Welcome to episode #100 of the Building Great Lives podcast!
In this episode, we delve into the comforting truth that your story is still being written by God. Drawing this revelation from Hebrews 12:2, we’ll explore the concept of Jesus as the "author of our life story," emphasizing how God, not your difficulties, owns the rights to your story.
We’ll also reflect on the life of David, a man whose story was filled with many power and painful chapters , yet each chapter was vital. Despite chapters of failure and despair, David's faith in God's ongoing work in his life led to extraordinary outcomes.
We also explore the transformation of Saul into Paul, showcasing how a past filled with mistakes can be rewritten into a legacy of faith and redemption.
Through these biblical narratives, we are reminded that no matter the trials we face—be it depression, pain, brokenness, addictions or abuse — none or them determine how our story ends. The pen is in God's hand.
Finally, we contrast the stories of Peter and Judas, both of whom betrayed Jesus. While Peter's repentance allowed God to continue his story, Judas tragically took the pen from God’s hand.
Join us as we encourage you to leave the pen in the author’s hand and trust in His ability to turn even the darkest chapters into testimonies of His grace and redemption.
Your story is not over; it’s still being written by the hand of God.
Thank you for listening. Please subscribe and share this message of hope with others!
Let’s keep building!
