Revelation 12:10-12 is the text for this sermon entitled, "Triumph over Satan."

Our text today can motivate us to remember that the church and God’s people have and will ultimately triumph over Satan, the dragon. We will see what led to Satan's downfall and how we know he is defeated. Here are the four contributing factors:
1) Salvation - given to us by God on His throne and by His Lamb, Jesus.
2) Power - throughout Revelation, God is shown as radiant, shining like the sun, which is a symbol of his power and might.
3) Kingdom - God's kingdom pours out darkness over Satan's "kingdom" (Rev. 16:10)
4) Authority - God has all authority which led to Satan's downfall amd banishment from heaven (Rev. 12:7)

And so we see Satan, overthrown by God in this chapter! God hurls Satan down with force, violently displacing him from his former position in God's throne room. The signs of his fall are the blood of the Lamb and the testimony of witnesses. The witnesses accepted their own mortality knowing that everlasting security awaits them. The heavens rejoice over Satan's defeat and God's triumph!
