Welcome to episode #104 of the Building Great Lives podcast!

Emotions are a critical component of our daily lives, shaping how we live and interact with others. Psychologists have identified five core emotions. Of the five, anger, if not managed properly, can destroy relationships, reputations and lives.

In Ephesians 4:26, the Apostle Paul wrote, Be ye angry, and sin not: let not the sun go down upon your wrath.

This verse highlights two critical aspects. First, the inevitability of anger. Secondly, the importance of managing it righteously.

In this episode we’ll discuss what it means to be angry and not sin. Through the biblical stories of Cain and Abel and King Saul and David, we’ll see real-life examples of how anger can spiral out of control, leading to sinful actions and life-altering consequences.

We’ll also discuss practical advice on managing anger, from seeking God's help, practicing self-control and resolving conflicts quickly we can keep our frustrations from becoming sinful actions.

Join us as we learn to navigate the intricacies of anger, providing you with tools to manage this powerful emotion righteously.
