Just one more international break to get through after this week and we're free until next year, but let's not worry about that too much. As much as we can show our acknowledgement for our countries, it's club football that we truly admire.

Starting off with Chelsea taking the main headlines again as they produced an entertaining spectacle at Stamford Bridge against Man City where it was goals galore for both sides as the game resulted in a 4-4 draw with Man City graduate, Cole Palmer scoring a late but crucial goal and equaliser against his boyhood club.

Things aren't getting better for Ange Postecoglu and Tottenham as suspensions and injuries to key players are proving to take their toll as they conceded two very late goals against Wolves to lose the game 2-1.

Liverpool maintained their consistency with another comfortable result against Brentford, winning 3-0 and proving to be a true contender to challenge Man City for the title this season.

Newcastle have also endured a dip in form as of late as they couldn't put things right after suffering defeat to Borussia Dortmund in their Champions League fixture midweek, losing 2-0 to the Cherries.

After a humbling 6-0 defeat to Atletico Madrid, Celtic redeemed themselves in the best possible fashion with 6-0 win of their own against Aberdeen, moving eight points clear at the top of the cinch Premiership table.

Cardiff produced an underwhelming and uncharacteristic performance against Norwich as the Bluebirds conceded two goals within a minute and a half, giving the Canaries a 3-2 victory and only their second win in eleven games.

Fennan & Mayhem are back in the Booth before we head into the International break to share their thoughts and views on this past week's footballing action.
