Dramatic late goals, three horse race for the title, playoff scraps and a relegation battle between at least six teams...these are what makes the Championship the best league in the world.

Speaking of the Championship, Cardiff have been flying high as of late and that didn't stop this past weekend when the Bluebirds produced a roaring comeback to be beat title challengers, Ipswich where goals from Ryan Wintle and Callum O'Dowda in the closing stages of added time cancelled out Kieffer Moore's opener. Not only does this bring them within reasonable reach of the play offs, it will also give Erol Bulut's side further positive encouragement and the best chance of producing  a historic double of South Wales rivals, Swansea when they meet at the Liberty next week.

Celtic returned to winning ways with a much needed 4-2 win over bottom placed side, Livingston and will hope to continue to push Rangers for the top spot as we approach the league split in the cinch Premiership.

You never expect a Premier League weekend without VAR being involved nowadays. Liverpool hosted Man City in the Sunday afternoon kick off at Anfield, where Pep Guardiola has yet to experience victory. That wild statistic lives on as neither side could be separated in their 1-1 draw. However a late but strong call for a Liverpool penalty in late added time was waived away by Michael Oliver as Jeremy Doku happened to catch Alexis Mac Allister with a high foot, but VAR deemed Doku to have made contact with the ball first.

Fennan & Mayhem take their seats the booth to share their thoughts and emotions on this week's football.
