Happy Easter to you all football fans!
We made it through the final wave of the internationals and here we are to embrace the final stages of the football season, the period that proves to be decisive for us all for our beloved clubs.

It proved to be a not so Good Friday for Cardiff fans after producing a below par performance against Sunderland and ultimately suffering a 2-0 defeat to the Black Cats. However the Bluebirds bounced back after a very fortunate 2-1 victory against play off contenders, Coventry thanks to two own goals from Liam Kitching.

Celtic continued to build momentum going into their crucial clash with Rangers next week after a 3-0 win against Livingston, which also saw the return of some important individuals in the likes of Cameron Carter Vickers, Reo Hatate and possibly Callum McGregor for which will be arguably Celtic's biggest spectacle of the season.

The Premier League produced very few surprises this past weekend, but Newcastle's late onslaught against West Ham took the headlines after coming from two goals down to win the game 4-3, but proved to have come at a cost for the Baggies after losing a few key players to injury.

We never cover leagues abroad, but this particular headline had to be discussed in the form of Xabi Alonso announcing this week he will stay at Bayer Leverkusen for at least another season, ruling out the possibility of the Spaniard taking over from Jurgen Klopp at Liverpool come the end of the season.

Fennan & Mayhem take their seats the booth to express their perspectives on this week's easter footballing weekend.
