. Okay, they've been on fire. You take those three and that's gonna be your triple threat for Christmas. Now, if you really want to get freaky-deaky and take those NBA picks, parlay those and parlaying with some of your NFL picks, you go ahead and get brave, but but, uh, but yeah and and I would put in for Joel M Bede over 30, 35, 35 points. They just been clicking. He's been scoring 40 points a game. I do that shit too. What do you, what do you think about this Christmas schedule? Kurt?

Speaker 3:

Yes, looks like they have a pretty solid lineup. Start off with the box going to the Knicks warriors at Nuggets, celtics at Lakers. We know that rivalry is and Six is ready. Heat finishing off Mavericks at Suns. Man, nba betting is, sometimes it's predictable, sometimes, man, it's a throat like. Sometimes a team really has a bad night, like I learned.

Speaker 3:

Like last night I picked the Celtics to beat the Warriors minus like four and a half they end up talking a 13-point lead and the Warriors end up winning an overtime by like seven Um oh yeah so with these superstars, man, like it's just crazy, like, like you said, and be could go off and they win plus 10, or I don't know it's. I Like it, though We'll have NFL NBA going on, so you could, you can parlay Maybe I have a fun little Monday going on this is yeah pretty cool and usually Like you don't have all those, all those games like going on for the NFL, so it's been kind of you know.

Speaker 2:

So now it's just, if you're a sports fan you're definitely happy for sure. Um, but yeah, sorry, you guys miss hunter. No hunters hits tonight. He's the hockey guy. He's doing things, do making big moves and stuff like that tonight making some good money. But you know, guys, kurt, I want you to have a Merry Christmas, man, I'm sure I'll see you. No, family get together. It's gonna be Christmas to you folks and highly jolly for you guys. Man, hopefully you guys make some money this week with these Christmas games and all that stuff. Got any big plans for Christmas other than the usual?

Speaker 3:

I will be working Christmas and then hopefully we can all get something together going.

Speaker 1:

Monday but.

Speaker 3:

But, uh, well, they be playing well. Well, I when that because I always like to look at the end of schedule when it first comes out I'm like I like like circle games I wanted to go to. I wanted to go to that game Saturday Because I thought it was gonna be a big game but obviously, with all the injuries and the way the seasons have played out, I'm not. I'm not gonna go to that game Saturday but, um, nothing really big this weekend. I'm just gonna be chilling for the holidays. Vegas was way too much. Way too many lights, bright lights, slot machines.

Speaker 2:

Sure, I'm sure it was sensory overload.

Speaker 3:

Yeah, man, it was a little bit overwhelming at times. So, uh, no UFC this weekend either. Their big card was last weekend and Covington man I'm sorry if you watch that made event, tony. The rest of the fights were okay, but yeah that Leon Edwards fight versus Covington was Awful.

Speaker 2:

That's alright. Well, that's. That's the risk with the fights. You know what I'm saying. You really never know what's gonna happen. That's really a gamble there.

Speaker 3:

Edwards, one wanted pretty easily four to one, five, oh, and the rest of the rest of the car was okay, betting wise. But yeah, just give me watching some sports this weekend and supposed to be getting warm, so maybe go to a park or something.

Speaker 2:
