Being a teenager is challenging enough without the disruption of incontinence. Ultimately, the team aims to help their patients achieve a high quality of life and strive for independence as early as possible.
Dr Vogel also highlights the importance of anticipatory guidance, letting patients and their families know what will happen as their child ages and develops.
