In honor of Mental Health Awareness month, this week I’m joined by Tory Stroker, an anti-diet Registered Dietitian and Certified Intuitive Eating Counselor. Tory specializes in disordered eating recovery and body image work for women, and in this conversation we both share our experiences with anxiety.

Together, we discuss:

  • Our mental health journeys and triggers
  • Pressures from the wellness industry to “cure” anxiety
  • Negative narratives around medication
  • Our lowest points struggling with anxiety
  • The intersection of wellness, culture, and mental health
  • What we've gained from medication
