We're half way through the January transfer window and based off of the amount of activity that has taken place so far, it goes to show that this period really isn't easy for teams to add much needed reinforcements, especially with the Asian Cup and AFCON competitions simultaneously ongoing.

This transfer window has proved to be frustrating for Mayhem and Fennan in different ways, with Celtic vulnerable to losing key players such as Matt O'Riley this month and fearing that the Celtic hierarchy will not be able to reimburse into guaranteed quality. For Fennan and Cardiff on the other hand, new additions to the squad are yet to be made, which has raised questions amongst the Cardiff faithful.

The scheduling of fixtures in the Premier League throughout the past week has also been affected drastically, with games taking place on weekday nights and only two to three games on the weekend. However we did see champions Man City and Newcastle produce an entertaining spectacle at St James Park, where Oscar Bobb scored a last minute winner to give City all three points in a 3-2 victory.

Fennan & Mayhem are back in the booth to discuss their thoughts and views on this past weeks biggest footballing headlines.
