Virginia has set aside March 9-15 as Flood Awareness Week this year. You can expect to get a Flood Awareness Guide in your mailbox this week, but we wanted to sit down and talk about it with you, too.
Do you know what you should do if you come across a flooded road? What to consider, when evacuation orders go out? How to protect your home from flood damage?
This is the time to sit down with your family and talk about a plan. We're a healthier community when our folks are prepared for severe weather.
