You just knew VAR was going to have it's name in one episode this season, but based on the outcome of games this week, it was too hard to ignore.

VAR was the complete centre of chaos for some big games this week, including Arsenal's 1-0 defeat against Newcastle and Monday night's clash between London rivals Chelsea and Tottenham, which saw Spurs finish the game with 9 men, plenty of goals ruled out and a Nicolas Jackson hattrick winning the game 4-1 for the Blues.

Elsewhere, Celtic provided a persevered and valiant effort against Spanish giants, Atletico Madrid by drawing 2-2 in their Champions League clash at Celtic Park.

Cardiff drew 1-1 away to Stoke, a point which still keeps them in play off contention and will certainly back themselves to take three points when they welcome Norwich next week.

Fennan & Mayhem take their seats to the Booth to share their thoughts and views on this past week's football drama.
