Speaker 1:

Hello everyone, this is Susie and welcome back to my podcast. It's been a while and I have some really exciting news. I have actually rebranded and the Imperfect Mellow podcast is now the Mental Health-ish podcast. Yay, surprise. So we are now the Mental Health-ish Podcast, and the reason that I changed the name is I have been thinking about this for a while.

Speaker 1:

The name for the Imperfect Mellow Podcast kind of came up very randomly. It happened very quickly and once I started recording these podcast episodes and getting guests, experts, to come on board and talk about different things, I realized that my podcast was more than just imperfection and not being like our perfect selves, things like that. I feel like my podcast is more than that. It covers more than that. I've had people come on who are authors. I've had people come on who are coaches. I've had people come on who are just my friends, you know, and we're just having a random, fun conversation to really change the name and rebrand into something that really captured the large umbrella of different things that my podcast and blog really covers. And so Mental Health-ish is a podcast and a blog that not only covers and talks about mental health topics, that not only covers and talks about mental health topics, but we talk about everything. So if I wanted to have someone come on and talk about their book, if I wanted to have someone come on times with Imperfect Mellow, it doesn't really give off in the name itself what the podcast is about. And so I would get a lot of questions from people who would ask me at first, like when they would first hear about the podcast, like, oh, what does that mean? Or you know, like, tell me more about it. And so I would often have to explain, like okay, the Imperfect Melo podcast is a podcast, it's a mental health podcast, and so I would really have to go into details, like, okay, what is this blog and podcast about? And so I feel like with the mental health ish podcast, it's like in the name itself, right. So you know that this is a mental health podcast and blog, but then there's also that other ish you know that we discuss and talk about, and so I feel like this is a more, a better, like a name to just pretty much encompass what this is really about, and so I'm really excited to finally share this news with you all.

Speaker 1:

I've been working on this for the past two months and really figuring out a better name for the podcast and the blog. And not only that, switching up my website. You know redesigning things like that, and so, in case you all haven't noticed, the Imperfect Bella website is no longer working, and so, if you did want to look up this podcast at my blog, everything is still the same on my website, but the website is now mentalhealth-ishcom, and that is where you will find all of my mental health blogs, all of the mental health resources from before, and you'll also find all of the podcast episodes. I did leave them. I'm not erasing them. I feel like they were very helpful to a lot of people and they were really fun to record, and so I'm not starting from scratch. I'm just rebranding and just changing the name of the podcast and the blog. So everything that was there before is still there, and so if you guys wanted to check out the new website, check it out Mentalhealth-ishcom, so that's mentalhealthishcom. And also on my Instagram page you could search the mental health-ish page. Let me give you the exact name Mentalhealthish is the username mentalhealthish for Instagram, but you could find all of those social media links on the website. So the secret is out, and so I'm really excited to start posting podcasts and posting blogs on the website once again and sharing with you all.

Speaker 1:

I do have some podcast episodes already recorded and ready to go, and so those will be released in the next few weeks. I'm still deciding if I want to release episodes every week or if it should be something that I release like every two weeks. I don't know. You guys can let me know your thoughts on that. Should I have episodes every week? Should it be every two weeks? But yeah, I'm really excited.

Speaker 1:

I have a lot of good episodes coming up and I've also been looking for more people to come on and, just, you know, have conversations with more guests, and so if you guys know of anyone that would want to come on and be a guest on the podcast, let me know, and you can always message me, private message me, and you can also email the podcast. The email for the podcast is mentalhealthishpodcast at gmailcom. But yeah, I'm really excited. I'm always looking for guests, even if it's something that you just want to come on and share, like kind of share your story or talk to someone about something, and we could just literally sit and talk.

Speaker 1:

But yeah, we are now Mental Healthish Podcast, um, but yeah, we are now mental health ish podcast and I'm glad that you are here and I'm excited and look forward to releasing episodes and just talking about different things, because I have a lot to talk about. I have a lot to say, even just recently, with different things that have happened, different events, things like that and so I will start sharing all of these things with you all and starting next week. So set your calendars, set your alarms. The Mental Health-ish podcast is now here. It's now here, we're here, so I'm really excited for that.
