We may have overdone it with our "Winter break"...sorry guys!

A lot has taken place over the past month, but it certainly gave us a lot to talk about.

After a underwhelming deadline day, it has proved costly for Brendan Rodgers and Celtic, surrendering top spot to their Glasgow rivals Rangers. However with Rangers suffering a 2-1 defeat on the weekend to Motherwell, it was the perfect opportunity for the Bhoys to regain their place at the summit in their Sunday clash against Hearts. After a controversial first half red card and a missed penalty from Adam Idah, Hearts came out 2-0 winners at Tynecastle, keeping Celtic two points adrift from the top.

Cardiff had also endured a frustrating period, but things have been looking up for Erol Bulut's side as of late. The Bluebirds' first home victory of 2024 came against strugglers Stoke and with that they successfully carried over that momentum into their Severnside derby encounter against Bristol City this past Saturday, winning 1-0 and completing the double over their Severnside rivals.

The Premier League produced some exciting fixtures this past weekend, including the Manchester derby which remains blue as Man City came back to beat United 3-1 at the Ettihad thanks to a Phil Foden brace and Erling Haaland sparing his blushes after missing a huge chance in the first half, ultimately cancelling out Marcus Rashford's stunning opener.

Liverpool caused chaos at the City Ground in their game against Nottingham Forest where Darwin Nunez scored a 99th minute winner, despite their only being eight minutes of added time. While flares were lit in the away end and Jurgen Klopp celebrated wildly with his team, Forest players and staff surrounded referee Paul Tierney at the final whistle.

Fennan & Mayhem make their long awaited return to the booth after a month lay off to catch up on all the action.
